    UNFORTUNATELY I INSTALLED IT A FEW DAYS AGO AND HATE IT. IT IS SLOW AND HAS ELIMINATED MANY OF MY FEATURES MORE BELOVED & USEFUL (MENU, SEARCH, LONG-TOUCH, ETC. ARE ALL PASSED), I COULD NOT ABLE TO ENJOY FULL ACCESSIBILITY TO NET SPEED... HER DEATH SLOW, MY OLD VERSION WAS SO PERFECT FOR NAVIGATION.

  • Impossible update of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

    Hello

    I write here because I can not install the new version of Ice Cream Sandwich for my Xperia.
    I received it yesterday on the box it is well marked "Android 4.0. Scalable', so I followed this tutorial ( http://http :// www.gizmodo.fr/2012/06/23/xperia-s - ics.html) and he said that the software was already up to date.
    When I'm on the phone in "settings" then "phone information" I say my version is Android 2.0, not 4.0, whereas with the link given above I succeed and be the ice cream sandwich.
    Also, I searched a bit and I found this link ( http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service), so I installed the software, then I followed the steps, even after he told me I had the software update. Then I reinstalled everything z as software with little or not data I have nothing to lose, I want the update before I do the rest.
    So... Now what should I do?
    What can I do?
    There is a display problem and I am still under the most recent version? If so, how do you know which version you have?
    If not, what is the solution, what is the problem?

    Thank you in advance, good day to you all

    Thibault

    Have you checked if your IF is listed for the ICS update yet?

  • Ice Cream sandwich plus stage text is no go?

    My boss just got the new Google Nexus phone on giant screen, I think that the first phone to run the OS ice cream sandwich.

    In any case he tried a soft we recently and it was running fine on all phones and tablets we tested on but on ICS once the Send button is hit and stage text is due to appear the screen turns white, sweeping gestures still work and other executives work very well have no text step It's the only thing I can think of.

    I will try to rebuild the application with no text on the stage, but it's a great nuisance. If someone wants to check the app you can get it on the link below.

    https://market.Android.com/details?ID=air.com.toyotaforklift.calculatorphone

    or

    https://market.Android.com/details?ID=air.com.toyotaforklift.calculatortablet

    Not sure if the new screen phone crazy high resolution is considered a Large or XLarge screen Android.

    According to me, the app was built with AIR 3.0, do not think that I have this pc on 3.1, can be worth it.

    Something about these lines:

    import flash.desktop.NativeApplication;

    import flash.system.Capabilities;

    import flash.events. *;

    import flash.display.StageOrientation;

    private var startOrientation:String = stage.orientation;

    If (Capabilities.cpuArchitecture == 'ARM') {}

    NativeApplication.nativeApplication.addEventListener (Event.ACTIVATE, handleActivate, false, 0, true);

    NativeApplication.nativeApplication.addEventListener (Event.DEACTIVATE, handleDeactivate, false, 0, true);

    }

    private void handleActivate(event:Event):void {}

    stage.setOrientation (startOrientation);

    }

    private void handleDeactivate(event:Event):void {}

    }

    The idea is to set the direction of what it was at the start of the application and the confidence that Flash managed to start in the right direction. You can wait for a resize event before setting this value, if you encounter any problems.

    The reason why you cannot use:

    stage.setOrientation (StageOrientation.ROTATED_RIGHT);

    is because the orientation is landscape on Android phones and tablets, but portrait on other tablets.

  • «... "No visible extra button on Ice Cream Sandwich

    In the new Aurora user interface for android (v14), several posts on the new design show a button «...» "additional should be to the right of the tab new button '+' when running on ICS. My phone is running ICS, but I don't have the extra button.

    First picture here shows what it should look like. My interface is similar to the image on the left, despite ICS running. http://Madhava.com/egotism/archive/005059.html

    Hello

    Yes, for older phones that upgrade to ICS (which have the menu button under the screen), the main menus will be available from there instead of adding the new... button. I will update the documentation to reflect this subtlety, thank you for that question!

    Kind regards
