A6000 SD card write speed?

What is the write speed maximum of internal A6000s... one of my friends offered to buy my current card at almost full prices. But there is no reason to upgrade if im already at maximum speed cameras (an example would be the Canon 5 d M3, which cannot write to SD card with about 45 MB/S)

So, what is the write speed from MAX SDcard of the Sony (Ilçe-6000) a6000? is it not able to take advantage of a 280 MB/s of sandisk card?

You can not buy a SD card that will not work in an A6000. If the card you get is capable of speeds of reading/writing that cannot the A6000, the A6000 can still use the card, and your next camera may be able to take advantage of the extra speed.

In other words, which are always slower, either the camera or the card, which will be the limiting factor, which is ok, and if the card can run faster than the camera can manage, they still work together. And if the device can run faster than the card, the camera will slow down until no matter what the speed, the card can handle.

Then buy the fastest card you can get and if your A6000 cannot take advantage of the extra speed, he can still use it, and maybe your A6000M2 will be able to use the extra speed.

  • SSD on MPB early 2011 (13 inches) slow write speed

    Hey all,.

I installed an SSD Crucial of MX300 in my MPB 2011 (13 inches). I get that I have probably will not hit the read/write 510/510, said the player, but right now I get only a writing speed of 240 vs a reading of 470.

Any ideas on why it's so slow?

    Thank you.

What is it connected to internally? If we replace the optical drive, then it may be because it's a 3 Gb/s bus rather than the primary drive SATA 6 GB/s bus connects to.

Do you have your repartition and reformat the SSD drive before using it? It is not unusual to see some write speeds slower than reading speeds. The MX300 is a new economic model that may be slower than expected in real use.

  • read/write speed

    Hello

I want to know how read and write speed of the last GEN TC?

It varies a lot in fact.

My TC Gen5 is written rather slow... 20 Mbps but playback is ok... around 40-50 MB/s

Of course, it is via ethernet and is speed of copying a single large file. Several small files will go much more slowly.

  • Satellite A80 129 DVD-RAM write speed problem

    Hi all!

I have a problem. the thing is that I want to write in NERO 6 (last version purchased) a CD or DVD, but we will only write to me at slow speeds. In this laptop I MAST * a DVD-RAM UJ-830 s with DVD-R 8 x and 24 x CD - R write speed said.

When I try to write on a CD it gives me only 16 x write speed, then where is x 24? It goes same for DVD, as I want to burn DVDs and it gives me only 2 x write speed.

Please, do not put this fault on a CD or DVD, cause in my country there are limited suppliers of this type of media, so I won't change my media. They worked with my previous PC CD - RW fine, no speed problem.

I want to know also if this is lack of DVD - RAM, where then find firmware for this burner?

    Thanks for your replies.

    BR, Kekec

You should try to update nero, it might solve the problem.

Also an update of the firmware can help, go to http://www.toshiba-europe.com/storage/index.asp?nav=HOM&page=HOM&frame=home

  • F20-136: CD write speed is 24 x while it should be 52 x

I recently bought a F20-136... the CD write speed is 24 x while it should be 52 x... can someone tell me where I could get the latest driver/firmware for my drive from DVD-RAM (Mat * a DVD - RAM UJ-years 840).

    Thank you

    Hello

I n know where you found the information on the 52 x write speed of CD, but I checked the disc and found this properties:
    Maximum speed:
    Read
    CD-ROM 24 x
    DVD - ROM 8 x
    To write
    CD - R 24 x
    CD - RW 4 x
    HS CD - RW 10 x
    US CD - RW 10 x
    US + CD - RW-
    DVD - R 8 x
    DVD - RW 4 x
    DVD + R 8 x
    DVD + R (Double Layer) 2.4 x
    DVD + RW 4 x
    DVD - RAM 5 x

As you can see the drive can write CD - R and 24 x CD.

    Hello

I agree with San Remo, but the fact is that the firmware also may be responsible for a miracle. Strange thing is that one of my friends noticed that after new firmware the drive was not fast but very sensitive on different media (different producers).
It will also be interesting to know what model of laptop you have.

  • Problems initializing digitizer card high speed

I recently built a new computer for data acquisition.  I had all the questions according to a program for the acquisition of data for a digitizer high speed written in LabWindows 8.5 and it works successfully with LabWindows 9.0 on the new machine.  The only problem I encountered was name the digitizer card high speed max the appropriate name of the resource planned by the data acquisition program.  Everything went very well for 4 days.  Today, I try to run the same program and cannot enforce.  Debug code indicates that the device fails to initialize when niScope_init() is called.

In MAX passes card scanner that can call a test and I have test panels and see an input signal.  I checked the name of the device to ensure that it matches the named resource that provides the program.  I also reset the device to the MAX and then tried to run the program.  None of these attempts succeeded.

I can't really find anything that changed between the last time I ran the program and today.  Everybody to face this problem in the past, and is at - it solution or a proposed additional troubleshooting?

This problem has been resolved by reinstalling the drivers for our digitizer high speed.  I have still no idea why after four days, something happened to the original driver installation.

  • Question about PERC H330 write speed:

Hello. We just got a Dell PowerEdge T330 with 4 x 120 GB SSD in a RAID10 configuration.

A ran an ATTO Benchmark and worry about the shown writing speed the image below.

Parameters or settings to change that?

FYI - the SSD are Intel DC S3510 Series (6 Gbps)

    Hello

    HOMERSlMPSON
Parameters or settings to change that?

The write speed seems normal. I don't know what your expectations are.

The H330 has no write cache. Any RAID array you create will have raised. This overload causes readers to write more slowly as if they were not in a RAID array. If you need to improve performance, then I suggest that you upgrade to a H730. The H730 has write cache and should not interrupt the flow of data. He is able to cache these data instead of making a break and unpausing.

  • Wireless AC slow (and different) read/write speeds

    Hi all

I just bought a new Mac Mini and unfortunately it is too far from my media server to run an ethernet cable (I just moved) so I use an Airport Extreme (new model with AC Protocol).  But the read speeds seem to be slow I can't broadcast some movies from high on the server bandwidth.  I tested the speed of transfer, and it seems that I get the following:

    READ: 24 MB/s (or 192 MB/s)

    WRITE: 8 MB/s (or 64 Mb/s)

Can someone explain to me why these speeds are not the same?  And should not be a lot faster?  I get full signal and I joined technical details if this helps to explain anything. I would like to know what speeds you guys get with your Airport Extreme.

    Thank you!

How far is your Mac to your server?

There the walls or something in the line of fire?

Have you tried the 2.4 GHz connection instead?

  • Satellite P300-133: Pioneer DVD - RW DVRKD08A - write speed is locked for 1 X

    Hello

I used the phone for more than a year. All of a sudden my dvd drive does not write with full speed (8 X) but * only * to the lowest i.e. * 1 X *.

Any ideas as to why? Problems with software or hardware?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello!

What program to use to burn discs?
You should try it with another burning program (for example CD Burner XP) and if you use Nero to visit the site of the factory for an update. Nero are already a lot of updates available.

Last but not least, you should try to remove the drive from Device Manager CD/DVD, and then restart the laptop. After the reboot of the CD/DVD drive will be recognized again.
If it doesn't work try removing the upper and lower filters in the registry. See this Microsoft document for more information:

  • Satellite L670-112 - SSD slow read and write speed

    Hello.
I put 120 GB SATA III SSD kingston (read and write above 500 MB/S), but when I run the sequential test I get 150 MB/S read and 107 MB/S in writing. I know SATA II limitation, so should not write and read nearly 300 MB/S?

Yes, it should at least reach SATA II speeds (close to 270 MB/s).

Most SSD's 4K sector drives you may need to realign the 512 to 4K sectors using a partition alignment tool (I think that WD have one available).

  • Question about CD/DVD player, Satellite L30-10 X write speed

According to the manual that came with my laptop (L30 x 10), the DVD drive can write CD - RW 16 x speed. However, according to this site (discontinued products) the drive can only write CD - RW at 4 x.

Could someone please clarify? And is it possible to know what are the different speeds for the DVD player without having to buy all the records?

    Thanks in advance

    Baz

    Hello Baz

Have you checked the speed for CD - RW you use? Perhaps it cannot be written faster than 4 x speed. Usually what is written on the label of CD - RW.

  • LaCie FW 800 PCMCIA card low speed in Vista

I have a pcmcia card from Lacie FW 800 - whith on my old Toshiba Qosmio gives me speeds of more than 50 MB per second read. Now with my nice new Satellite and Vista it barely reads @ 7Mbs and written to a pathetic 2Mbs. Any idea of before I get rid of Vista as a waste of time.

    Dermot

    Hello

Well, it's not easy to tell if it s a card PCMCIA slot issue or Vista problem.
But I noticed that some users have had a slow performance PCMCIA with Vista on laptop series different. So I have to say that it s a Visa problem.

But it would also be interesting to know the performance with XP, then compare the two results.
