  It is pretty easy to do, but you need the appropriate adapter cable (I have this: http://www.amazon.ca/Asuxtek%C2%AEMicro-USB-Host-OTG-Cable/dp/B00E8CL09Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1407... but something similar will work).  Plug you it into the USB on the W4 and receiver microphone wireless for the mouse inside and you're good to go.  The one drawback is that you can't easily load the W4 during use.

  I can't find a solution to this problem on forums.

  My Iconia Tablet has the following problems:

  • no light when it is plugged
  • Start button / stop does not
  • does not restart
  • does not load (at least isn't inidcate he is in charge and does not light) when connected to the computer via USB or wall plug

  The Tablet worked well in advance of these problems. There was no inidcation a low battery or any other problem. He started with the screen goes black, the windows button would cause the tablet to vibrate when you press. Now, nothing is unresponsive on the tablet.

  I DO NOT have the available keyboard for troubleshooting.

  Personally, I am an apple user, but it is a Tablet, that my boss has purchased from the labour market. I don't know if Miss me just something, or if there is something wrong with this thing? All this happened so fast...

  Or maybe a bad diet. W510 has a screwy connector (it looks like an Apple connector) on the bottom and requires a specific connection. (are bit less expensive options, it's the actual supply of Acer.)

  PS you can not charge a W510 via USB connection (I a).

  My A210-10g16u Iconia has found himself quickly against sporadic failures charging to a failure.  Anyone with a similar experience?

  • After I turned on tablet of AC to check the charging time.  Before the stop I noticed battery power not ca.  Tablet ran strong on battery and recharged normally.  Yet once I turned it on to AC to check the weather and before stop noticed the power source has been battery not ca.  Crazy; charged very well, she then rejected food.  Strong continuous tablet on battery but come then reload orange light has been on for a few seconds or not at all. Curiously, charge indicator on occasionally to the newer, more stringent outlets, then a surge protector, but for no more than six or seven seconds.
  • It was then that I remembered my A210 some refills back had fallen to about three feet on a well padded mat, shock absorption. I had checked to see if something was loose.  Each connection was tight and the son seemed fine, including the input power.
  • I tried to reload; same problem: battery light came occasionally on some points of sale closer but never more than six or seven seconds. In seeking outings more tight to determine if the problem was the transformer or the 18W CA Clip, the clip broke.  Having broken so easily, I thought that the clip must have caused a problem contact so I ordered a new Acer.

  Certainly the easy answer is to try another charger.  But the A210 and sister units cylindrical connector feeds 12 volts DC 1.5 Amp of entry.  In this day of Chargers USB corresponding entry and exit is already quite difficult without a connector obsolete barrel makes it largely impossible.  I'm call Acer and see if I can get a reference to a nearby authorized service center.  Perhaps such a centre or other repair facilities can at least connect a corresponding charger.  But I suspect that the internal charger is a failure.  That's why I'm looking for anyone with a similar experience. If the battery remains strong, I used the camera on AC quite often several months wonder so if this turned out to be bad for the internal charger.

  Well, it's resolved myself by visiting a repair center that uses a voltage/amperage meter to determine that the switching power supply barely sends all power to the tablet. Fortunately, this charger is fairly easy to replace through the Internet. As stated in my titled topic, it is part of Acer PSA18R-120P and adapts to many of the old tablets with USB power shaped barrel, no entries.

  One interesting share side. I asked the repair specialist if my habit to leave the rest AC Tablet after the load when it happens to be close to where I'm located could have shortened life charger. He said no, but this practice could hurt the cells of battery as well shorten battery life. The result would be a scenario in which the battery level decreases by 100, or say, 99 percent, up to about 92 or 91% very quickly.   I had my W510 Iconia for barely a year.  I use it for business travel because it is light and compact.  I am a very "basic" user - email, internet browsing, that's all.

  One day, I went to start my Tablet and it never reached the homepage - the "twirling circle" (to show the wait time was necessary) just kept on twirling.  It never started again.

  Can now try the power button for 20-30 seconds and force a shutdown. Then wait 10 seconds before trying to restart. Sometimes they just in an infinite loop on start.

  Acer Iconia B1 Tablet 8 GB 32 GB internal external (Micro SD) Android Version 4.1.2.

  My Acer Tablet keeps telling me that I have a memory, even if I uninstalled multiple applications. Storage Android app provides the following information:
  INTERNAL STORAGE: Total 0.98 GB, Apps 744 MB, available 109 MB space.
  INTERNAL SD: Space Total 5.17 GB, Apps 66.67 MB, MB 5.26 Audio, 16 k downloads, available 5.1 GB.
  SD EXTERNAL: Total 29,71 GB, GB available 28,83 space.

  When I connect my tablet to my PC, the Windows folder Report Manager:
  28.8 29.7 GB GB external SD
  SD internal 5.08 GB of 5.17 GB

  Please explain why I get the message 'not enough storage space' and how can I solve this problem?  I have to return compressed under warranty?

  Thank you before you answer.  I moved several applications on the internal SD card (well some of each app) and who seems to have got rid of the "message of insufficient storage space.  I do not remember this problem (and correction) potential is meantioned in the instructions Acer Tablet.

  Hi there Lesyl,

  I see that you cannot print because of an error regarding the print spooler. Have you tried to remove data from the app to the spooler? For that; Settings > Apps > Plugin printing HP Service > clear data.

  Another thing you can try is to start the table in safe mode and see if the print spooler error is always present. How to start your Android phone or tablet in Safe Mode Let me know if you can print in safe mode.

  After asking this question on another forum, I tried the volume on the side of the tablet button.  But even after having this volume until a short stop of max, I tried to play the video on the YouTube app by which I had initially discovered that my volume was cut.  But I haven't heard a thing yet!  So I figure there must be some software setting I don't know.

• remove the demo mode off the coast of the b1 iconia Tablet

  my Tablet has deviated on demo mode and I can't turn it off. It only lights up when the tablets serves does not, but it's a little awkward and a drain on the battery of tablets. I tried to reboot and there is nothing in the settings which shows how to turn it off.  Anyone has any idea how he get out?

• Connection HDMI Iconia A700 problems

  Inherited an A700 Iconia Tab.

  4.1.1 Android

  Kernel + 3.1.10

  I have unsuccessfully to connect the tablet to a TV.

  Two different TVs that have no problem with my laptop do not recognize the tablet.

  Have tried 2 HDMI cables different, $4 and $30 Rocketfish cheapy.

  Have tried every combination I can think as the unit that is lit first, when cable plugged in fact etc..

  No joy.

  Downloaded manual waste, time user.

  Is there something I'm missing, tweaks I have not found or...

  Love to get this working before the new season of Game of Thrones!

  Fix! If you do not see an indication of the "connected HDMI" in the bottom corner, or anywhere on the screen, this would indicate that the HDMI port is not working. This would require service and you can contact technical support in your region for the service.
