A720 IdeaCentre turns off only after half a minute

Why does my computer go out alone after half a minute and comes to the screen in the entrance of windows and I need to type the password and login from scratch.

Moderator edit: added detail to the subject.

Avis77,

The screen saver is set to 1 minute and has all of the parameter 'Require a password'.

If you right-click on the desktop, a menu will appear. Select the option customize at the bottom of the menu.

This will open a window. Bottom right is a button named "screen saver". Click on it and change the password and time settings.

I hope this helps.

    Yes.

You will need to have the laptop for a tuneup to happen.

I recommend that your schedule the tuneup for a long time when you are not using the laptop during the day so you can stop it after what he's done.

  • Somehow my new Apple TV 4 causes my Panasonic Plasma TV turns off every 30 to 60 minutes.

Somehow my new Apple TV 4 causes my Panasonic Plasma TV turns off every 30 to 60 minutes. I thought for sure I had capacitor problems with my TV (he is about five years old) but my wife suggested to check our new ATV4 because the problem started just after Christmas when we got the new ATV4 and the problem occurs with our ATV3. I was skeptical but I have tried to unplug the power cord on the ATV4 and to my surprise the TV cutting question disappeared, so I have to have my ATV4 unplugged when not in use and plug it in when I want to use it, a real pain in the *. If accidentally, I forgot to unplug my ATV4 after using my TV stops every 30 to 60 minutes after my ATV4 is connected and not in use. I'm at a complete loss as to what is causing this problem. For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

ATV turns off after a certain period of time in the settings: http://help.apple.com/appletv/#/atvb7a7550e3

The ATV also has the ability to control the power of the TV via the HDMI cable, if the value.

I will try to put the ATV to sleep immediately after use, as explained above and see if the TV turns off then.

If so, go into the settings, remote controls and disable control of your home with remote control entertainment system and see if only he stops.

When the TV turns off, it is on the entry of Apple TV and the screen saver or you look at another entrance, for example, a cable?

  • Satellite Pro P300 turns on automatically after 3-4 minutes after the stop

We have a problem with the new laptop Pro P300 series (P5PC5E). It's not OFF after his stop. Laptop turns on automatically after 3-4 minutes after his stop.
This occurs when LAN (RJ-45) is connected to the laptop.

-We have disabled "Wake on LAN" from BIOS and tried to disable some other Wake on the options, but nothing made.
-In addition, we tried to use the laptop on the other room in another cable RJ45. Is not helped either.
-Laptop is new and there has been nothing, except installed Vista for installation at the factory at the end and install F-Secure.
-After that, F-Secure has also removed with the uninstall tool.

Now... what someone has idea how to solve this problem or shoud simply return laptop to Toshiba for repair?

Don t think you need to call the ASP for the repair.

Just a question; did you check if the laptop wakes up automatically if the LAN cable is NOT connected?
    Please check this box.

If the laptop won't wakeup automatically after that the LAN cable has been disconnected, then everything is ok with your laptop and I don't suppose some settings need to be changed.

    In the BIOS please disable:
    Wake on keyboard
    Wake-up on LAN
    -Battery clock criticism

You should also go to Device Manager-> network controllers-> Lan card-> properties-> Advanced tab.

There, you might disable wake-up settings to.

    Check it out dude!

  • Screen ACL in Windows 7 towers / turns off in 1 or 2 minutes on its own

Strange problem started recently. My computer laptop LCD screen turns off in 1 or 2 minutes on its own even to power cable. I checked and have already reset all power plans, but the screen seems to stop on its own. I was not able to understand the problem.

Also changes to the power management has no effect on this behavior. For example if I increase the delay before the screen stops at 10 minutes (with or without battery) it always closes the screen in 1 or 2 minutes

Can you please suggest what could be the problem.

    I have an Intel Core 2 duo processor - x 64-HP DV4t laptop

    Thank you

    Hi Varun,

    ·        This happens to you while you use a particular program or are the random problem?

I think it is a hardware problem and you may need to contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer for further assistance.

In addition, uninstall any software of management of power given by the manufacturer and check.

    Uninstall or change a program

  • iPhone 6s constantly turns off automatically after reboot

I have an iPhone more 6s running the latest public version of 9.2 and he began presenting questions a couple of days.  It worked without problem to release iPhone day so far here.  I was using the phone (reading e-mail, browsing safari) when the low power WARNING mode blown up when the battery reaches 20%.  I ignored and used for a few seconds and put it down to my charger and cable. All this happened in less than a minute when I plugged the charger into the socket, and before I plugged it the button home is hot and the screen would not activate.  I read another thread for this particular issue and a reboot of the phone usually solves the problem (press and hold the home key and and the button power/sleep for 10-15 seconds.)

    See this post here:

My iPhone 6 sec Home button is really hot and the unit does not light

Also, I called Apple and the representative of the Applecare she succeeded to remote into the phone and run the diagnostics, but nothing have mounted. She advised if the question comes up to bring it to a store.

The initial reboot worked fine, however I noticed later, it takes about 3 minutes after a reboot, the phone turns off again unless I use it.  Sometimes the home button gets hot, most of the time it didn't.  I'm on my third day with a semi useless phone.  I have done the following to try to resolve the problem:

    Reset: no chance

Reset to factory settings: no chance

Restore from iTunes and Back Up Software: no chance (and I've had more problems with vertical and horizontal lines randomly after a few moments.)  I had to let the phone sit an hour and 'cool', before I could do another restore)

    Restore from iTunes: no chance

I have a Genius Bar appointment for this afternoon, so we'll see what they say.

Acording to Apple geniuses, there was a problem of hardware and software, and they replaced the phone without hesitation.  It seems odd that all of a sudden it went wrong.  I read in the previous thread that some bad Samsung chips have been used in some phones.

  • How the LED lights up when a threshold is reached, then turns off only when the value does not reach the threshold for a while?

Hi, I want to write a program that can turn on the LED when a range of value, this is the threshold and only when the value does not reach the threshold for a period of time, say 5 seconds, then the LED will turn off, otherwise it will remain. How can I achieve this in labview? Can someone help me? Really thanks!

I assume that you use a while loop to keep the updated value.

Add a record to offset to your looping it initialize with a U32 (time in ms)

Add the registry to offset to your loop that keeps the previous value of your bool

When your reaches the threshold value => the light and set the current time in your shift register.

In the next iteration of the loop weather check value is still above threshold

=> Y-online previous set to true?

    => Y-online the next iteration

-Online N => turn switch on and set the current time in your shift register.

-Online N => subtract the time current less time shift record-online more then 5 seconds?

=> Is => keep turning on

    -Online N => turn given

    Hello

Tried all of these options with no improvement.  Stumbled upon an answer that described enter deeply into the Windows registry.  (I do not remember where it was.)  I had checked before, some of these files, but not these.  Some of the updated files were missing.  I backed up everything and put the recovery disk in.  Success at last!   My PC and I are both happy now.  I'll bring back had more than 100 updates that should be downloaded and installed.  I didn't know if I'd do them all at once, so I started with some of the older ones, but they have not all install. Then checked to install them all.  Updates made in the order of most importance and in the right order needed.  I had to do some updates more than he has found since then.  I am really satisfied with the result.  I'm going to put programs and files back on my PC for some time, but I'm not tearing my hair.  Maybe this will help someone else.   Thanks for the suggestions, all help to improve my knowledge about computers.

  • hot to turn off Java after the startup message

    Hello world

I know it's a bit old, but I couldn't find an answer to it, or maybe I searched the wrong topic. After the reboot, I still get this warning window saying "to use the"java"command line tool, you need to install a JDK.
I ElCapitan and recommended Java installed since Mavericks version, but the message never goes away. The used warning window is displayed only after restart, but now he appears randomly during normal use of the laptop.

Please help me to get rid of

You have software that requires the Java command line tool? It is only in the JDK you will find Oracle's Web site.

Check your/Library/LauchAgents and /LibraryLaunchDaemons for startup like facebook or similar items. Also, check your user settings (users & groups) under your Log - In for Autostart-software items after the connection.

  • Equium A110-233 display turns off and after some time return on

After that 2 weeks of using this laptop, it began display off Middle switching operation. The screen is barely visible, not enough to see the pointer to stop. Also ceases to stop orders is the power button. After a short time he returned once again. Is this a common fault, I have not yet searched the forum, need a quick fix / help for a new student to the University. Thank you

    HI Michael,

It comes to definitelt completely not normal behavior for all Toshiba laptops. Your description of the problem indicates a problem with the inverter FL. It is a small device that offers the backlight of the LCD screen. If your laptop is only 2 weeks then it will certainly be under warranty then I suggest you only to contact the vendor of your laptop to make arrangements for it to be repaired.

    Kind regards
