'Abandonment' of Firefox is no longer select erase.

I have the settings for delete (selected) data when I "Quit" Firefox. It worked fine, but suddenly stopped (a few updates ago). It really starts to annoy me. Any ideas on how to get this feature working again (I've already tried turning and turn it back on)?

  • Firefox is no longer in the first 5 seconds after the launch plan

I am running Win7 with all the latest updates and Firefox 13.0.1. After I run Firefox, a few seconds later (it varies), the Firefox window is no longer in the foreground. It's as if I clicked on another window or wall-paper, and the Firefox window is no longer selected. It becomes embarrassing when I launch Firefox, click a bookmark to blog and try to scroll down with my mouse wheel. All of a sudden, it stops scrolling because the window is no longer in the first plan/selected, and I have to click on the Firefox window back to the foreground. Note that if I open other windows, the Firefox window always remains above these windows. But the window of Firefox itself is not the selected object.

I finally found the plugin that asks that question for me. The plug-in, I confirmed my system is 'Shockwave Flash 11.3.300.268', which is the most recent available now. Deactivating a plugin solves the problem for me. I hope an update of Adobe will respond to that.

  • Firefox is no longer connected but internet Explorer doesn't. How can I restore firefox

One possible cause is security software (firewall, antivirus) that prevents or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

Since the recent updates that have begun to use containers of plugin, Firefox takes a long time to close. If I try to go back there, he said that it is still running. I have liik in the Manager of tasks and about seven containers plugin. exe is running, and I turned off or disabled mostplugins and addons, same Quicktime. Firefox uses an obscene amount of RAM on my XP machine and rendered sluggish. I use XP SP3. This started after you added the plugin container in one of the recent updates earlier in the year. For the features it offers me or does not offer me, instead, it uses far too much RAM and is too slow. And takes a long time to close when I close the browser. It uses about twice as much RAM as it was.

  • Firefox is no longer closing of tabs in the output

I use Firefox 39.0. In previous versions my tabs automatically close their exit. This option is no longer available? I'm unable to findanything in the help files.

Do you mean that the tabs of the previous session are restored automatically at every startup.

If the start setting is OK (and not "show my windows and tabs from last time"), then you can check this.

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.

  • Firefox is no longer the auto my email and password

When I visit websites for which I have the usernames and passwords stored in firefox including firefox used to fill and which other browsers always autofill, FF no longer fills them. I don't use private browsing and signon.autofillForms is set to true.

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/firefox/addon/autofill-forms/

This version has been updated in September 2014, and you might need the new version now. To get the update, you can have Firefox check for updates of the extension as follows:

Open the page modules using either:

       Ctrl+Shift+a
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, above the list, find the button with the "gear" or "cog" icon, click on it and "Check for Updates".

Or if you only want to update this extension, I think the installation from the Add-ons site will overwrite the old version with the new one (not 100% sure on this subject).

    Hope this helps

  • Firefox is no longer remember homepage

Hi - I discovered Firefox open is no longer with my startup named homepage. Instead, it displays some page or the site was open when I closed the browser before. I tested and discovered that he doesn't know what I get as a starter, including "Restore Default" homepage. I made no changes to the settings of Firefox other than upgrades v31. Is this a fault in this update? -Thank you

  • 29 Firefox is no longer prints correctly of the construction in the PDF Viewer

I print multiple labels of EBAY one day. Just updated to firefox 29 (not realizing really what has changed - now regretting) and the built in PDF viewer is no longer prints correctly. It shows well the label on the screen, but when you send to the printer (I tried two more different) it prints just the pages of two thugs. I tried a number of different print settings, and as I mentioned two different printers. Unable to get anything to print now except two blank pages. If I change the app settings in firefox to use an outside party 3rd PDF Viewer (e.g. Adobe reader 11, PDF Viewer, etc.) who work very well. However, the default built in PDF Viewer broke clear in this new version. A very disappointing start for me since it is an essential feature for my use. Yes, I have a work around, but the point (and a new bug) are still valid.

Firefox 29.0.1 has been published, which contains a fix for this issue - an update is recommended for all those affected: Firefox update to the latest version

  • Firefox takes a long time to close

There is a delay of 10 seconds after I click the 'X' to close Firefox. Same result with the "Exit" on the menu drop-down selection. It close much faster using "Alt - F4" or shut down the computer. Would this have something to do with some add-ons to want to stay open? HP laptop, Windows 8.1, 8 GB of RAM

The best way to close Firefox uses the menu entry.

    • Windows: Firefox > output or File > Exit
    • Mac: Firefox > Quit

  • After reset my Firefox is no longer opens web pages automatically when I type keywords in the address bar. How can I fix it?

Before I reset my Firefox I could any words in the address bar and Firefox would redirect me to the Web site. For example, typing ' reservoir dogs, imdb "would redirect to the film's IMDB page, and type a random sequence of characters would take me to (for example) a website of a company that uses these characters as an abbreviation of his name.

I never put this option anywhere, it was just like that for quite a long time. Now, this possibility came to me and I can't seem to fix it.

I use Mozilla Firefox 21 laters.
