Printing from iPad to my wi fi network how?

Hello Abeatspart

Officejet J6480 isn't compatible ePrint or Airprint which are used for printing from mobile devices. I can give you instructions to an ad-hoc connection, but it's a connection peer in which your iPad 2 and the printer are connected to each other just wireless. This means that the printer is not on the network (if it is already the case) and the iPad could not be connected to what either.

I suggest you find a more recent HP printer that supports Airprint, who hails from the iPad or the ePrint that allows you to print over the network with the ePrint application, or by e-mail at your address email of the printer.
