Ability of songs on Sanza Fuze

Hello everyone. I bought a Sanza Fuze not too long ago. I really enjoy all the features, but I got a big problem. When I upload songs to the "rocket" Sanza, it turns out that he'll let me just put 50 songs in the library. I have a lot of memory when 50 songs are downloaded, but when I download another song, it won't permitt me. How can I store more than 50 songs in my Sanza Fuze?

  • Cannot open the file Sanza.fuz for make room on sanza fuze

The battery on my sanza fuze was exhausted, and when it didn't keep on I thought the battery was dead. However, when I turned it on, it flashed on the screen a message

"not enough space for music DB. Please free 90 MB'

I'd do it, but all I get when I connect to the computer is a removable drive on my computer icon. I click on that, and then I get sanza.fuz. But I can not open sanza.fuz to remove anything that sanza will agree with that.

It is interesting to note that on the two computers I until now plugged in, I have two removable disks (on this one removable disk (E and removable disk (F.))) But it is the first which has the sanza.fuz, the other trying to open says "Please insert a disc into drive F:."

Does anyone know what is the problem?

  • Sansa Fuze USB problems

I bought a sanza Fuze supposedly legitimate cousins friend. It worked fine for 2 weeks, but the other night, that I wanted to put a song on my sanza. so I plugged it into the USB to my computer and my computer would not detect it. I tried to connect more than 5 times and still the same thing happened. I plugged my USB and my computer it has detected a few seconds. Then I tried to connect my sanza in my cousins computer and still no response. I plugged my USB and my psp in his computer to see if the comp would detect this and he did. My sanza would always connect to my pc by me simply attached by USB. Idk what went wrong this time. I am doing something wrong or is a defective machine?

Try to change mode USB, Meteorological Service of Canada (not PSG & not Auto-defaut) and see if it will connect in this way. MSC mode is easier for the player to connect to.

You can do this by going to SETTINGS > SYSTEM SETTINGS > USB MODE.

Let us know if it works or not.

  • Radio recorded covers of songs - legal?

I have recorded a bunch of songs on the radio with my rocket, replaced .wav .mp3 format, edited the songs (gave good titles, artists, albums, years, genres) and put them in the section music of the "rocket".  First of all, I did it with Rhapsody.  However, after you download the update of the firmware of rocket, I thought that the upgrade has deleted most of my songs (in fact, rather than to list all the songs in the "Recently added" section, only the most recently added 50 have been listed).

In the face of the apparent loss of the major part of my songs and a previous suggestion that I use an application other than Rhapsody to manage my rocket (if you can see my previous posts, you can see how this problem has progressed), I reloaded my songs from my computer on the WMP library and then transferred these songs to the "rocket".  I found myself with duplicates of most of my songs, but this is not the point: I finally deleted the copies, the Rhapsody original ones (not the WMP new ones).

My problem is that for some songs, WMP has added on my rocket the album art of the song - the photo accompanying the title, artist and album.  Now, it seems to me that the recording of a song from the radio is legal, as Exchange format (for example, .wav to .mp3), but I don't know whether or not the copy or with a history of the cover of a CD or music, that I do not have is legal, or if it is illegal.  That means a lot to me - I'm a stickler for legality.

Anyone here know the answer and can point me to some credible Internet source stating how/why the cover is legal (or illegal, I'm guessing that illegal now), or if no one knows the answer, can anyone direct me to a place where I could start to try to find the answer. Under laws of America/USA.

If not, is it possible to get WMP to delete pictures of the "rocket", only for the records of the radio (I have most of the original songs pre-installed Fuze, more a few legal download) ideally without having to re - sync all songs again?

I think I have temporarily deleted all the photos...

This is the second time, I searched all around to try to do something with the "rocket" and then find everything what I need to do was to go directly to the "rocket" in my computer (I deleted all the files in the folder 'Album' with the exception of legal downloading files one three - or two - and two (or one) songs originally installed.)

I accidentally deleted the image of Shanghai food and song - the image was pretty, and the beginning of the part of the song wasn't so bad.

  • ITunes Podcast!

I download the Kiddnation.com podcast through Itunes!

Sanza Fuze will not play them.

If the audio file is the tag in the PODCAST, it will not be displayed in the title of the song, genre or album. Podcast should appear under the menu 'PODCAST' from the Sansa under MUSIC.  If the Podcast indeed transferred to the Sansa but will not play, you can check the file format if it is supported.

I have a Sanza Fuze, 4 GB.   I accidentally let a couple of hours to overload.  And now he has a two-hour charge.   He arrived in 3/4S and stop abruptly saying "low battery".     I feel.

    Coulibaly,

I maybe have not communicated clearly.  What does the "rocket", that was before I updated the firmware.   I've just updated it (and he continued after I was instructed to unplug the PC).   Still have to see how it performs over time.   will be monitoring and reporting.

  • The memory card must be a micro or can my rocket uses the regular blue?

I need a 16 Gig memory card. I have a 8 Gig microSDHC and it works fine, but I've recently seen this one on Wal-Mart, which is not a size micro card, this card will work with my Sanza Fuze?

Nope, it does not. The Micro card integrates as little and nothing else does.

  • Another type of MTP issue I read here

need information: Sansa Fuze 4 GB version 02.03.31A using the MTP, info PC mode: build self system, XP home SP3, WMP 11.  CPU AMD FX 60 2.6 Ghz, 3 GB, ATI gfx card ram

Problem: The mode MTP and WMP 11 worked fine several weeks ago. As sync playlists, load mode MTP, PC also detected in MSC mode.  No problems.

Recently, when I plug the Fuze MPT mode, I found new hardware balloon "sanza fuze" then it turns into MTP device then he said: ' your material has been blocked, but you must restart the pc or it may not work properly.

So I reboot (the made with rocket plugged upward in and out in MTP mode) I get the new ball of material found again.  I check the Device Manager and see the "rocket" listed in portable devices, then renamed it to MTP device.

To end up with one brand yellow when he tells me to restart the pc.  If I check the properties at this point, there is a code 31 "windows cannot install device because you have to restart the pc.

Reboot, even sung and danced.    Windows still detects of Fuze in MSC mode, very well.  WMP 11 never know same here if in MTP mode (because never really settle the rocket)

How to complete the restart installation I guess that could be the main issue, then I expect WMP to pick it up.

What I tried: after reading these fourms and searching the Web I have:

1 reinstalled WMP 11 (does not solve the issues)

2 installed microsoft MTP Kit (does not solve the issues) portage

3 hook of rocket for a Pc HP using the same cable and WMP 11 picked up very much like "Sansa Fuze 4 GB" and installation of synchronization begins.

4 formatted fuze and tried on my PC (does not solve the issues)

5 Ran win xp SFC (System File Checker) to start / run / guest. (took about 25 minutes) always the same questions.

    6. system restore to a few days ago.   (does not solve the issues)

    7. probably some other things I've forgotten and the list above is not necessarily in the exact order.

I read about the monkey thing and some on Winamp, but I really want it works as it should just like he did on the machine with WMP 11 HP, just as he has done on this pc a few weeks ago.

Which might be of importance: got in trouble with the old creative soud card and had to try to remove completely. still an unwanted software here I don't know, but I got most of it.

Went from xp SP2 SP3 and a lot of updates to Ms.

can't think of anything else, sorry to be so long, just that you stay up to date on the situation.

    Thank you

    Mark

OK Tom, I'll give it a try and post back with the results.

    Thanks for the find

  • sound files

My new toyota Hilux has a USB connection and when I plugged my Sanza Fuze, he saw it immediately, and it works well with the music, all aspects. He can't see sound files, which seem to me .aa files. Can we do anything? I have one with a straight line through plugin, but of course, that uses the Sansa controls and does not load

    Anyone any ideas?

    DREW

    Nothing can be done.

The point of DRM'ed formats such as audible is to prevent you from copying music via digital interfaces like USB.

  • SD or SDHD?

To be honest its irrelevant. Find a size you like for the cost. SD is actually smaller then 4 GB cards. SDHC is greater. Both work very well. So, as I said to decide what you want to spend and get the higher card, you can or you can just get a map of the size you think you need and use it. You don't have to worry about the rest.

  • How to delete songs that came on my Sansa Fuze?

My Sansa Fuze came with 19 songs on what I want to delete but I don't know how.  When I plug in my Sansa Fuze in my computer the songs do not appear on my computer but they are on the device when I use it.  They are not in the 'Music' folder or any folder when I manage the device to my computer.  Can someone tell me how to remove these unwanted songs?

If you don't have any other music/photos/videos etc.  on the "rocket", or you have copies that you are ready to transfer again, the best way to get rid of these songs is to format the "rocket" that erases all content (but does not change its integrated software). Settings from settings/system/Format.

Or if you have a friend with a new Windows computer, you can see the songs and delete them yourself.

Why can't you see these songs? It's a long story, but a bit simple.

The "rocket" has two modes USB, MSC and MTP (Settings/System Settings/USB Mode). They have two different lines in the "rocket" and your computer can only read one at a time. (The "rocket" sees it bit any mode).

The songs of the sample were transferred in MTP mode. But your computer connects via MSC - my favorite - mode so it cannot see them.

MSC treats the "rocket" as a generic flash drive. You can drag and drop manually, or if you want you can use Winamp or Media Monkey to sync things.

MTP allows the "rocket" be controlled - sync, etc. - by Windows Media Player 10 or higher. It allows also WMP transmit codes DRM (Digital Rights Muck) hidden-in-the-user for things like the songs protected against copying and audiobooks that expire. Probably not, you use those.

The idea was to have the equivalent of iTunes/iPod of coordination for the majority of users - but also for the greater freedom and control of Maritime safety, if a user wants to change. No Windows, on Mac or Linux users, find yourself on MSC as well.  The only real requirement for MTP mode is for DRM files.

On a computer that has Windows Meda Player 10 or higher, Auto Detect mode the "rocket of" (the third choice in Settings/System Settings/USB Mode) - which is what the "rocket" uses unless you changed it - connects in MTP mode and these songs will be visible and removable. That's why it would be simpler to use PC a friend Windows - Vista, Windows 7, etc.

The original Windows XP comes with Windows Media Player 9 - a too old version for PSG. If you are running XP you could update WMP (via support.microsoft.com) to empty these songs. Then, you must return to the MSC (not Auto Detect) and do all what you did previously to transfer your music., you'll have all your visible songs by you.

  • Song Sansa Fuze Max file size?

Hi I have a sansa fuze and tried to play a very long piece of music (mix) as a song, but when I try to play the "rocket" plant - gray screen.

Is there a maximum file size for the songs on the "rocket" or something?

    Thank you very much

    Thanks for your help.

I'll look into it, but clearly it's hogwash f I need some sort of 3rd party software and edit the files just to play an mp3 on an mp3 player! Not to buy another player from sandisk. Too bad, I did not read these issues before leaving with my money.

  • Sansa Fuze Skip Song

1 month ago I bought a Sansa Fuze 4 GB, and I really liked it.  In that first month, I transferred music from Microsoft Media Player for the "rocket" with no problems and I also played music without any problem, so I see no problem.  Everything seemed to be working great until last night when I installed the new firmware.

I installed the new firmware using the request for the Installation of the Firmware Sansa. After installing the new firmware, I had to Resync my library.  I noticed after the resynchronization when I played music, many songs on the "rocket" should be ignored.  For example, I would play the ABC song after song what ABC ended, I see the image of the song DEF, but song THAT DEF would not play and the "rocket" would skip to the next song HIG.  If I tried to navigate back to the song (DEF), which was initially ignored, should be displayed, but the "rocket" would skip to the next song HIG.

If I tried to navigate directly to the song ignored interface of rocket, the song wouldn't play.  Artist ZYX has several songs in their folder.  If I chose to play all the songs of this specific artist, the "rocket" would skip infinitely without playing any music.

Also, after I updated the firmware, I noticed all my music was removed from the "rocket" and my GoList was empty.

Does anyone have recommendations on how to solve these problems?

    Update

I tried the "rocket" by sliding the spring power switch on the side to the top as if you turn on the device, but hold position for 20-30 seconds as described here http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=sansafuse&thread.id=44242, but he did not rest.

    Thank you

    BarDev

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I have connected the "rocket" to my computer and was able to play a song on my computer from the "rocket" which was previous fried.

I formatted the disk.  After formatting the drive, I resynced the "rocket" Media Player.  Now, everything seems to work.

    Thanks for the help.

  • Missing songs on Fuze

    1. my fuse shows 860 songs on my desk when I go into computer - other - Sansa Fuze. When the player is turned on, it shows only 847 songs.

More importantly, I download my songs on a reputable site or copy them to the library after ripping a CD. I'd like to keep things simple. Is it possible that I can watch all the songs (batch) to see if there are some who does not recognize the drive?

    2. my drive is set to shuffle, but I noticed some songs seem more that they must keep coming.  Someone here on another thread said that if the songs are too deeply rooted that they won't play. Doesn't make any sense to me. How can a song be too strong that he won't play?

The "rocket" gave me no problems so far, except the 13 mysterious songs, he won't play.

    Thanx.

    1. Check if you have an 'Unknown' category in your lists of rapporteurs, and that the missing songs are there. If so, he can not read these songs ID3 tags, if they aren't being counted during the updating of the database. You'll have to edit these tags. Mp3Tag is a sweet little program that will make it easy. It's free, too.
    2. The function shuffle on these players leave a bit to be desired. There is no way for you to fix it.
  • 8 GB Fuze, do not recognize songs

First of all: I use a Mac, so to get songs on the player, I drag - move from one folder to another, which usually works until recently. He also tells me that I have about 1 GB of space left, so I have this excluded as the problem.

Now the problem: I transfer music on my Fuze (drag / move) and it's all good, so very good. Then, when I unplug to listen to the songs, they aren't there. ?!?! So I plug it again to check, and here they are! I checked to make sure that they were MP3s and they were, and they played very well in the folder of the rocket.

Any ideas on what could be the problem?

    Discover the ID3 tags

Bet you a whole bunch of songs known unknown.

See if you can find software tagging for Mac that will make ID3v2.3 tags. The last time I used iTunes on my PC, he always ID3v2.2, with no way to change this - maybe it's different on Mac.
