• Erase the old Cisco PIX beyond recovery

  I have an old Cisco PIX that has been configured with the VPN site - to many who have been migrated to a new ASA last year.  The same IP addresses, PSK, etc are still active on the SAA new config info stored in the PIX is still valid.  I want to erase the memory on the PIX beyond all recovery-ability, to the same specifications of DoD to erase hard drives.  I don't like leaving the ASA in a usable state after - it goes to the recycling center.  I'd like to open the case to remove internal parts.

  I am aware of the process to restore the default settings, but this process is secure?  If a hacker were to get the PIX may recover data deleted from memory?  Cisco certifies all process of erasing/destroying data securely?

  Cisco had a download that would actually crush flash with zeros that you could use. It is no longer available because this product is long after the end of life. Even if you had a copy, it is not spec compliant DoD for sanitation.

  Unfortunately, your option at this stage would be to open the casing and physically destroy the internal memory card.

  Is it possible to create an "event" pulled by a Javascript file to the level of records that can be caught in the trap by an Acrobat plug-in or application?

  In particular, I need an event that indicates that the download of annotation is implemented through collaboration SOAP (i.e. a level based sdkSOAPCollabSample.jsscript file).

  Looking through the Javascript documentation, I find no reference to the creation of custom events.  For example, event and EventListener objects appear to be limited to multimedia events.  The setAction() method is used only for WillClose, WillSave, DidSave, WillPrintand DidPrint of events.  What I need is the ability to create and raise an event at some point in my file to the folder level js, in particular, at the end of the this.enumerate () function, after all annotations have been downloaded so that my plugin can intercept the event "download in competition" and then, for example, display the toolbar comments and annotations.

  According to GKaiseril in the Scripting forum, where I already posted this question, "Yes, one can do [this], but the syntax will be dependent on what language your plugin is hardcoded.» You might want to ask this question in the Acrobat SDK forum".

  You should check into the Everio browser settings to check the ability of the data you are trying to burn. You should be able to move the DVD to the new PC.

  HM... I guess that the Cisco people know what they're taking everything. The AR5005 is a b/g card and there should be a good reason to not work with a router that is able (the E2000 is able g) g.

  first of all thank you for taking the time to read my post. I have a deployment in which requires the characteristic posture of controls for machines of VPN Cisco ISE. I know that logically once a machine on the LAN, Cisco ISE can detect and apply controls posture on clients with the Anyconnect agent but what about VPN machines? The VPN will end via a VPN concentrator, which then connects to an ASA5555X that is deployed as an IPS only. Are there clues to this?

  The Cisco ASA Version 9.2.1 supports the change in RADIUS authorization (CoA) (RFC 5176). This allows for the gesticulations of users against the ISE Cisco VPN without the need of an IPN. Once a VPN user connects, the ASA redirects web traffic to the LSE, where the user is configured with a Network Admission Control (NAC) or Web Agent. The agent performs specific controls on the user's computer to determine its conformity against one together configured posture rules, such as the rules of operating system (OS) patches, AntiVirus, registry, Application, or Service.

  The posture validation results are then sent to the ISE. If the machine is considered the complaint, then the ISE can send a RADIUS CoA to the ASA with the new set of authorization policies. After validation of the successful posture and CoA, the user is allowed to access internal resources.

Please make sure your system is online and try again." After a minute the system back to work without nothing action. I saw the newspapers MIVR and not identify the possible cause of the problem.

• Cannot connect the switch Cisco Cisco SG300 - 28 p spend and traffic through VLANS

  Try to connect the Cisco SG300 - 28 p switch to another switch and proceed 2 VLANS between them.  Not doing any circuit.  If I connect a computer to the port on the SG300 - 28 p I can access the VLAN 2 and take a DHCP address. However, when I connect to another switch on the port and connect it to a port on another switch secondary I am unable to access VLAN 2 and pull an IP address.  I checked that the works of secondary switch (WS-C3560G-48PS-S) connected to the other 3500 s, but not this latest SG300 - 28 p.  Here's the configuration for both, I'm leaving areas that shouldn't matter and add if necessary.  Try to connect the SG300 - 28 p Port 26-WS-C3560 Port 1 port.  Once again, if I connect a computer to port 26 on the SG300 - 28 p I access the VLAN 2 as expected, but not when I connect to channel 2 on the secondary switch.

  Yes, STP is the problem here. As you can see on your release of the Cisco 3500 switch, port Gi0/1 is BKN (The FEW is a shortened form of "Broken").

  This is caused by an incompatibility of versions PLEASE used between the two switches. Small businesses (including series SG300) switches are use legacy STP or Rapid STP (your case), but uses templates to business (such as catalyst 3500) PVST + (each VLAN spanning tree version of STP).

  Two versions between group of switches are compatible only under certain conditions. Important condition is that the two switchports needs to use a VLAN 1, vlan access/native and not any other number VLAN.

  It is to make your communication work, you must:

  • disable the STP at least 3500 Cisco switch:
    • on overall global (Switch (config) # no vlan spanning tree 2)
    • or by the base interface (switch(config-if) # no vlan spanning tree 2)
  • change the configuration of your connection between two switches by following the path:
    • change the switchport trunk (trunk switchport mode) mode
    • do 1 VLAN as native vlan (vlan switchport trunk native 1)
    • Towing VLAN 2 as vlan tagged on that Stump (switchport trunk allow vlan add 2)

• Import batch of the NAS Cisco Secure v2.6?

  We run Cisco Secure v2.6 & want to add all our routers in as "Network access servers" so that we can authenticate NT accounts.

  The problem we have is not with the configuration but the addition of some 300 routers - quite a long process I'm sure you can imagine!

  Anyway is batch import all of these routers - in a similar way to the users? Tried passing the various parameters in the URL, but this doesn't seem to work (think theres some smart java EFS it or aomething).

  Any suggestions would be received gratefull!

  (CiscoSecure ACS database command line Utility), CSutil can also be used to import the NAS devices. It will import from a text file that lists the NAS so devices that their (local significance only) host name, ip address, key and Protocol.

  This is a sample file represents the syntax/format used for this import:

  Here we see two NAS devices listed - ROUTER1 and ROUTER2, both using the key "Cisco", and the ip addresses are easy enough to identify it. And since ROUTER1 lists the parameter ' CISCO_T + ', it will be imported as using Ganymede +; We see a similar format to the NAS ROUTER2, which will be imported as using RADIUS.

  With the keyword "ONLINE" at the beginning of the file, the NAS devices will be imported while ACS is still running. It is a slow process, but it allows importing unfold without downing the ACS server. If you want to interrupt the services ACS temporarily while you perform this import, you can replace 'OFFLINE' to 'ONLINE '. Importation would complement then much faster.

  So the first task would be to build a text file using the format above, and for our example, we will say this file was named fred.txt. Once this file is created, you will need to copy this file in the following directory:

  C:\Program Files\CiscoSecure ACS v2.6\Utils

  And then at a command prompt, navigate to the same directory and run this command:

  CSUtil-i fred.txt

• The AG Cisco 1130 - disable Radio FastEthernet

  I was looking through a 1130AG trying to stop radio stations for a day to test. I acceded to these via the web browser. I disabled the A and B/G radios since the location and then went to another location and disabled the FastEthernet (wired) connection. I want to back up these radio and now I can't access the web interface because I disabled the wireless connection. Can anyone help please get out and direct me where to go next door to activate the radios on the access point (without reset if all goes well) and without the ability to access through the web interface based on?

  Cisco IOS command modes

  Safari sidebar slips into view, move the mouse to the left or by clicking on the icon in the toolbar.

  There are 3 menus through the albums has only 2 3 show any color.  This is part of the new flat design, minimal color (a bit like side bar of the Finder)

  Occasionally various websites have forms to fill out. Frequently, the password field and the ability to paste from the Clipboard is disabled. Since I use a password manager and generate passwords as mN0ZJ1Pj (generated example for display) she would like to be able to paste the password because there is less tendency for me for spelling errors.

• Caught in the trap in the loop of Windows Update

  Automatic installation of updates causes computer find themselves trapped in loop waving the circle and the Configuration of the State: 3/3 (the percentage complete locks to 0).  After a period of time (1-2 minutes), the computer restarts and immediately displays the same update status screen.  He continues again and again this cycle.

  I can restore the computer to an earlier date, successfully, but if I let Windows Update automatically download a new update, I'm trapped in the loop do even once.

  Try this: change your update settings and find the problem.

  Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

  Click Start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window
