  • Is there a better way to make?  (Do not ask about codecs)

I use CS6.  I noticed you can import AE PrPro files and vice versa, and you can also render with Media Encoder.  One of these better to render some than the other?  For example, if you use an AE animation in PrPro is it better to make the animation, and then import the video file to PrPro or to simply import the project AE go to PrPro and make all at once?  Or is it better to make everything with Media Encoder?  Or is it all just based applications?

Adobe Media Encoder (SOUL) is ideal for creating files for final delivery. Make or export directly from After Effects are better for the creation of 'utility' exports, such as sequences of OpenEXR images for use as intermediaries in a multi-application workflows. Adobe Media Encoder is better exporting to final delivery (MPEG-2, H.264, etc), and it also has a much better user interface for navigation, creating and applying presets encoding. After effects script capabilities, can use multiprocessing for the rendering phase and can use the GPU to speed up rendering 3D drawn with RADIUS.

My standard workflow for final rendering and export that takes advantage of the benefits of the two applications is to make a file encoded without loss of control of After Effects and have entering a watch folder for SOUL pick up and encode into different formats of delivery. Who uses AFter Effects to its faster rendering and the SOUL for its faster encoding.

  • How can I get the Basic for Windows Media Player codec pack?

original title: green screen recently started in windows media player for Vista 64-bit.

It works very well for some videos (like those recorded uncompressed, or some codecs) but a single codec that I save it as coming out of Sony Vegas (Windows Media video V11) goes green screen with playback of the sound. How can I get the basic for 64-bit Windows Media Player codec pack? It worked perfectly for several years now on this machine. Suddenly, it does not work. Last time that I used it very well if a few months ago.

  • Vista video codecs problems

I was directed here to ask this question, by admin.
«After that 18 months using Ubuntu, and then buy scammed to ot try a second Windows 7 license my laptop has its origin back to Vista Home Premium.»  It is a recovery disc, it is a Toshiba Equium L40.
After the luxury of Windows 7 and Ubuntu, I'm running many codecs, it seems.  Media Player will not play some files converted avi (my Flip camcorder mp4 files converted) even if it's a Windows thing.  also, when I look in the tabs of the properties of a video file, a flow which should be in the area of 10 000 to 20 000 kbit/s in general, said a tenth of that, where the same file looked in Windows 7 on my desktop pc (genuine license and original media bought from Comet in the United Kingdom) the flow is correct.  I have installed Vista service packs and updates.
Can I fix this easily?  I think I remember try a third-party codec pack once before this resolves things, and I'm also suspicious of the resources these things about viruses etc..  At Microsoft itself corrected this with a trustworthy codec pack perhaps?

  • Media Player cannot play, need to video codec not installed. What codec? Where do I get it? How to install it?

Media Player cannot play, need to video codec not installed.  What codec?  Where do I get it? How to install it?

    Hello

The video codec that is required to decode and display the video can not be installed on your computer.

Today, there are hundreds of audio and video codecs in use. Some were created by Microsoft, but the vast majority of codecs have been created by other companies, organizations or individuals. By default, the Windows operating system and the player includes a number of the most popular codecs, such as MP3, Windows Media Audio and Windows Media Video.

    Method 1.
How to determine what codec is installed and how to install it automatically?
    a. to determine what codec was used with a specific file, play the file in the player, if possible. When the file is playing, right-click the file in the library, and then click Properties.
    b. on the file tab, look at the sections of video codec and Audio codec.
Download and install the Codecs by going to the PLAYER tab and check.
    c. connect you to the Internet and Download Codecs automatically.
For more information about codecs, see the articles below:
    Codecs: Frequently asked questions
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/codecs-frequently-asked-questions

    Method 2.
If you know the name of the codec or its ID (called a id FourCC for video codecs or a WaveFormat identifier for audio codecs), try the search on the Internet. Often, you can go to the codec manufacturer's Web site to download the latest version of a codec.

  • change default audio codec

    Hello.

Just a simple question about codec audio default on SX80 (TC7.3) H.323 call. Is it somehow possible to change the type of codec to alaw ulaw G.711?

    Thank you.

    Marcel

I don't think you can change the default value and still have the other optional availalble.  However, you can use a filter Capset(2) to restrict the use of a particular codec, so it is not getting used to everything.

    Hi rutledgerick,

    Thanks for posting on answers.microsoft.com

You try to get your Microsoft Links 2001 to play on your new computer.

When I try to get a program to run on a system, it is always a good idea to try to run the program in compatibility mode or verify its compatibility.
