  Your question is not quite clear to me, but this sentence "I can click on" show/hide elements "for the mouse, the text caption and select box to show or hide the slide." is ring a Bell! Have you used the "eye" icon in the timeline panel to "hide" the objects? That is not intended to hide the version published, only to temporarily hide for editing purposes, have has too many objects on the slide. If you really want to hide an object permanently, so it does not appear after the publication or during a preview (play Slide is not a preview, is also only for editing, synchronization) you must use the 'other' "eye" icon you will find at the top left of the properties of this object Panel. Quite confusing to have twice the same button to completely different purpose (there is even a third version in Drag Drop & who still has another feature, just hide the links in the D & D).

  I have a Csh Script Unix which is essentially:

  Are you sure that the master slide panel is not active panel instead of the film? This is the only case where the themes button is dimmed (and option display themes in the themes menu as well).

  I recently installed Firefox 4.0. With the exception of a few hiccups, everything is fine, except for one thing: there is no Firefox button. Instead, it has all the menus of the same as in previous versions of Firefox. I couldn't find anything in tools = > options to change this.

• Problem exporting? : objects in front or on the upper layers are not displayed when exporting to jpeg or png

  It's very strange. The image looks perfect on board art .ai. But, when I try to export the image (in jpeg or png format), one of the objects which is clearly backward masks in front of other objects. I tried transfer to different layers to ensure that it wasn't one thing front to back, and it's the same problem.  When I changed the color to the front (or on the top layer) object from white to a color, it resembles a kind of effect/appearance/transparency problem goes away, but there is no transparency applied to each of the objects. They are all natural and 100% opacity.

  This is the banner of solid color behind the type indicated (see below) which is the problem. I tried regular objects (instead of specified type and same problem.) I just upgraded to the latest version of Illustrator, no luck.

• Why the Home Menu will not display when setting up my new BDP S5100?

  I'm trying to get a new BDP-S5100 connected to my tv (a 4-year-old Panasonic plasma HDTV).  The TV can read it is connected to a Sony Blu - Ray device, but will Dim while the player says 'Home'  Pressing 'Home' on the remote control DVD displays nothing.  The remote control seems to work very well for turning on and off and will load and play a disc but no image on the screen.

  The cable seems fine.  After several versions of "turn it on again", including disconnect them the HDMI cable and power sources in orders different, still no go.  We just reconnected the older Blu - Ray player and it works fine.

  Any ideas?

To do this, I installed MozBackup on my old Win2k laptop, used to back up my full profile on my flash drive, then installs the flash drive for the new PC Toshiba laptop with Win7, installed on the Toshiba and used MozBackup restoring a profile feature to import the profile saved from the flash drive. This, even though it was on a Win7 system, worked like a champ. However... Later, I tried to import the same profile of Firefox on my WinXP turn, but I didn't see any results after import: empty, empty bookmarks bar bookmarks, even the home page would not display when Firefox is opened.

     When I realized that everything was set OK and everything else was working, but nothing in Firefox (v32.0) was working as it should, I used Revo Uninstaller to completely uninstall v32, then I installed version 23. That Firefox version happily accepted the profile import, the Bookmarks & Bookmarks toolbar displayed the imported Bookmarks, and the home page displayed when Firefox opened.

  Given that Firefox 12 was the last version of Firefox that was compatible with W2K, you were restoring via MozBackup profile to a very old version in Firefox 32. Chance to shear it worked with Firefox 23.
