access denied with Outlook file.

We installed the file server and domain on windows 2003 R2 SP2. Adhered to all users and all cards ready to store data and Messaging.
May 1 month a go we know not why. Customers sometimes there when they start outlook (2003,2007) open, Outlook cannot fine or access denied on the file stored in the disk of the card. but card reader folder can be accessed to drop normal when exploring on it. But when we try using remote desktop remotely to the file server or DC until it was connected and then Outlook and can access normal.
I really know that something happen with my server and remote with the email client desktop this file access on the file server.

For safety use Bit defender network license

  • Some files have transformed a 'green' color, others are the normal 'black' - access denied to 'green' files

Some files on my external hard drive (MS office files) are suddenly inaccessible - I get an 'access denied' and the files are "green." Not all the files have changed. I have not changed all permissions. I have home access to the full administrator on this laptop.

I use Windows Vista Home premium.

Can someone help me with this please.

I've never heard of a file becoming green before - it may be a security program or another program third-party (I don't think it's Vista).  The best thing to do is to check and change the permissions and if necessary take possession of the files/folders.  Do you have a third-party suite (or anti-virus program) security or firewall program (if so, what name and which version)?  Here is an example of a program that causes the problem to deny access AND lights up green files: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/how-to-encrypt-your-computers-hard-disk-data-and-files-for-free/.

To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/.

To resolve this problem with folders, appropriating the files or the drive (as an administrator) and give you all the rights.  Right-click on the folder/drive, click Properties, click the Security tab and click on advanced and then click the owner tab.  Click on edit, and then click the name of the person you want to give to the property (you may need to add if it is not there--or maybe yourself). If you want that it applies to subfolders and files in this folder/drive, then check the box to replace the owner of subcontainers and objects, and click OK.  Back and now there is a new owner for files and folders/player who can change the required permissions.  You can change now switched to read-only (even if the main folder indicates that they are always read-only - you can access yourself as the owner).  You can keep them in read-only to other users, customers and administrators even (although they can support themselves and access, if they wish, and it is really not that you can do to stop it except protect the file with a password by using a 3rd party product.)  Here is more information on the ownership of a file or a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67717-take-ownership-file.html.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

  • "Access denied" when opening files on my 1 TB HARD drive

Well, then I'll start from the beginning.

I have a Seagate 1 TB HDD, I use it for recording with my HDPVR and all my video editing effects and more. Well, on my old computer, Windows XP, I got some weird settings there that all my encrypted files. I tried to put it off, but he wouldn't.
In any case, I got a new laptop, it's an ASUS with Windows 7 Home Premium. I'm trying to use some of the files that I used my old computer and put on it.
Well, when I open pictures and videos it gives me an error message. To summarize the message because it is different for different types of files. Basically it's saying that I cannot access the files because I do not have the right permissions. With .txt files it won't let me save.
I already did the thing where you go to properties, security, etc.
    Any help?

  • FTP error. Access denied. The file does not exist (only on the roots)?

    Having a strange problem.

I just installed CS 5.5 and got one of my sites all over the place. I can connect to my remote server very well and download to any directory other than the root?

If I do, then I get this error (see below). This happens only when I try and put the files at the root, don't know why. I tried all the little things like:

    -liability of the rocker

    -site to redefine

    .....

I can use any other FTP program and I can not put the files in the ROOT, so it's just a thing of dreamweaver 5.5. I also tried my Dreamweaver CS3 on my old mac and it works like a charm!

  • Custom form of OAF - access denied with code 400

We get this question after the deployment of OFA custom forms in our development environment.

Error in the apache log shows:

    [error] [client 28.1.6.95] mod_security: access denied with code 400. Pattern match. ^ ([-__ | #! = A-Za-z0-9 / :,.$()]) {0,255} ([-_ | #! = A-Za-z0-9 /:,. $ ()]) {0,255} ' $' in ARGS_NAMES.])

We conducted last autoconfig and no change. Recorded a SR.

I guess others have seen this issue in R12.1.3.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Issue lies in the ARGS_NAME parameter.  Comment security.conf of httpd.conf and follow the steps below. Custom forms OFA work without problems.

    1. Please stop services

    2 backup $ORA_CONFIG_HOME/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/conf/httpd.conf

    3. comment out the following line

    include "/... /... /.ora/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/conf/security.conf.

After his comments it should look like this

    #include ' /... /... /.ora/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/conf/security.conf.

4 restart the services and test again the question

  • Access denied for each file

    Dear all

    I hope you do well.

Please let me know if you can help me with the following problem.

I have a laptop with windows vista home premium, I only C & D drives, only a single user.
in front of a low, I added new standard user called HARNOIS, no administrator and I edited the security option for the D drive, and I REFUSED all permissions for this user 'HARNOIS', which means HAMZEH may not access anything on the D drive.
then after a day, I deleted account HARNOIS and then I tried to restore everything as before, but unfortunately my (Administrator) account, I encountered ERROR of ACCESS DENIED, I tried to take possession of each folder and then apply a full permission and subfolder and files in this folder, but the problem is the following:
I need to change the option of advanced security for each file in this folder, nothing to apply at once, instead, I have to file-by-file and I have a large number of files in each folder.

so, how can I restore my previous setting at a time.

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards

    Faisal

  • Any attempt to create results by "Access denied" error zip file

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  I am logged in as administrator.  UAC is not active on this machine.

Any attempt to create a zip file results in a dialog box stating "unable to complete the operation.  Access is denied. "
If I select a file or group of files/folders, do a right click and say 'Send to Zip', I get this error.  Interestingly, while the error dialog box is still open, the zip file will be displayed in the current folder.  Clicking OK in the box dialog error cancels the dialog box and deletes the zip file.
This seems to be some sort of permissions thing.  Can I create a zipfile by clicking right in the Explorer window by clicking on "new", then "compressed (zipped) folder", and it will create the file very well.  I can even give it a name.  Any attempt to copy anything in this new zip file generates an error "file not found or no read permission.  Try to delete the zip file says 'you need permission from administrators to make changes to this file.
So now, I open the properties for the zip file and go to the Security tab.  It was there that I discovered that this file has no owner are entrusted to him.  I can then change owners, add my name as the owner of the file, assign full control to myself, apply the changes, and now the zip file can be read/written/removed normally.
So whenever I need to create a zip file, I have to go through the steps of creating-> change the properties of the-> Assign owner-> Apply-> add files to the Zip file.  It's a royal pain in the keester.
My question is: what changes to do to confide as the owner by default when a zip file is created?  This seems to happen with only zip files, any other type of file gives me this problem.  What happened since I got this computer brand new with Windows 7 64 - bit on it.  I can't say that it is a "Virgin" installation, he was photographed by a group of COMPUTER companies (I work for a fairly large company).  This group is a clue what happens and apparently others in our society do not report this problem.

Solved! The problem is with the permissions on the 'TEMP' directory which is used during the process of zip. See this announcement and scroll down to "more useful answer.

  • In Windows 7, signed as an administrator but get access denied to certain files and folders

I just started my new computer, set up my user profile and installed Quicken. He would not open the Ouicken backup file I had brought my old computer so I started looking for a solution and found that a number of files and folders have been marked read-only. Then, I started to change the file attributes to allow free access everywhere where I found them marked read-only. In some cases, there was an error message saying that the file could not be changed, so I ignored these files. In fact, my question is, why am I like the only user of this computer, being denied access to any file or folder? I gave myself (duh) administrator-level privileges, but Windows 7 does not recognize me as an administrator. Is there something that I missed when you set up Windows for the first time? Just a mess by changing the file attributes? Thank you.

In fact, my question is, why am I like the only user of this computer, being denied access to any file or folder? attributes? Thank you.

There are at least two issues here. First, Windows 7 uses a structure of different folders for pre-Vista versions and while there are files and folders whose names are the same as those used in XP, they are NOT records in the true sense of the word - they are JUNCTION points to which any user has not access - there is no point. Documents and Settings is one of these junction points - this is to allow existing applications that use the old pre to win 7 folder structure to run in Windows 7. See here for more information about junction points:

    http://www.Svrops.com/Svrops/articles/jpoints.htm

Secondly, I think you will see that the records that you have thought we have read-are not only in fact. A folder with the read-only BLUE box is NOT dead, and it's the standard attribute for folders in Windows 7. A read-only file or folder has a CHECKMARK in the read-only box, not a blued outlet box.
