  • IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity says no Internet access

My computer says that it has access to the internet but when I use a browser it does not work. Also Ipv4 and Ipv6 connectivity says no internet access, and at the launch of the troubleshooting, it indicates that the DNS server is not responding. So there are a lot of problems.

    Hello

    Internet works with IPv4.

I can't give a targeted response as you have not provided technical information on how you connect to the Internet and devices that are involveved.

    In general.

Check the Device Manager for the entry of valid card of the wire.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_dm.jpg

If there is no valid entry, remove any entry from fake and re - install the drivers for the wireless card.

Check network connections to make sure that you have a Local Area Connection icon/entry, and that the properties of the icon (right-click on the icon) are correctly configured with the TCP/IPv4 protocol in the properties of network connections.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_connection_tcp.jpg

Connect you to the menu of the router from a work computer and make sure DHCP is on, and it is configured to assign IPs which can cover the number of computers that are connected (a bit more will be even better).

Turn off the computer and the router, reset the router and the computer.

Right-click on the wireless network connection card, select status, details and see if she got an IP address and the rest of the settings.

It still does not work, try this too.

    Firewall software.

Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall Windows Firewall should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions

    General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#trusted
Please note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly, or uninstall it completely allowing the clean flow of traffic on the local network. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .

    Reset the network stacks .

Type Cmd in the search text box.

Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run a command as administrator prompt.  Allow the elevation.

Type netsh winsock reset at the command prompt and press the Enter key.

Do the same process to refresh the TCP/IP, just replace the command typed with.

    netsh int ip reset

    Restart the computer.

Desktop computer Win XP is connected to a local network (via ethernet) and recognized.  Shared files can be exchanged on the local network.  The Win XP computer was temporarily moved to a different location and an installed wireless adapter.  Two weeks later the Win XP computer was returned to the original location, removed wireless adapter and related to the uninstalled software.  Now the Win XP computer accesses the internet (via ethernet), but is not visible on the local network.  Win XP sees no other computers and other computers do not see the Win XP.  Trying to troubleshoot the network.  Troubleshooting the "1394 connection" gave a TCP/IP message has not been activated.  Check the 'properties' found that the 'Internet (TCP/IP) Protocol' is checked.  Is there another place where TCP/IP must be enabled?  Maybe a checkbox?

Thanks for the help.  Unfortunately, I tried two suggestions, all of the above steps, and nothing has fixed my problem.  However, during the process of going through the steps in the "http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308007/en-us", I discovered "Microsoft Fix - it Solution Center".  Treatment of the symptoms of MS Fix - it network provided an instant repair the problem.  I still don't know what exactly was the problem, but now all computers can see each other on the LAN.

  • IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity

I have wireless and connected displays IPv4 and IPv6 No. Inernet. Both can I or how can I connect to IPv6

At this point, you do not have * need * IPV6 and is not something you need to worry. At some point in the future, IPV6 will become a big problem, but most of the devices now are not actively using it.

    I hope this helps.

Note: If you Google IPV6 you can find a lot of information about this.

  • Cisco easy VPN access Internet without Split Tunnel

    Hey guys

IM wondering if anyone has a config that can help me get access to internet via an easy vpn tunnel on a cisco 877 router.

Basically, we are traveling to be users able to use the internet through vpn, rather than using split tunneling. The reason for this is that we have several sites that are attached by lists of external IP access for some services.

We hope that mobile users to interact with these sites through the central router and use external IP of access routers secure sites.

I hope that makes sense. I know that we can use a proxy but we also use other services of bases no proxy on these sites, it would be rather routed direct access.

    Thank you

    Hi Luke,.

Please use the installation of the client VPN (complete tunnel) link below.

First of all, there is problem when I played the game on 'brightness (MySpace link); PC seems to crash and the problem has continued since then.

I have no idea what to do and I'm a bit of a novice.  In addition, have physical difficulties which slows me down or interferes with the ability to work through problems.

Applications and links of Facebook can be very dangerous. Please start with the basics to ensure that you are working from a clean base. You will need to obtain the tools of a different, known-clean computer with access to the Internet and put them on a USB stick to transfer to the affected machine.

If you can't do the work yourself (and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea), take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). If possible, have all your data backed up before taking the machine into a shop.

Help cannot access internet without using safe mode

    Hi Dharrington25,

-Remember to make changes to your computer after that this problem started to happen?

As you are able to access the Internet using the safe, put your computer in a clean boot state in order to identify the program causing this problem.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

    Hello

I am trying to connect to my work network, but there is a problem with the connection. It says that I'm connected and everything seems fine. It's not until I want to browse the internet when I have problems. For example, if I go to google and enter a query it gives me results, but once I have selected an option, it shows the "cannot display this page, please check your internet connection..." "I run the troubleshooter and it is not able to find a problem. Then I go to my network and sharing Center and look at the status of wireless conncetion and I noticed, it says:

    IPv4 connectivity: No internet access

    IPv6 connectivity: Internet

  • IPv6, no access Internet connectivity.

IPv6 connectivity does not connect porperly. There just not say no internet access. We have now no internet access IPv6... We have a desktop computer, which is the main computer and 4 latops. All windows 7.  We have a router "Netgear".

If you do not have an ISP providing IPv6 or tunnel provider, as mentioned in my
previous answer, then what you say is normal. the output of the ipconfig/all command
    help to determine this.
