  What antivirus you have installed before? Is the virus/malware-free system? If you have a current antivirus installed and you went through at least some of the malware removal steps I list in the link I have given if you are sure that the system is clean, uninstall McAfee and see if that solves your problem. If you connect to the Internet behind a router, you can be sure for this quick test. If you are connected directly to a cable/dsl modem, then firstly download Avast or even Microsoft Security Essentials (both free). Then, disconnect from the Internet and uninstall McAfee. Install the antivirus of your choice and test. If all goes well, your problems have been caused by McAfee. This is not surprising since McAfee is perhaps the worst choice for safety, we could do.

  If you had any antivirus installed before McAfee, then you must go through all stages of thorough removal of malware listed in the my link before anything else. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  You need not install older versions in order to get the last update enabled.  During the CS4 activation process, you can specify the eligible previous version (choose the oldest among a list, then enter its serial number).  Choose any one you had just before CS4.

  As others have had it, I had the same problem with Add-ons compatibility check after upgrading firefox. He has never progressed so I ended up following the steps, others responded to other issues by removing compatibility under the profile folder files, and other files. None which seemed to work. I found myself completely remove firefox and reinstall, but which did not help. I really need to install firebug, but when I try to download it just hangs up and never even begin to download. Hope this is enough detail. Thank you.

  I think it was more a problem with the Mavericks. I expect the next update and it finally did after that I asked this question. Everything seems to be back to normal now.

  I had two modules different twitter (Twitbin and App Twitter). The first was one that I enabled again, because I wanted to see if it has improved for some time. After restarting my browser, however, most of my toolbars have been on different parameters. I managed to get my bookmarks toolbar, showing once again. However, now:
  -I can click on "Customize" under the tools, but the page appears empty (if any)
  -the orange "firefox" button at the top left disappeared
  -menu button (three horizontal lines) disappeared

  In addition, restarting somehow messed up my manager's Session module. It lists my tabs/windows have saved, but they never load.

  I searched everywhere, but have not found any real answers (page customize and SM have been the most frustrating of all this). I completely remove the add-on twitter, I chose not to use, but it changed nothing about how it was.

  I also had the issue. It seems that it is a problem with cookies. So what I did to solve the problem was to do the following (I use Firefox 30.0 with the add-on to make it look like the old Firefox):

  1. Go to Options (either with the key or tools-> options)
  2. Click the Privacy tab
  3. Click The remove individual Cookies
  4. I deleted all cookies, but maybe it's not necessary to do what you could just delete cookies from Yahoo to return to Yahoo groups.
  5. I went back to Yahoo groups and was able to go to my groups.
