• Accessories HomeKit does not at home, but work outside.

  I recently got a new Signal of Hunter ceiling fan, which is one of the first active HomeKit fans. I went through the installer on my iPhone 7 more for the fan about 20 times. Each time, installation works and the fan is controllable for about 1-5 minutes each time. Then the two buttons for the fan and light are starting to appear 'No response' on them. By clicking on the buttons, surprise, has no effect on the fan or light.

  I have my Apple TV (4th generation) Setup as a hub. I also tried setting to the top of my iPad as a hub. Nor has helped get my fan work. However... today we were shopping, and I happened to pull up the control center. I noticed that Photonics and fan buttons is no longer says "No response" and typed a. After a few seconds, the fan button said it was now on. Then I tried the light. Same positive reaction. I played with them a few moments and everything seemed to work... except that I couldn't be sure, because, you know, I was not at home.

  So, when I got home, I tried again... back to 'No response' on the buttons. What the devil? So I then turned off the wifi on my phone and guess what? The "No Response" disappeared and the fan and light work.

  So there is something when my iphone is on my own wifi network, it cannot speak to the HomeKit accessories. That makes no sense at all. Why would it be? Is there something on my router I need to unlock it (even if I looked and did not find anything which is blocked).

  I contacted the support team for the fan again. But I'm starting to think it's something with the iPhone, not the fan. Oh, and HomeKit opening on the iPad does not work internally either.

  To review your post, you have configured your Signal Hunter ceiling fan in your HomeKit and use your AppleTV and iPad as hubs. Your iPhone 7 more on iOS 10.0.2 intermittently becomes a message 'no response' when you try to control your ceiling fan with it but it worked fine while you were away from home. It is apparently only at home and I'll be happy to help you to get this working properly.

  If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi-Fi network - I found that iOS devices and a home network can stop talking to each other. Follow the steps in this article to ensure that your home's Wi - Fi signal is strong and consistent.

  The battery for the new mouse will last several weeks.   It will give you up to 9 hours with a charge of two minutes.   Obviously, you need to use it as stated in your purchase, but it is very flexible and my mouse, connected to the charger will charge in about an hour.   And it will last for several weeks, as I said.

  However, I'm not sure if serial numbers Earpod works at this link. I think it's more for products such as Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, MacBook etc rather than accessories for these devices.

  I have Firefox 26. I want to use FolderLink to send large attachments. FolderLink instructions tell me to go to tools, Options, accessories, outgoing and choose my storage provider (in my case Dropbox) in a menu drop-down. When I go to tools, Options, there is that any "attachments" label to click and there is nothing in either of the options which seems to lead to this menu drop-down. FolderLink instructions say that it is supposed to work on all above Firefox 13 or 16. How to make it possible to send a large file (in this case audio) via Firefox?

  arpopkin, the instructions you found is for the Thunderbird email client and not the Firefox web browser. There is no FolderLink in Firefox.

• iPod Touch 5 Gen - iOS 9.3.1 lightning connector issues - with accessories

  Has anyone seen a problem using iOS 9.3.1 on an iPod Touch 5th generation with lightning connector devices?  Specifically, I use the iPod in a cradle of scanner which connects via the connector of the lightning, until iOS 9.3.1 the cradle was visible to the application, but once it has been updated the scanner loses communication to the iOS device and application.  IPod charge and connect to iTunes, no problem, but refuses to see the cradle, I have another iPod on an older version of iOS, which connects to the cradle even without problem.

  To try to find, I've updated the iOS to 9.3.2 beta fault from the site of the developer, this problem has now fixed the issue with the cradle.  I can't that assume Apple broke the connection in iOS 9.3.1?

  Sometimes an iOS update breaks compatibility with accessories. Since then, he has worked with next beta which seems to be the cause.
