accident of' Runtime '.
I have a problem with a LabView executable file compiled for LV 6.1: it works without problems on a PC that has just installed 6.1 LV Runtime Engine, but it crashes (no error message) to another computer with a complete installation of LV 8.5 and motors DURATION to 8.5, 8.2, 7.1, 7.0, and 8.0 6.1. On the 2nd machine, I installed Runtime Engine 6.1 last, because I got the error message about the engine missing when I tried to run the executable in question. After installing the runtime, I no longer get the message error, but after a brief moment (before the first GUI opens) the executable crashes quietly. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem (restart the PC does not have the resolve BTW)? According to the information I found on the Web site so far nor engines of execution of different versions of LV are supposed to run in parallel without problem.
Regarding my config: MS Windows 2003, Standard Edition SP2
Matthias,
I'm afraid that you are facing problems of compatibility with the operating system. Windows Server 2003 has never been tested with any Version of LV.
Read the LV 8.6 ReadMe file, it says:
LabVIEW supports Windows Vista/XP/2000. LabVIEW does not support Windows NT/Me/98/95, none of the Windows Server or Windows XP x 64 editions. LabVIEW does support Windows Vista x 64.
Because your system is running on Windows Server 2003 (since you had not replied to my questionmark in the last post, I think that it is a fact) you're lucky that the most recent application is running.
Please note that 'not supported' means: it has never been tested and that is why it might work, but if not, NOR provides any support.
The only solution to your problem is to move to an OS that LV RTE 6.1 has been tested on. the most recent operating system I think has been tested (although not sure) is Windows XP.
hope this helps,
Norbert

LabView Runtime Engine 7.0 trys to install at the start
This just started happening, everything was fine a few days ago. Now when I click on the ICON of the LabVIEW office he says he wants to install the runtime of 7.0. And application of disc #3 do I need this? Finally after the cancellation of the guests for a few minutes, that it loads my opinion lab and my screws appear to work well.
I, m using the edition of the 8.6 students,.
Any ideas?
Thank you

Alan,
The lvruntimeeng.msi that you said that your program is to research usually resides in your folder to install drivers with a path like this:
Downloads\NI-DAQmx\
\NIDAQ C:\National instruments - 1\Products\LabVIEW_Runtime_Engine_71\LV711RTE Mine is exactly this way:
C:\National Instruments Downloads\NI-DAQmx\9.0.2\NIDAQ902-1\Products\LabVIEW_Runtime_Engine_71\LV711RTE
The 7.1 that runtime is particularly well named "lvruntimeeng.msi". The 8.0 is named "lv80runtime.msi" and 8.2 is "lv82runtime.msi" and so on. Since we can not install this RTE 7.1 because you have a more recent version installed, please check the name of the path described above to see if your 7.1 MSI runtime is there. Maybe even search to see if it is present everywhere on the system.
Otherwise, we can uninstall and reinstall your DAQmx drivers and reinstall them because they will each Run - time Engine MSI.
Clearly, there was an accident of file structure and these can generally only be remedied by reinstalling completely the programs installed initially the files.

Writing DAQmx invoke node leads to a runtime error (R6025 - pure virtual function call)
I have a request in which a Subvi DAQmx writing calls calling node (shift of writing and reading NumChans).
When I launch LabVIEW and the main VI a first run, everything works fine. When I run a second time, LabVIEW crashes with a runtime to Scripture DAQmx error call node:
R6025 - pure virtual function callThe LabVIEW failure log file contains the following lines:
c:\builds\penguin\labview\branches\Saturn\dev\source\compiler\allocsup.cpp(662): DWarn: dataspace moved running!
$Id: //labview/branches/Saturn/dev/source/compiler/allocsup.cpp#18 $Anyone has any idea how this accident could be avoided?
Problem solved: we have just removed the line NumChan (read) from the node to invoke and readded it again. Now, it works fine.

Nobody seems to have a fix for 'Visual C++ runtime library error'
I searched this forum and others on how to solve this problem. Many of them are old and are intended for a different platform than what I use, Windows Vista. Others are in a situation very much like mine, but their questions or have not met does not help. I am hoping there is someone out there who really knows how to solve this problem.
I tried to open files in PhotoShop (which I did thousands of times before and at least a few times already in this particular session without problems) when an error pops up saying something like "Runtime error...windows/rundll.exe." I don't know exactly what he says because before I can even click OK a new error appears saying:
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error!
Program C:\Windows\Explorer.exeabnormal termination of the program.
When I clicked OK on that error, Windows Explorer restarts and the same mistakes appear as before, several times. If I do not click OK on the second, I can use my computer normally, but there is always a tab in the toolbar for this error. I rebooted the computer and the same mistakes came as soon as I logged. I ran various spyware detectors and Windows Defender, etc. and they found an 'object' which I removed and I still get these errors. It seems that the problem isn't with PhotoShop, but Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer), and even if many "bugs" say to delete and reinstall different programs, I don't know if this is possible with Windows Explorer.
I would be sincerely grateful someone who is willing to help me with this problem.
You have a blockage (explore is waiting for something or going in circles) was no accident. Crashes do not have a lot of diagnostic information.
This could give a clue.
Hang the Diagnostics
It is a long shot for useful information - it is useful to the programmer, but worth a try for mortals in case it is something obvious.
Download http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/what_is_hang.html and extract the files.
Make a right click WhatIsHang.exe - Properties - unblock (repetition to help file - WhatIsHang.chm). Start the program by right-clicking and choosing run as administrator.
When IE crashes go to WhatIsHang and select IE and press F9.
Then Edit menu - copy entire report. Paste into Notepad. Put on skydrive.
Download the file to your Public SkyDrive folder and copy the link in the address bar, and I'm going to do an analysis.
SkyDrive is the download file from Microsoft, Windows Live, at https://skydrive.live.com/site. Read about it at http://explore.live.com/skydrive.If you downloaded one of the Live applications or a web site based Live mail account, you already have access to your Skydrive.
Put your list of events in the Public folder and copy the link in the address bar.
Start - All Programs - Accessories - right on command prompt and choose run as administrator. Type (or copy and paste by clicking in the command prompt window and choose Paste). Then configure the command prompt. Right-click on the tab of the titlebar - Properties - Layout command prompt - and enter 1000 screen buffer size height and 43 (or 50) to Window Dimensions height. Change the color (color tab) and the police (police tab), if you want.It comes to tell me the name of the mpeg file.dir '% userprofile%\desktop\*.mp* '.If you are comfortable editing the threshold, try to remove it. I want to see the generated error. Just put the real filename by replacing the text in bold.del "%userprofile%\desktop\file name.mpeg. -

Runtime error in Mozilla after restoring computer to an earlier date,
I recently had to restore my computer to an earlier date. In doing so, Firefox went from 38.0.1 to 37.0.2. Now, I get the error "cannot find Mozilla runtime. I am out, trying to find a way to fix it. I have quite a few bookmarks that I prefer not to lose. I thought I could import to Internet Explorer but not had any luck with either. Have no solution? Thank you. I am posting this on another computer where is the problem. This computer is running Windows 8.1.
Using the system restore can cause your installation of Firefox get corrupted because only the whitelist files are restored, so always be careful with the system restore function.
- You may lose data in the profile Firefox as of .js and .ini files folder
- You may need to reinstall the affected software
Do a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.
- Download the installer of Firefox and save the file to the desktop
https://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/all/
If possible to uninstall your current version of Firefox to clean the Windows registry and settings in the security software.
- Do NOT remove the "personal data" when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data such as bookmarks and passwords including data profiles created by other versions of Firefox.
Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (Windows 64 bit) "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.
- It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.
Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but do NOT delete personal data when you uninstall Firefox which removes all Firefox profile folders and you lose your data.

Unable to send messages after the accident, the solutions proposed did not.
Tuesday (April 7), there was an update to 31.6. Thursday, there was an accident. Since that time cannot send messages. The proposed solutions did not work.
I get the message that the SMTP server does not support the selected authentication.
I tried the solution mentioned. But nothing helped. I configured the server out on the different types and remove the password as shown. After that, I did the configuration with different types of Setup again. No solution.
There is not a possibility of webmail. So I'm stuck now. There is no problem with incoming messages, they come. This password should be deleted also?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mozilla plugin status report says I need to update to Java Runtime Environment, and I'm on version 14.9.0. But when I download the update, all I get is 'Java 8 Update 40', which says that my computer is an older version. I can't find info on a later version of 14.9. I can't find this plugin in my computer-, it does not appear in the System Preferences window, or in the Applications folder (including utilities). How can I erase this upward? (Note: I have disabled the firewall).
As a Windows user, I have to plead ignorance on the specific details of Mac OS x. I hope you give you help Apple experts.

How to solve the error message "Mozilla cannot find runtime" when I try to start Firefox?
Mozilla put Firefox updated to version 36.0. When I click on the Firefox icon to open it I get the message: "Mozilla cannot find runtime" I get the message even if I try to open Firefox by selecting "firefox.exe" in the Program Files folder. Subsequently, I uninstall Mozilla Firefox and reinstall. It will open and operate normally just after the re-installation. So if I close the program and try to re - open again, I get the error message same "Mozilla don't find runtime".
The only way I can get Firefox to open is if I uninstall and reinstall everytime I want to open it after the initial re-setup.
Adriel thanks for your quick response. Your solution worked perfectly. I was greedy, trying to find a viable solution to the problem "runtime" I had never met before. -_-
