Accidentally deleted his program

I accidentally deleted a sound program of my system and now there is no sound. I don't remember what I deleted, so I don't know how to get it back. He was on the list of programs to remove/edit. I know it had to do with Realtek. I tried to download that. Does not work. I have an old Gateway GT4010 with Windows XP. Help?

  • accidentally deleted his readers on WindowXP and have no disk

I got an error message that says that I should delete some hings t on my computer.  I did, but in doing so, I accidentally deleted the readers.  So my SoundMax does not.

I tried to download free downloads on their site and that has not worked.

I don't have a Windows XP disc to fix the problem.  My Dell PC came with a few records, but none of them solved the problem.

My computer is 6 years old.  I would like to upgrade to a new model, but which is simply not an option right now.

I tried to take it to the beginning Original date and that no longer works.  I really want the sound back on my computer.

    Thank you

You must go to the Dell website, specific to your tag # and install the audio drivers and possibly chipset drivers, although if you got your PC to factory specifications and which does not solve the problem, it may be more than simply lack drivers

  • How do we install cmd.exe? I accidentally deleted the program.

The other day I decided to move the command prompt on my desk (not too smart) and have my trash automatically remove items the value is not a good thing when there are essential programs around.

Could someone tell me what I can do to re - install this program?

I've been contemplating a freeware command prompt, but I really do not trust this option.

Thanks in advance for your help-

    Probably from Accessories folder?

Its a shortcut, the real cmd.exe must always be located in the System32\ folder

  • I accidentally deleted my sound program, how can I get it back

I was going to delete a program in the control panel that I didn't need, but accidentally deleted that bad now, I have no sound system or headphones

    Either:

    * install the audio drivers CD/DVD media supplied with your machine (or support for that partition)

    or (and this is better):

    * Go to the manufacturer's Web site, find the support page for your unit and download the latest audio drivers from there and then install them.

    See you soon,.

    Hi Rhonda327,

Check if an error code is listed in the Device Manager:

    a. Click Start, click Run and then type devmgmt.msc

    b. expand sound, video and game controllers

    c. double-click the sub element

    1. run the system restore. Restore the system to the date when it was working fine. You can check the link for the steps below: how to restore Windows XP to a previous state: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084

    2. you can also run the patch from the link below: diagnose and automatically repair audio playback problems:http://support.microsoft.com/mats/no_sound/en-us

Check out the links that gives you information about the installation of drivers from the manufacturer's Web site and also not to know the manufacturer or the supplier of the device below.

  • Recover a program I accidentally deleted

I need help recovering a sound program I accidentally deleted, could someone tell me how I can get it back?

By put it back from the original media or the file you had.

  • Accidentally deleted Microsoft Office programs

I am a stupid and accidentally deleted all of my Windows Office programs (Word, Excel). I can not find them anywhere I have the Vista instalation disc but it says error code 0 x 80070020 and cancels. I tried looking for answers but am at a loss... someone can help me please?

Please provide details, did you accidentally delete the icons of "Programs of Office" or did you actually uninstall programs from Add/Remove programs.

To reinstall Office programs, you must use the office installation media not the Vista installation disc.

If you just remove the icons (shortcuts) for the programs, you can easily restore them.

Please confirm that you actually did.

  • I accidentally deleted the directory "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft ' my 64 bit Windows Vista system. How can I get it back?

I accidentally deleted the directory "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft ' my 64 bit Windows Vista system.  How can I get it back?

    original title: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft

    You can try this program:

    http://www.filehippo.com/download_recuva/

Use the deep Scan option. It may take some time.

The System File Checker can repair some of the files in there, but probably not all.

It's probably at least some of the files that have been overwritten. so I would say the the more safe thing to do is to reinstall Windows.
