Accidentally deleted software

Hello. I managed to delete the Cyberlink PowerDVD and possibly other elements, beams with my HP laptop. I got in touch with software publishers who said that I had to contact the sof the computer manufacturer. I want to know is if it is possible to reinstall the missing files somehow. I took a complete system some time ago. Is it possible simply to restore files accidentally deleted from the backup files. Or, if I have to buy the software from Cyberlink?

Retirement - pretty old to remember BBC microcomputers and computers Windows 3.0

Hello

Try to use Recovery Manager to reinstall Cyberlink PowerDVD and other software you miss - the procedure to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

Recovery Manager - Windows 8.

Kind regards

I'll be able to get my laptop as it was before?

    Hello

Do not have recovery disks because there is a pre-installed software called Toshiba Recovery Media Creator who creates these discs.
But it must be created in the first day of the purchase, I assume that you will not be able to create this disc now because the partition (which contains the image files) has been removed.
So now, you will need to purchase the recovery (about 30) disk in order to recover the laptop. After that the recovery partition should be available again.

  • Accidentally deleted my photos Tksgiving. They no longer recycle bend. How can I locate and restore. Pls HELP!

I downloaded the photos from my camera and the device programmed to delete the photos when I download to the computer.   I had pictures in my photo folder and was renaming the folder, somehow accidentally deleted the file.   He went up to the curve of recycling and I thought that I restored the folder, but can not find pictures anywhere.  Please help me find my photos - otherwise they are lost forever!  Thank you very much.  Charron102

Trying to find the folder on your system by using the search engine. Otherwise, there are many pieces of software available to help recover deleted files.

However, you posted in the feedback forum. A moderator should move your thread shortly, and the experts will be able to solve your problem and, if necessary, recommend programs. I would not download any software immediately because it can be dangerous if used inappropriately, or may contain malware if illegitimate.

  • I accidentally deleted my qualcomm atheros drivers

    Hello

I have a V5 571 and I accidentally deleted the Qualcomm's atheros drivers. I use Wifi only so I can no longer connect to the internet. Where can I get the drivers from to restore this back to normal?

    Hello

I managed to launch the setup on my laptop without any error.

I just unzipped the archive in a folder and ran the setup.exe from the install_cd folder. I do not run the setup.exe directly from the archive. I first extract archive somewhere.

Alternatively, you can extract archive wireless driver only in a folder.

Then go to Device Manager (just write in Boot Device Manager). Here, you should see the network card with a yellow question mark or something similar. Right-click on it and select update drivers---> browse my computer for driver software---> select the folder where you extracted archive and then click Next. If the corresponding drivers and you did it correctly, it should install your wireless driver.

  • I accidentally deleted wsock32.dll.

How do I restore it back? I use a Windows XP Media Center Version. I do not have the XP cd, but I got from Sony, the kit dvd with all of the original software in system restore. I find the wsock32.dll on dvd & I sent a copy of it to my desktop.but that I am not able to run.

You see a message like this:

.exe - Unable to locate component
The application has failed to start because WSOCK32.dll is not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

What is the application you are trying to launch that generates the error message (Firefox, iTunes, etc.).

Since the file wsock32.dll is one of 3498 files covered by the Protection of Windows, deleting files, it requires a little extra effort...  How did you accidentally delete it?  (just curious).

If the system works correctly, what do you think has happened since the last time the system worked properly?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

Unless there is any trouble with your system, no protected file should never miss...

We need copies of the missing file (and all protected files 3498) in other places on your system that you can use to replace (copy/paste) the missing file.  You just need to find a copy and paste again where it belongs.

    The file is here:

    c:\Windows\System32

You can search the backup copies of the file here:

    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

Depending on your installation, there might be a copy here:

    c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

When you find it, copy and paste the file where it belongs.

The file should never really miss in the first place.  There may be other copies on your system you can find with built in research works, but if it's really not in c:\windows\system32 and you do not have a good explanation for that missing, you have another problem.

You should not have an installation CD XP and sfc/scannow won't help you not (in the case that rises).

If the user accesses the server accidentally deleted the folder how recovery

    Hi AmjadPasha,

If you are referring to a local file, you can check the trash.

If you are referring to a network share, then there is very little that can be done.

You can try using recovery software/services of third parties to retrieve the file.

You can use your favorite search engine to search for third-party software.

Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  • Z420: accidentally deleted the recovery partition

Accidentally deleted the Partition D:Recovery on my win machine 7 Z420. I have HP recovery disks: System Recovery, Driver Recovery DVD, 8.1Pro operating system and operating system Win 7 pro sp1.  The use of these will recreate the partition D automatically or do I have to do this first.  I have the orientations of the white paper "Restoring Microsoft windows 7 on the z420 ', but I was told that it will not recreate the recovery partition.  There is no need to restore everything if in fact I still have until the end without disk recovery D and files?

There is no way to recreate the recovery partition on the z420.  The recovery disk media that I bought with the Z420 does not include this information.  It will only recover the original operating system and drivers and software that came with the system.  I spoke with HP z workstation support today.

    Nice day

  • I accidentally deleted my matlab file.

    Hello

I fell into a big trouble here.
    I lost my m-file. (matlab)
It has been accidentally deleted by pressing SHIFT + DELETE.

I tried many software but not supports this format.

No there is no way to recover my file?
    Help me.

    Thank you

I do not know what as an m-file. file (matlab) is but Windows 7 is a feature called restore previous Versions that could help.

To test this, I have a folder with a certain file in there and Shift-Delete allows you to permanently delete the file (and has been warned) and the file has been deleted.

Then I used the previous Version restore to restore this folder yesterday:

Then the file I deleted was restored successfully.

As you can see what previous versions were offered, I could come back weeks or months to a previous version of this folder (allegedly).

You can read more here in this topic:
