  As long as your "encoder" don't mess with embedded scripts and style definitions, fonts TypeKit will remain intact. It may not appear when editing the code, but in the browser. The rest is of no consequence. There are hundreds of different FTP clients or other ways to get your files on the server. Just put the entire folder of the published site.

  Hello! I have a bit of mystery on my hands. Recently, I bought a Muse model site and there corresponding favicon and favorite icons. I've updated the favicon on the model site on the master pages in the Page preferences and not for the life of figure me out how to update the Favorites icon. Initially I thought that setting the favicon would automatically do an icon of the Favorites, but is no longer, I think that this is the case. Someone knows how to fix this problem or where you load the favorite icon?

  I know there must be a way to match them. See below. In the address bar it has the favicon updated dove logo that I added. In Favorites, I get the logo that came with the model site?

  

  
  

  I have the same problem on some of my sites created from scratch.

  Here is the favicon for this site address bar. The favicon is a symbol of white doctor or Caduceus on a teal background

  

  But it's the image/icon that appears in the Favorites.

  

  (™ wesite is what I renamed the site in the Favorites bar). The image is always blue-green, but there the image of generic clock on it. I do not load this image of the clock in my site anywhere. In fact, it appears as theIcon for many sites on my favorites page.

  Favorites icons do not use the favorite icon. It's something called apple touch icons. If you look at any website that have the icon and look at the source code for it, you'll see that it uses Apple Touch icons.

  A large number of files in your site seems not to be on the server. If you use file > upload to FTP host, please repeat the process and select Download all files. If you use file > export as HTML and download with an FTP external program, please repeat the export process in an EMPTY FOLDER and then download everything that has been exported to your server.

  Hi all

  Please forgive these questions (probably) very amateur, but I have a client who would like to get a new website for them. They already have an existing site (hosted somewhere in China), but please can you answer the following questions about to build myself a new site for them:

  1. If I build them a new site on Muse, I will need to start the hosts or can they continue to host on whatever the installer they have? If they can continue to host, can I just send them the HTML files?

  2 affected their existing emails if I host (i.e. accommodation to Business Catalyst)? If I host the new site, how I would go about integrating their email without harming things?

  3. If the customer continues to receive, how they manage the content of the site I design for them? Or if I needed to manage, how this would be possible if I am not it hosting? If I'm the hosts (with BC) is it possible myself and/or the customer can access the CMS?

  1. you can host Business Catalyst or your third party web hosting through the platform. For web forms work on third party hosts, they must support PHP and the PHP mail service must be properly configured to send e-mail messages. And Yes, you can either send the HTML export file so that they publish, or if you have access to their servers, you can download the using the FTP upload feature or use a third-party client FTP. If you choose to use BC as the hosting service, your customers can take advantage of the change of browser function to edit the text and some images of foreground.   2. you can choose to use BC as host without affecting the e-mail services being run by sticking with the current DNS provider and just update the record has to point to BC while keeping intact MX records. Learn more about the use of external DNS services in British Colombia (stage 3, point 2) - http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1741.

  3. the sites completed in Muse can be managed through the Muse app, unless you use Muse only to create a prototype and want to manage the coding from there part for editing (which cannot be synchronized to Muse). So if your customer is using Muse too, you can share with them the .muse file to from there. Or if the site is hosted with BC, your customers can use the browser in typical edition of BC to change the basic text and images through the CMS of BC tel indicated in point 1 above that can be synchronized with the Muse project.

  It is impossible to do it with the help of Muse. You need some sort of CMS like Wordpress, for example

  No, it isn't, but you can run into issues to keep the site updated with new widgets coming out all the time to Muse.

• Muse (live) site import/overwrite

  I got muse installed on both computers.

  Computer - was the last version of my site downloaded through muse, computer has crashed and died, beyond recovery.

  Is it posible to import the live site in computer B and continue to make the chnages?

  If not, and I rebuild the site from scratch, there will be duplicates/coruption/complications if I decide to download the new version by muse/ftp?

  If not either, what is the best solution to fix my problem.

  Unfortunately, unless you have a backup somewhere, you have to re-create the site again. Muse outputs HTML, but the actual file to use in the design process is the owner. There is no problem by downloading a new version, as all the duplicate files will be overwritten and useless files will be ignored. The only question that this causes is extra space currently on the server.

• InBrowser editing no longer works, no original muse reupload site file

  I have a site I created about 2 years ago for a client. Recently, the hard drive that stored the original muse files failed. It was not a problem, because the owner does not want major changes and simply uses the InBrowser editing tool to change the text in its events and the sections of the list of depression (business is a bar). He made these changes once a week.

  Starting this week, it seems that the edition of InBroswer does not recognise anything on the site as editable. No way to change images or text.

  The site is www.publichousefl.com. Anyone know a solution or have the same problem?

  There is a known bug with some web sites of Business Catalyst where previously editable in owners of content areas are not editable. A similar report can be found here Re: change in the browser to define editable regions.

  If this is the same bug and you use licensed content for the content of your page, you are able to change the holders of content via the Business Catalyst Admin site?

  After having tried the codes below, the problem appeared to be fixed (browser). However, problem still happens when viewing on the mobile device or preview with x-code iphone Simulator.

  I tried the following:

  • No selection of all to ensure that no stray objects / elements are outside the page.
  • Cache - everything on the page (so that only master remains). Problem still there. It's not there when only master published.

  Looks OK on an iPhone 6. Such problems often occur if page items extend beyond the page area. Another thing to check is if this occurs if you disable the Gallery widget you use. Due to their nature, the code used in the widgets sometimes conflicts with own Muse code, particularly if you use sensitive design with older widgets.

  A hypothetical scenario: I have set up a website in Asobe Muse, one day I cancel my subscription. What happens to my site, if anything?

  If you do not use the Muse - included BusinessCatalyst webhosting, nothing will happen. Your site is not at all affected. You are still able to use the InBrowser edition.
