• Recent update - mess up user profile/login

  When I get to the Vista login screen, then connect, everything is there and will not load the profile/desktop.  If I go to safe mode and go back to a previous restore point before this update, it works very well.  I'm not in the machine now, I'll provide more specific model and updated information... anyone else having this problem.   One of our clients have a network of about 50 PCs. Two weeks back I need to change the names of some 40 computers for inventory purposes. There was no name of PC or IP address conflict. Next day, it was a mess, many users have complained that they are unable to connect to the terminal server or cannot log on to their PC.

  Yesterday, had to change the names of the 6 PCs and had the same problem. It is not the name of PC or IP address conflict.

  I did the same process of changing names to another customer, and there is no problem at all. What could be the reason for this customer?

• Display value instead of the key into the field with LOV?

  Sorry, that's so basic I don't know it should be easy, but somehow, I can't find it in the documentation. The LOCATION table contains a foreign key referencing the table of CLIMATE. As well as its primary key, CLIMATE has a column called NAME that contains the name of the climate (e.g., temperate, tropical, etc.). The user must be able to update the value of climate for the location, is working on that. I have a list of values that has air up the names of possible climates, the user selects the name he wants so set in the LOCATION table. It works, but the problem is that the input element shows the value of key for the record of CLIMATE, and I need to display the value of NAME instead. Of course, I have another field indicating the name, but that is a mess, the user does not include the value of the key and should not have to see. So, how can I make an entry field display NAME, updating really of the value of the key to the LOV choice?

• 09/17/10 update to messed up Vista user account access

  The last batch of Windows updates (9/17-9/24/10) me locked out of my user and administrator accounts - I choose the user account and password and the system says that it cannot find the System Event Center and hangs up.  I turned off the computer entered Safe Mode and use system restore to go back before the update, and the problem is solved.

  How can I get new updates to load without loading the bad update which is mess up my computer? And or isolate the bad update a huge hassle?

• I just updated Firefox and now it crashes, does not not tabs or add-ons, and the user interface is all messed up.

• I'm locked out guest user (only one account on my Mac)

  I recently bought a macbook model 2013 end pro on eBay and the seller gave me the password for the user "guest".

  I changed the password to a blank password that I didn't have a password but I did not create a new user account.

  last night I installed clean OS X El Capitan, when installation is complete asked me a password at the login screen.

  I managed to pass the login password, but now I am trying to create a new password in system preferences, but I can't because I'm required to use a password to allow the change.

  Guest user is the only account on my Mac, so I have no idea what to do to get out of this mess.

  You wipe the drive and then do a fresh install of Mac OS X. You can do this via the network of restoration:

  Installer Lion through Mavericks

  1. Restart the computer and after the chime hold down the keys COMMAND + OPTION + R until it appears a globe. Wait patiently - 5 - 15 minutes - until appears the Utility Menu.

  I don't know that it is a pure question of Firefox. Have you tried around switching between regular Windows themes to see if one of them restore default menu colors?

  Sometimes there are differences between integrated and accessories themes that have some strange effects.   You can set the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref on the topic: config page on 1.0 or Windows 8 to 1.25 and if necessary adjust layout.css.devPixelsPerPx from 1.0 to 0.1 or 0.05 steps (1.1 or 0.9) do the icons to display properly.

But today I've upgraded to 29, and I've just couldn't believed my eyes to see how unpractical and uncomfortable everything is now. You've taken the small things that I've accustomed to, you took freedom to manipulate browser in any way I, not YOU, but ME, want to use MY browser. YOU want whole new look is fine with me, make it choseable, don't force it, if it's good migration will follow, but now it's definitely a mess and for first time in 10 years firefox I will be considering firefox as my second-choice browser until (if ever) that mess cleans up.

  I am trying to find a solution for this.
  I want to create a style of the user to a Web site because it looks like a mess on mobile browsers. I already did on my desktop browser and then downloaded on userstyles.org.

  Now, I tried to install Stylish on my mobile Firefox (10.0.5 and the new Firefox Beta 14.0b6 I think). Even if it already doesn't work perfectly (probably not supported, but I thought mobile and Office FF begin to merge?), I managed to install somehow. Now still impossible to install a userstyle because it does not detect the addon (I changed the user agent to something desktop-ish). I also tried with a greasemonkey script, but I'm also stuck there.

  .. Help?
