Account hacked hotmail, password reset

I've been locked out of my account hotmail for 9 days after what I guess was a hacking attempt.  I'm unable to ride, my password and secret answers do not work.  I entered my details in the solution center but had no joy to find all the information.  I REALLY need my account back.  I'm derperate.  The solution Center Web site isn't very user friendly.  How can I get an answer?  Ireally need to talk to a person if possible.

  • Account compromised Hotmail - password reset does not work!

A few days ago my account Hotmail "sent" emails to all my contacts, even if the emails are not in my sent items folder.  To prevent this from happening again, I installed antivirus software and also deleted all my contacts from Hotmail.  I could access the account for a day or two, but now, without warning, I can not access my TI at all.  When I try to log on I get a screen "your account has been blocked.  I have a second email address, to which I ask a verification code sent to unlock my Hotmail.  When I enter the code, I get a screen "Reset your password".  I have reset a strong password and save, then resubmit my secondary e-mail address, then continue.  I wonder for a phone number as another option of password recovery, but I ignore this screen and click on continue.  I get then tell screen ' authorized error 401 - no server: access denied due to credentials not valid.  You are not authorized to view this directory or page using the credentials you provided "."

    Makes no sense to me!

I installed Avast antivirus and Microsoft Security Essentials but neither picked up a virus on my system.

Help, please!  I really need to access my account!

    Hello

First of all you must have a significant anti-virus program on the computer at one time much
less running. Even if disabled they will always load parts of themselves into a memory that
can cause strange issues while actually reduce safety. Even the remains of a
    uninstalled antivirus may cause problems.

Uninstall Avast or MSE (both are excellent)

    More information:

If someone is Spoofing emails that appear to come from you then they probably never
had access to your e-mail account. Instead, they have either a copy of your contacts
list or just an email from you or one of you where you were one of the recipients. Those
could be gleaned either your computer, the computer of a friend, or hacking
any site or intercept an email on your behalf or to you (you may not be the main)
    (beneficiary).

Once they have this information there is nothing you can do to avoid that they don't
send usurped messages. Warn your friends that is happening and they
can be entitled to install rules such as parodies are treated as SPAM or JUNK
    mail.

I've even seen usurped by email that appears to be from a valid user name however
This name doesn't have an e-mail account on the mail system used in parody.
As SpiritX - AT - realmail.com may be a valid account, however, parody used
SpiritX - AT - wrongmail.com. The latter could still be considered an email address valid
SpiritX if it was allowed through JUNK and JUNK e-mail filtering. (The - AT - has been used
instead of so that those addresses would not be filtered by auto responses.
    as if by magic.)

    ============================================================

Proceed to a very thorough check for malware and then change your password by e-mail.

The reason why you want to do this is to make sure no more hacking your computer is
still in effect (if it has been hacked). You have changed the password once but I would
Change it again after these checks.

It is possible for a person to send the email that 'seems' to be of your
account but that is not really - called "Spoofing." That means its 'Possible' emails
were not really you, although they may have your contact list. Have someone
who receives the e-mails to check the header to see where he is actually sent by and
NOT only the answer to the address.

  • Account blocked Hotmail cannot reset the password

Hello, my son hotmail account has been locked as when he went to get it old, that he had been compromised and that it could not use its password to reset it. Unfortunately, he cannot answer enough information on the form to reset password to confirm the account is his, and so won't let him change it. He can't answer his question because he doesn't remember, it may not send a password recovery to another email that he used is a veteran of my friends that I have disabled now, it doesn't have an x - box live account and it is not send emails to it. Only emails he receives, if any are those of a very few specific games that he has downloaded to receive codes playable. Unfortunately, he cannot even do more. He has only to set up the account for the games.

He wants to reset his password so that he can get the codes for downloads and playable content in the games there.

I have so far chatted with after-sales service that recommended I have contact support using a climbing form. I did and they said they can't help that I had to fill out the password to reset (insult to my intelligence to think that I had not tried) and then contact an online forum since it was "established public moderators Microsoft Account can better address your concern! I read a few threads and yes there is a reference to contact online support so have that filled again, but y at - it other advice out there on how it can reset the password to access his account? Thanks in advance.

There is nothing we can do here, we don't work for Microsoft and do not have access to all accounts and systems.

If you have already tried the password reset functions and cannot verify your account, then the account cannot be unlocked.  It's a good idea to keep your phone number added to your accounts so that they can always check it out by calling you.  Unfortunately, if you have the lead, you're out of options.

  • How can I find the private forum that was set up for me about my hotmail password reset problem?

You have found the information I sent to reset my password to be insufficient. I need to give you additional information you need, but the link you sent to your email address doesn't seem to take me anywhere where I can do.

In addition, some of the information requested was for my credit card, but I'm using a free account and I guess I don't need to present this type of information. Is this correct?

    Hi Daniel,.

I know not who talk you to or by what method (phone, online, email, chat,...), or how it started, but I strongly suspect that is NOT anyone of Hotmail and you should stop communicating with them and providing personal information any more than you already have and immediately delete all emails from them and who come in the future and do not go to all the links in the emails and do not open attachments to emails.  I'm almost certain it's a scam and an attempt to identity theft and possibly worse.

Now let's awhile back and check something.  Did you password reset instructions below and receive the email them with a link to reset?  If so, this may be valid; However, if the link is not valid (or even if it is still perhaps not trust because he could easiily be redirected) and request information (enamel on their part is not ask for information but just give a link), especially as your credit card, then it is totally wrong and what I said above applies. In this case, I post on the forum and forget that normal reset method and get help directly from them where you KNOW who you're talking about.

If they want to use the e-mail process (or need to because you have not provided no alternative), then ask you provide the link they will send (I guess they won't) or to include a way to check for certain that the email is from them given the circumstances - perhaps including a few special as coded message "this message is verified to support Hotmail with the code we agreed on Au93kgke9le ' or some thing like this and ask them to send you a private link response so you can send private code and not in the open air in the thread.

To resolve this issue, go to http://windowslivehelp.com/product.aspx?productid=1 for support of Hotmail.  For assistance with your password, post your question in the following forum: http://windowslivehelp.com/forums.aspx?forumid=d3fda415-1e53-4007-8e0c-2a77180ffb1d.   Here is specific information on the password reset: http://windowslivehelp.com/solution.aspx?solutionid=bf5d34bf-db28-44ca-ac9a-93838d81b2d6 but be careful if the messaging process is used and do as shown above, or make them use another method (or offer a safe alternative).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    Hello

I'm helping a friend reset his hotmail password, but they have not yet sent a new password to another address, and it's been more than 48 hours.
I also tried to reset my own so that I could understand the process and they have not sent me a new password either, same time frame.
Is there a way to talk to someone to get the reset password if the normal procedure fails?
Is there a way I can talk or IM support to solve more attacking right and fast way?

Original title: How can I reset the password without iso disc?

I am the administrator on my PC, with a second windows profile that is not password protected. I used to write down of my password every time I have to change, but this time I don't have. I went through dozens of passwords I would use and still not recalled it. My PC came with 7 is already installed and I have no backup disc 7. How can I get my account? I already tried to command prompt and it was unnecessary.

I already tried to command prompt and it was unnecessary.

What is the value of a password if you could get around it with a simple command console?

Since you are obviously the owner of the PC, you can reset the password to its previous value as follows:
    1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
    2. Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
    3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
    4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
    5. Select 'Repair' when prompted.
    6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    7. Configure Windows to a point before you changed the password.
    8. Plan ahead a little and create, test and document an alternative admin account, same as you have a spare emergency House key. This will save you a lot of trouble.

Not really, no.  It could be an accident too - someone ' one with a user name very similar to yours that's typo in their username, may not know why they are unable to open a session, requested a password reset, thinking they forgot what it.
