  If you use ONLY to send and not calendar & contacts windows live mail (any version), you can configure to operate using IMAP/POP.  If you do not need to synchronize the calendar & contacts...
  It is an excellent replacement for Windows live mail which is free to try (up to 2 accounts) that BECAUSE of the work with the new outlook e-mail format called emclient.  There is also a paid version. You can either get here

  It works with Exchange, POP, IMAP and looks like Windows live mail.  Frankly, it's the first replacement I've seen that actually works.  I spent.

  -Site Internet Bank: see list of accounts and balances, but not of movements - when you click on an account, just sits and clocks.

  -Amazon: can see shopping basket & Deal of the day/Top Lightning Deal, but not "lightning of today is on" horizontal scrolling list (don't see the topic, no images or links).

  -School ' Campus Portal: "totally blank (have current messages, links to account of lunch, current grades, etc.).

  -Web site gap: can see home page, but click on a category (like women > sweatshirts) just sits & clocks.

  All these things work fine on my other computer.

  Note: I am running Windows 7 64 bit.

  This probably isn't the right place to ask but I'm stumped! ANY thoughts are appreciated!

  Thank you for your quick response to my post asking for additional information. I will give you a few scenarios to try to see if we can get this resolved for you.

  Scenario 1.

  First thing we are going to try is to clear the cache and cookies of your browser and java. To do this follow the instructions I have stated below:

  Step 1. Click Start

  Step 2. Click on Control Panel

  Step 3. Click on Internet Options

  Step 4. On the General tab click Delete under browsing history

  Step 5. Click on delete

  Step 6. Click OK

  Step 7. Click on Java

  Step 8. On the general tab, click settings under temporary Internet files

  Step 9. Click on delete files

  Step 10. Click OK

  Step 11. Click OK

  See if you can browse websites now.

  Scenario 2.

  To restore your system to an earlier point in time before that this issue has been raised. To do this simply follow the steps in the HP Support document: use Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7). This document will guide you in the process of restoring your system to the previous time. Remember that, from the date that you choose so far all you have installed Applications will have to be resettled and any change of parameter that you did, will have to be redone. This should not affect your personal files, somehow.

  Once all check to see if you can browse the sites.

  Scenario 3.

  Lets try to install another browser and see if you can browse websites using it. I don't know which browser you are currently using, but if you could try to install Firefox or Google Chrome and test to see if you can browse websites using one of them.

  Try to set up the account manually in "menu"-"Settings"-"Accounts" + "Add an account" by selecting "Email", then uncheck "Automatically set up account"

  Try these settings:

  Receiving: pop3.live.comport995, SSL (secure user connection)

  Sending: smtp.live.com, port587 (and 25), (use the secure connection)

  If it doesn't, try to uncheck use a secure connection and try again

  Your only option is to go to the page to reset password here.  You will need a way to prove you belong, such as a billing statement (if you've ever bought something like Xbox or Outlook using this Live account) or a phone number.  If you can't prove you are the owner, then the password can not be reset (otherwise anyone could lie and take back to your account).

To get parental permission on your account page, please note that this page is for accounts of Parent of Kids for Windows accounts Live or known as accounts of the Children Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Because these accounts are recorded in another e-mail provider, here are passports Kid of the provider. The page for parental consent will not show these accounts and cannot be visualised under https://fss.live.com/ for the follow-up.

  • I don't know how unbullet these (way to go), but which is not my question...

    • • I changed the password on my live account to account.live.com

        • I can connect to most Live services with this account by using the new password (I'm now connected with it)
        • It will not work with the installation of the parental controls, I installed on two computers (for example, to work around a site "in person" or temporarily disable the software.)
      • I uninstalled parental controls on both computers and reinstalled with the web installer Live Essentials.  The real account seems to authenticate correctly the first time, he asks the account to use when opening of parental control for the first time.  After that, "the Windows Live ID or the password is incorrect.  Please try again ".
      • I did a reset of password.  This most recent new password does not work (but it allows me to sign in other online like hotmail and other services).
      • I thought it was a kind of "replication" or something - the password is changed for 4 hours, still does not work (only in parental control).
      • My id is * address email is removed from the privacy *
      • This isn't because of the caps or keyboard failure.  Two keyboards.  I pressed each key very carefully several times, I put the right password.

  When you go to fss.live.com and it redirects you to the website "Live Essentials", this indicates that the account has not yet been defined in the client Windows Live Family Safety. You must connect to the customer first before you can access fss.live.com.
