Accounts of e-mail between blackBerry Smartphones

I just downloaded the latest update.  Now my 3 email accounts are all listed under the icon, messages not separately as it were before and notifications do not work for all e-mail accounts, but they work for everything.  What I have done wrong and what should I do?  Any help would be appreciated.

Hello!

You do nothing wrong. All your posts have always been inside Messages throughout - you were simply (as I was) since you had separate icons for dealing with them to ignore. What has happened is that the books service got lost in the update - service books that govern the existence of the additional icon. From a PC, log on your account BIS and inside, there should be an option to push your service books.

An alternative is to call your operator and ask them to push books.

  • Receiving e-mails from blackBerry Smartphones

    Can anyone provide me with a phone setting (Storm 9530) that increase the speed at which I receive emails on my phone from my main email account.  I am not part of an Enterprise Server.  Stand single individual who receives the e-mail on his phone after receiving in my main email account.  It seems to take three to five minutes for the e-mail to be delivered to the phone after, he is received on my email account.  Suggestion are appreciated.

    Only accounts GMail, Yahoo, GoDaddy, AOL and Hotmail supports delivery in real time to your BlackBerry.  Other accounts of e-mail, such as IMAP, POP, OWA, working on a polling interval where BIS go if the e-mail server for new messages and then broadcast them on your BlackBerry.

  • Personal e-mail from blackBerry Smartphones

    My camera is through society and on a BES.  However, I have set up accounts of e-mail through hotmail, yahoo, etc., in order to follow my personal e-mail.  My understanding is that these emails do not go through the BES.  So, if I understand correctly, the only way these emails could be seen by the company, it's if they can really get into my BB and read them on the device itself.  Is this correct?  For any other question here?

    Your company may have a policy in place to force all outbound messages to send via your BES.  It is also quite possible that there is a piece of software on the HH which report data back to a database in your business... That said I don't know any that capture BIS built-in accounts like that, but it's quite possible.

    Roughly, if your BB is on a BES, you should assume that everything is logged, tracked and archived by your company.  By default, the newer versions of BES record all phone calls and can connect all SMS or a pencil with the flick of a switch.

    Is it possible to send email to a blackberry phone settings via a form of service for the user to phone message doesn't have to configure it manually?

    We recently had to reinstall our Exchange Server and are now having to modify the e-mail settings on all our employees members of the phone, however, some of these members of staff are not in the same city that I.T. support and that the staff are not very literate computer/smartphone members, it will be difficult for us to guide them on how to change the e-mail settings especially if Autodiscover does not report the settings correctly on the phone and domain/server settings must be entered manually.

    A member of staff in particular, has a Blackberry curve 9300.

    Any suggestion will be appreciated as we would prefer, as well as in the future, be able to update phones with the necissary through a form parameters any service message rather than error prone manual intervention.

    OK... so the answer is, well, maybe. It will require compromises your safety ethic.

    A way of doing what you want to connect in the BIS users account on their Web of BIS carrier site and configure the email account it... the fact, of course, would require you to know the credentials of BIS users. Of course, that would also require that the carrier does have such a site... not all do.

    Another way would ring up the carrier users the identity of the user and the carrier agent to configure the e-mail account.

    If the employer provides the user devices such as service plan, then I guess the compromise of security required is lower because, technically, two belong to the company, not the user. But, if what are BYOD devices and/or the carrier account does she belong to the employer, then you'd be in essence hack on behalf of users to achieve.

    I'm new to the BlackBerry scene so be gentle please!

    I tried the setting to the top of my handset to receive my work email, but it achieved so far and told me to contact my company for a few additional settings. To be honest, I tried to do on the fly because im not important enough for me to put emails in place like this. So I wanted to just cancel it with emails, but I keep receiveing network messages every 3 minutes as if the my work e-mail account is still trying to send them. The email I receive is:-

    Your phone is configured as a phone based enterprise BES server and not as a private phone.

    This procedure will help you switch to a BIS (personal phone.

  • Configuration of e-mail from blackBerry Smartphones work not...

    On my Blackberry Bold 9650 - I am unable to do the menu configure my e-mail address. I chose the configuration application. When I choose the icon email accounts that nothing happens! If I try to get out of this app, the phone freezes & I'm unable to access & have to stop on the phone. I still get out of this APP. I took it to a Verizon Wireless Technician & they say they are unable to determine the problem. Suggestions?

    On your home screen, open main messages Inbox > highlight any date or say today > press the Menu key > click on "mark read prior", then do a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered, wait a min. then reinsert this return. After restarting, please check if the problem resolves.

    Looks like you have misconfigured Desktop Manager on your pc.  I think that it is configured with enterprise server have to change internet server.

    I have the Bold 9790, updated to OS 7.0.0 2466 Bundle which is the last update provided by my operator. Everything that was not on the whole, I've updated to AppWorld (which is the most recent version of the AppWorld Wikitude, BBM, himself and so on)

    So, what is the difference between the OS 7.0 Bundle 2466 and OS 7.1?

    A guy in our society says that's not a lot. But he did not mention something special.

    Y at - it builds a page on this site where I could see the official release for the major notes? Most of the users would be really interested in every detail of output for each bundle released note, but it would be good, if they went to the main beams.

    I'll try to keep this short, sweet and simple. I have a new curve 8350i and set up a blackberry to this topic e-mail account: [email protected]. I use this mail to redirect emails from Outlook work. So far, it has worked great, but I would like to be able to log-in to the email account and change the 'Reply-To' so when I e-mail people back to the blackberry e-mail, they will automatically respond to my work instead of a blackberry email address.

    Anyway, I can't figure out how to log-in and make this change. I used a couple of sprint.blackberry including different URLs. com. It does not work.

    Fortunately, there was a phone number to call. I called him and after puzzled the guy from support with my problem, he suggested we delete my email account and try to re-register. The only downside was that I would not be able to use the same name for e-mail. Well, it worked!

    And here's the other confusing part... I use www.nextel.blackberry.com because my phone is a Nextel Blackberry, but the e-mail address is still sprint.blackberry.com. There is more confusing than that, it?

    Not sure if this is a problem or two. The two are related e-mail.

    On my curve (AT & T network) my emails come from three accounts: blackberry by default, a hotmail and a business account.

    Previously, when they arrived, I had three options, I could 1) remove unit, 2) remove the device and the server it comes or 3) cancel.

    Now, I have only two options: 1) delete or cancel the 2). This reflected what he said to me when an SMS arrives.

    So, when I choose the delete, it isn't clear it from the server, and I have to manually delete the emails of my accounts and get essentially the same message twice, once on the handheld and once in my email box.

    Is it possible to restore the options remove?

    Second, I can receive, but not send e-mail messages from my handheld.

    No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.
    Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is corrected.

    If this does not work:
    Go to options advanced options, host Routing Tables, click to enter. DO NOT CLICK on any list.
    Press the menu key and select sign up now.
    You will receive a verification email. Then go to email settings and send service directories.
    You will receive an email by account. Repeat the battery pull and see if the problem is
    solved.
