Accounts of Gmail 2 Smartphones blackBerry on my BB. One works, the other does not work why?

I thought it was a matter of BlackBerry initially, but now not so sure. When I add another GMail account, it works very well - so the problem seems to be something wrong with my original Gmail account. However, I compared each visible setting between the two accounts and can find no difference!

Here's the question: when I get a message on my Gmail account on the BB, notification indicators all work fine, but when I open the icon "envelope" it does not show the Inbox. It shows a folder named 'All messages' instead, and it is empty. The continuous unread message indicator show that I have a message but nothing is there. I realized that if I select 'filter' in the menu, and then select the Inbox, it will take me in the Inbox and the message is there. All goes well until I put down and the next message arrives. Same thing every time. It's as if the default view is somehow summer past "inbox" to "All messages" and I can't find any setting to fix it.

Looked like a BB problem at the beginning, but I've sent books service, deleted the account of the BB rebooted, added the account back, still no change. When I tried to add another Gmail account, it worked fine. Went back and added the first account, same problem.

It's embarrassing to admit, but I am a IT consultant and I'm working on things like this all day. I've never seen a problem like this before and I'm stumped. Does anyone know of a way to make Gmail account icon on the BlackBerry default in the folder "Inbox"? Or anyone knows what might be associated with a Gmail account, which could cause such behavior on a BB

Problem solved! Finally, I deleted the icon of the envelope of this Gmail account on my BB and it prompted - "do you really want to delete the Gmail improve plugin? I've selected Yes and allowed him to restart. The message icon is still there after, but everything works fine now. If these problems similar witjh: do not reinstall the Gmail plugin... Just delete it.

Verizon says they have a large number of phones across the country, but BlackBerry says it's a matter of Verizon...  Someone at - he already heard of this I am now without such a 4 days while I get a replacement Friday because of the holiday...  I am not very happy as another question, I found - during the upgrade process it used the cells instead of my wirelss home network to download the software and it really took about 2 to 3 hours, then another hour before it failed during the upgrade process. So about. 3 to 4 hours to play with an upgrade yesterday.

    Sorry to hear about the problem you are experiencing during the update!

    But you can still use Desktop Software for the update process, personally, I prefer never to do an Over the Air update. I think that something has gone wrong with the update process and thus you encounter this error 602.

    You have a backup of your device, or using BlackBerry protect for the backup?

    If you wish you can try several method to recover your device of this error, all you need is a PC and an Internet connection active. But attention, this method deletes the data user in this device. This is the Knowledge Base to follow:

    Hi guys. I followed the procedure that has been suggested at this link to upgrade my Pearl to 4.5 OS.

    The phone can't seem to select a data connection to the internet now, although he shoots always my email and my Google Maps works. Gmail does not connect any more than my Opera Mini browser.

    I suggest you try the method of automatic loader, very clean and very energetic:

    Beware that it is completely destructive... the device will be 'as new'... None given, no apps, no accounts, etc. Remember you first take a full backup, as well as make full manual documentation of applications, accounts, configurations, etc. Sometimes a restore reintroduced corruption even sought to eliminate, and manual reconfiguration is required.

    You can also use it to return to a BONE earlier if you want... you can install any level of the operating system for which you can find an auto-loader. (Hint... search the site of CB!)

    I did a factory reset then it works, when I restore my data that it stops working again.

    The only thing I can suggest is to do the wipe and then not restore the data, I realize that means that other applications are not restored either.

    However, as I know there no other way to remove the data from bedside apps.

    So, Yes, I dropped my new phone on the ground this morning. Everything has been ok since then except that I just went to take a picture and the screen shows just black for the main camera. I pay £10.50 per month now for what should be unlimited texts and 100 MB of internet every month. But the internet does not work and are not my bbm. Someone knows why? Please, I beg you.

    Looks like you have removed access to BlackBerry data in your downgrade.

    I suggest you call your mobile to the top and knowledge services provider if new BLACKBERRY data plan, as any generic plan will not work on a BlackBerry.

    Open the "sent" folder on the account that you mailed to and look at the message that you sent it to see.

    I managed to solve my problem.

    I created a new administrator account on the laptop under different parents email address.

    Logged in under that account, I was able to edit on behalf of a child who then it adds the new parental control under the new e-mail address of the parent.

    Only problem I have now is a child under a security account for the parental family and one under the other, but I can live with that...
