accuracy of the module C-9203

The OR the page for the C 9203 module indicates an accuracy of 0.049 my over a range of 0-20 my.  (or approx. 800 mode mA-20 + 20). Is it a typing mistake or is this really not very accurate module?

Manual doesn't mention all this precision, but evokes rather factors such as offset and noise of entry from Ridge to Ridge and "INL" on a scale of the LSB.

Hi aartjan,.

The operating instructions that you have linked gives the specifications of accuracy in the tables on the value of pages 12-13 as a percent of playback (gain error) and one percent of the range (offset error). Using the values in the first table for unipolar range, you will see that the values calibrated for the device will be ±0.18% of reading and ± 0.06% of the range, with the range in 21.5 my. This corresponds to an accuracy of 0,0018 * 20mA + 0.0006 * 21, 5mA = 0.049mA in the worst cases. It lists the typical calibrated values in ±0.04 reading % and ±0. 02 percent in unipolar mode. By looking at the values max calibrated table for bipolar mode would produce a precision of 0.002 * 20mA + 0.0009 * 43mA = 0.079mA. Hope this helps,

  • Advice on the Organization of the modules in a system of 2-chassis SMU

    Hello

    Content of the system

We have a system which consists of:

    • 2 SMU-1085 hunts, connected via an SMU-8384/SMU-8360

    • 15 maps FlexRIO (SMU-7962R + OR-5734), to acquire data at 10 MHz

    • 1 function (SMU-5412) generator

    • map 1 calendar (SMU-6672)

    • Other cards (switches and low-speed i/o)

    Use cases

    1. In a mode of operation, we need 60 FlexRIO channels to listen to at any time. When a channel exceeds the threshold, all 60 channels must be simultaneously acquired and recorded on the disc (i.e. each FlexRIO card must be able to trigger in all 15 acquisition cards)

    2. The other mode of operation, to generate a pulse of the SMU-5412 and acquire at the same time all 60 FlexRIO channels since the moment the fire pulse.

    Question

Essentially, we have 17 maps of conservation (15 FlexRIOs + 1 function generator + 1 card calendar), but only 16 cards can fit in a frame (because 2 slots are ocupied by the on-board controller and MXI-Exprress card). Thus, one of these must be on the other chassis. Then the two obvious options are:

    1. FlexRIOs so that the function on the 1st frame generator, calendar card on the chassis from the 2nd.

    2. FlexRIOs more map timing 1 chassis, generator of functions on the chassis of the 2nd.

Does it matter which option we're going for? Can we get the benefits of performance or ease of coding be it?

    Thanks in advance!

If all that you want to this topic the accuracy of the clock, there an entry on the back of the SMU-1085 for an external clock of 10 MHz and a 10 MHz clock rate.  So everyone can use the same clock.

But you worry about triggering.  So I see two real options:

    1. turn all that must trigger the other in the same chassis.  That would mean putting the source of synchronization in the second frame and using the reference I/O on the chassis clock to share clocks.

    2. get a second synchronization module.  The module should have PFI lines so that you can share trigger signals.  I would still use the reference I/O on the chassis clock in order to ensure that everyone uses the same clock.

  • FPGA code with the evolution of the modules

I need to create FPGA code to a cRIO-9072 facing the development of the modules.

My cRIO will have a number any NI 9203 (analog acquisition) and modules OR 9411 (acquisition digital) as inserted by the operator. When turning the power on, the system must identify two possible modules were inserted in each of the slots. Subsequently, he will then know what choices of code to call to acquire data from the individual modules.

I found the article in the knowledge base for CRY that queries each module and again reports the type of module and I can use it to successfully detect modules, but what LabVIEW fails to allow me to do this is to compile my FPGA code that was designed to deal with possible modules. After compiling, I get the error: "IO found point FPGA project. You must add the I/O item in the Project Explorer window, or select a different element in the control of FPGA of IO or the constant"because the compiler requires the appropriate modules are configured in the LabVIEW project. Unfortunately, this would require two different modules to be configured for each slot at the same time as there are sections of code for the 9203 modules and sections for 9411 modules for all eight locations coexist in a vi.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get LabVIEW to compile my FPGA code somehow?

    Many thanks in advance,

With the current draft of LabVIEW FPGA, you cannot compile a LabVIEW FPGA VI which manages several configurations of C Series modules.

For your application, you must create a target of your project for each of the possible configurations of module and build the corresponding FPGA VI. Then, compile each of the screws to create the necessary for each configuration FPGA bitstream. Then in your host VI, you can detect what the current configuration of the module and download the binary stream appropriate for the FPGA. Another issue to consider is that the reference to the FPGA VI/bitstream returned by the open FPGA VI reference function will be unique to each bitstream/module configuration. So in your host VI, you'll need treat each configuration of the module with a separate set of code by contacting the FPGA.

If you consider only two different modules and an eight slot chassis, there are 9 modules possible combinations. The condition would be to the end user to place all modules of the same type together, either from the left or the right side of the chassis.

  • Impossible to install the modules that are hosted outside of AMO

I can't install any add-on that is hosted outside of AMO, in Firefox for Android 40.0.3, nor in Firefox Beta for Android 41.

What I think should happen: I have download the file as signed (it records to SD card), then open it with Firefox and Firefox should ask me if I want to install this module.

What is really happening: an add-on is downloaded, but when I open it is file as with Firefox - nothing happens. Firefox comes to shows me a blank screen (see the screenshot).

My friend has this problem too.

Looks like a regression bug (because I could install add-ons hosted out of AMO without any problems in previous versions), but I'm not entirely sure.

So my question is: should I file a bug on Bugzilla or is it possible to install the modules hosted outside of AMO to Firefox for Android and it's just me something wrong?

    My phone has Android v2.3.5.

UPDATE: apparently, I can not install the modules of local files, but can do some some sites. My module (I have problem with) is hosted on Github, and I can't install it for whatever reason.

Update 2: it seems that modules can be installed from Github if she is not just a file (because Github changed Content-Disposition of at least some types of raw file of 'inline' to 'attachment'), but a binary attachment to a "news release".

Apparently, I found a work around for this problem, so that this issue does not require a response more.

  • How can I recover the modules and their data from a failed HARD drive (the lost BONE areas, but data files are readable)?

The HARD drive that was my OS (Windows XP Pro SP3) failed and lost quite a few areas which are essential for the operating system running. Other data is still readable. A got another HARD drive and installed Windows XP SP2, Firefox and other programs. I was able to retrieve the bookmarks, security certificates, and other profile information using the information found in bandages.

None of them addressed how do to recover the modules or their data. Specifically, there are several large, elegant scripts that took months to develop and customize.

Articles related to migration and other do not work for me because they require the old copy of FF is functional, that is not because the OS on this HARD drive is damaged. Is it possible to recover these data, similar (or not) about how I could get the other profile info?

Have you copied the entire folder C:\Documents and Settings\username \Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\ on the old drive?
If this is not the case, can you?
If so, make a copy and save this folder just in case.

If so, you could replace this folder on the new facility by \Profiles\ [with your profiles inside] folder and the profiles.ini file [delete all other files / folders that may also be in the folder "Firefox"] -and then replace with the same folder named from the old failed drive. Note that you will lose what you already have with the new installation / profile!
Your profile folder contains all your personal data and customizations, including looking for plugins, themes, extensions and their data / customizations - but no plugins.
But if the user logon name is different on the new facility that the former, any extension that uses an absolute path to the file in its prefs will be problems. Easily rectified, by changing the path to the file in the file prefs, js - keep the brake line formatting intact. The extensions created after the era of Firefox 2.0 or 3.0, due to changes in the 'rules' for creating extensions usually are not a problem, but some real old extensions that need only "minor" since that time can still use absolute paths - even though I have not seen myself since Firefox Firefox 3.6 or 4.0.

View instead of 'Modules' I mentioned the 4 types of 'Modules' separately - Plugins are seen as 'Add-ons', but they are not installed in the profile [except those mislabelled as a "plugin", when they are installed via an XPI file], but rather in the operating system where Firefox 'find' through the registry.

Note: Migration articles can tell you do not re - use the prefs.js file, due to an issue that I feel is easily fixed with a little inspection and editing. I think you can manage that my perception is that you have a small shovel in your tool box, if you encounter a problem you are able to do a little digging and fixing problems with the paths to files - once you have been warned.

Overall, if you go Firefox 35 35 or even Firefox 34 to 35, I don't think you will run in all the problems that you can not handle [that I cross my fingers and "hope" that I'm not on what it is obvious].

With regard to the recovery of the 'data' for individual extensions - there are many ways that extension developers used to store their data and pref. The original way should save in prefs.js or their own file RDF in the profile folder. While Firefox has been developed more, developers started using their own files in the profile folder. And because Mozilla has started using sqlite database files in Firefox 3.0, Mozilla extended their own use of sqlite, as have extension developers.
Elegant uses the file stylish.sqlite to store 'styles', but something in the back of my mine tells me that 'the index' maybe not in this file with the data. But then again, I can be confusing myself a question I had with GreaseMonkey awhile back where I copied the gm_scripts folder in a new profile and with already installed GreaseMonkey but with no script. These GM scripts worked, but I could not see them or modify them - they do not appear in the user GM extension interface window in Firefox.

  • The add-on works with Firefox 33.0 on a single computer, but on a different computer, Firefox 33.0 indicates that the module is not compatible.

I have a laptop and a desktop computer. Both are HP and both have recently been updated with the latest version of 8.1 and 33.0 Firefox Windows. On the desktop, Norton Toolbar still works fine. However, on the laptop, Norton Toolbar is disabled and the modules Web page has a message saying that Norton Toolbar is not compatible with Firefox 33.0. Why is this compatible on my desk, but not on my laptop?

Hello, according to norton toolbar is already compatible with firefox versions, including the current version. Please run the norton utility liveupdate repeatedly & until all components are up-to-date. Additionally, make sure that the toolbar is enabled under firefox > addons > extension thereafter.

    Hello

Please check if a green icon is added to the left of the icon in the Web site address bar after clicking on Add to Firefox. If it appears, click it, check the message and select the desired action.

Another reason could be that the extension could block Javascript or other features of the site.
