  Hi all!

  This is a rather confusing questions and about * me off no end!  I know that some of you may have encountered this already and could have a potential solution?

  I have an Acer Aspire all-in-one, AZ5101 (Aspire Z5101), with 4 GB of RAM, etc..

  Since the Developer Preview of Windows 8 came out, I've been running Windows 8 perfectly.  I completely uninstalled (each time itself) and run the following:

  Windows 8 Developer Preview, 64-bit

  Windows 8 Preview of consumer, 64-bit

  Windows 8 Preview, 64-bit version

  In any case, on this PC worked perfectly - y INCLUSIVE of the TOUCH SCREEN.  I never had a problem.

  So far so good.  Then, they finally released updates Windows 8 Pro official licensed by download.  I bought the upgrade and downloaded.  Just like in * ALL * other cases, upgrade, I chose "keep nothing" of the old system (I never really got all the important data on here), and do the upgrade itself.

  After the upgrade was complete, and ALL Windows 8 Pro updates have been applied by Windows update, I have a system where the screen is clear and precise, everything works, and all devices in Device Manager, show the Greens well, it works fine - NO ERRORS.  HOWEVER - NO CONTACT!  No touch no screen function at all.  The screen now has this time as a standard monitor.

  I tried the driver Idéacom - no luck.  Anyone know (please? LOL) how to get the touch screen to work again?  Thank you very much!  I really appreciate any help you can give.  Microsoft technical support had NO idea and no reply emails from Acer! Laughing out loud

  I understand that you are looking for a way to override the expiration date for all-in-one printer, HP Photosmart C5280 ink cartridge. I want to offer you information about expiration dates.

  Expiration dates can be reset on cartridges. But expired cartridges should work correctly in your HP Photosmart too long that the cartridges have been installed on your printer before expiry. If you bought new cartridges that have already expired they likely won't work in your printer and there is no replacement for that cartridges are expired. If this is the case, you may want to consider bringing back them to the store or speaking with our Technical Support phone queue to explore additional options.

  If you had a cartridge installed in your HP Photosmart camera and would use very well and at random, to get the message that the cartridge has not expired, you should be able to hit OK on this message and continue using the printer as per normal.

  Purchased a new HP Officejet 8615 e All in One and finally got it working after hours of shyte with unistalls and reinstalls. Now it works, but it prints documents with best quality of my laptop, iphone, ipad, and acer. From the pc, it prints out horribly. Downloaded a software/driver full features and always bad impressions from the pc.

  He is currently connected wireless. The printer test pages are all of good quality, all in colour. Scan doc says it all is green and works correctly.

  Obviously, there is something missing on my pc...

  Any ideas would be useful.

  Yes, it sounds like a driver problem. You should have a lot more options at your disposal.

  I checked online and the only available drivers are the base drivers. I suggest you update this driver to see if you have additional features that are available for the Windows XP computer.

  In the windows printers and faxes, right-click the printer and then click printer properties.

  Click the Advanced tab.

  Click new driver.

  Next.

  Select the HP Deskjet 990c printer, then continue the wizard.

  Apply the settings.

  Check the print settings and try them and print them out to see if the quality is improved.

I tried the disc and online, I tried the help-majig trick but it won't install, when it says 'Install impossible' I click on details but it just comes up with "Installation Failed"... Yes, thanks for the help, Captain Obvious!

  Get the drivewr package and install it according to the instructions. Do not fix the uinit computer until direct by the instructions written wherther or screen.

• Printer send error reports all-in-one HP PSC 2355 'remove and check color cartridge '.

  When sending of works for the all-in-one printer HP PSC 2355 of my laptop Acer Aspire with Windows XP and a USB connecton,

  I get an error message on the screen flip to say remove and check color cartridge. I do this, but nothing has changed and now the switch does not work either as a result I can't do anything, it's just frozen.

  Because the printer is frozen we will start by doing a reset of the printer. Instructions available via this link and posted directly below as well.

  My dell is not detect a 2nd monitor when I connect it to my Acer monitor.  I tried to use the VGA cable with a HDMI adapter.  I also tried to use a DVI cable to HDMI.  The Acer monitor only has VGA and DVI - D connections?  Is there another way to connect the 2nd monitor?

  You can consider using a USB2 > DVI - D or USB2 > adapter VGA to connect the second monitor, but they are not exactly cheap.

  And if you buy one of these adapters, make sure that the one you get can clone (1) internal display, (2) extend the desktop on 2 screens and (3) show 2 different screens simultaneously and is compatible with any version of Windows that you are using.

  Installation instructions

  5. Download the software on your computer.

• Epson all-in - One Printer Driver Runtime error

  I'm having trouble with the installation of the printer drivers for an all-in-one Epson Stylus 7520 which is shared on a network.  When you try to install the software, I get this error:

  Runtime error!

  Program:

  C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\x64\3\E_YATIHDA. EXE

  R6034

  An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime incorrectly library.

  For more information, contact the application support team.

  This error will continue regularly until I have turn off the print spooler in services tab.  If I use the print command in any program, this program will immediately freeze and require a force close by the Task Manager.  To completely uninstall the software print spooler must remain disabled, else it will give an error that it is in use.  After uninstalling using Add/Remove programs so that I have to manually go in system32\spool\DRIVERS\ files remove traces remains of the software (including the offending .exe program).

  When I say the machine to locate the drivers alone, it will bring up a window with the "WSD printing device" and an icon indicating that it is busy, which will eventually turn into a red X indicating that he failed to find a driver.

  Default Epson software package includes bells and whistles as a utility that monitors ink levels and checks the firmware updates, which inevitably cause this error.

  But Epson also allows you to download driver separately this package.  When I install just the driver, no error message appears, the computer communicates with the printer and use the functions scanner and fax without error (it displays its IP address, MAC address and even to send print orders), but it does not actually print a file.  The work appears in the status display of the printer on the computer, but eventually the delay and error.

  The machine that gives me the error is an Acer with Windows 7 Pro installed by the manufacturer.  It's a whole new machine.

  These same drivers work without error on a HP Windows 7 Home machine installed by the manufacturer, as well as several XP machines we are trying to eliminate out of use.

  Both machines also have a Konica Minolta printer installed that they will print to any question.

  After researching the issue, Epson insists that there is nothing wrong with their pilots, but I will communicate their support today.  If they come up with a solution I will try to remember to post it for the benefit of others.

  I have tried many suggestions available online without any change in the results:

  Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times since the epson CD.

  Run windows update.
  Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times with the latest drivers available on the epson site.

  Checked that I use the 64-bit and 32-bit drivers.

  Run "scannow" which gave no abnormal results.

  Delete all the files in the AppData/Temp folder

  Reassigned to the location of the temp folder.

  Tried to install with the Windows Firewall disabled.

  Removed from the McAffee trial provided with the machine entirely.

  I have not tried to uninstall and reinstall the software C ++ yet (as suggested in similar topics) that other users have pointed out, it does not solve the problem.

  In my case, this was due to a conflict with Acer Proshield. I removed Acer Proshield, then the driver is installed correctly.

• All in One Photosmart C4585

  Has been connected to my lap top via BT Home hub wireless link and work. Order and any attempt failed, unit has taken over and replaced yesterday. Nations United installed all previuous software and tried to install. Wireless will not work. When you try to configure the network I get the error message #201 VSA or UDP port 427 is blocked due to firewall issues.

  Laptop is Acer Extensa 5620ZG XP pro

  I have connected to the printer via USB and everything works fine

  My wireless works fine as I have an internet link through my BT home hub

  I printed my HP network configuration page, and I have the IP address as 192.168.1.92

  I ping that IP in the back and it times out

  Now for the confusion, if I try and set up a new network and print my network settings wireless network SSID name is shown as the letters and numbers in my wireless network settings and letters BTHomeHub-then on the HP Network page

  Help please cos I'm now out of my depth and ideas

  Follow these steps to set up the printer on the network

  Perform a semi full to reset the network settings.

  1. use the key to activate the product.

  2. Press simultaneously the buttons 'Cancel (X)' and 'Power' and then release both keys.

  3. press the button 'blue', 'Green button', then 'black' button Menu support displayed on the control panel.

  4. press the blue button twice. The Support menu displayed on the control panel.

  5. press the "green button" OK. The menu reset displays on the control panel.

  6. press the blue button twice. The poster of semi full reset on the control panel.

  7. press "Green button", OK.

  8. the display of the printer shuts off. Press the key and reset complete.

  Note - Reseting the all-in-one erase all settings and logs.

  After resetting the all-in-one, on the computer insert the software Cd and browse the Cd software of file Util > CCC folder > uninstall_l3.
  Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer.

  Unlock the ports associated with the all-in-One in Windows Firewall

  * 427 incoming UDP
  * 427 UDP outgoing
  * UDP outgoing 161
  * 139 UDP outgoing
  * TCP outgoing 139
  * 9100 TCP outgoing
  * 9220 outgoing TCP

  * 9500 outgoing TCP

  Note if there any other firewall configure all Ports mentioned and the files listed below:

  Start the installation and the network installation will be quick printer not found on the network, click next to continue, then it will invite temporarily connect the usb cable connect, and follow the instructions on the screen.
  Then it will give the list your network name (SSID) select and continue, enter the encryption, as appropriate (network security).
  Complete the installation.
