Acer Aspire R7 update - 571 RAM memory

I have an Acer Aspire R7-571. On the card it says that the RAM can be extended up to 12 GB of RAM. I can still put 16 Meg RAM? Would it be more useful or would that be a problem? Right now I have 2 x 4 GB. Thank you

First of all, you shouldn't need more than 8 GB total unless you do something REMARKABLY memory-intensive. My high-end desktop computer has 8 GB and it would be cheap and easy for me to change that to 16 GB, but it is simply not worth it. 8GB is fine for 98% of the population, if your uses include office, even high-end navigation on Internet or games.

If YOU really need more than 8 GB, I think that you will be limited to 12 GB. On the R7, 4 GB tends to be soldered on the motherboard. You can replace your other 4 GB SODIMM with a 8GB SODIMM for 12GB total.

You can always get a torx screwdriver and open it to look.

But you should be fine with 8.

If you are looking for a performance boost, according to this Factsheet you linked, the R7-571 in your country does understand not all SSD. You should have a port empty MSATA that you can use with an MSATA SSD. Pass your windows the 1 TB HDD for an MSATA SSD will make much more sensitive.

  • WINDOWS 7 STARTER/ACER ASPIRE ONE UPDATE HELP

I have a brand new Acer Aspire One Netbook.  It is brand new, so after I did the initial installation for the new netbook, Windows 7 is an update.  When the update is complete, it blocks my netbook.  I get a black screen and a cursor only.  The only way I can fix it is to restore back to the factory and start all over again.  Anyone know why this is happening or that updates 62 is the cause? I basically can't update my OS until it is fixed or know where it is and it can check the updated list.

You say you have 62 updates. The only true way to know what update is the cause of the problem is by installing one at a time.

I was looking especially the optional updates as shows drivers etc. If you are offered drivers, you should consult the manufacturer's website to see if indeed you really need the updated drivers.

  • ACER Aspire 4 gig of ram used only 1.74, how can I fix this?

    Hello

I hope that I chose the right forum, if not, please go to the right place.

I have an ACER Aspire 5552-5686, Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics card. I have the latest version of my bios, 2.14

I have 4 GB of RAM, but windows says only 1.74 is usable. This makes the really small system.

The bios shows 256 MB is reserved for the video card, but there is no way to change the value.

I installed the driver of the card later, he says that 893 MB is used for the video card. Here are the screenshots, sorry, french system:

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

It is the ram that came with your computer and how long have you had?

Looks like one of the sticks failed. He knows that it is there, but cannot use it. That's why you have available 1.7. The autres.3 is used by the video card.

I opened the bottom of your laptop to make sure that the ram is placed correctly.

I'm not sure that your skill level thech but you can remove a stick and see if it boots always. You should see 2 GB available ram usable 1.7. Clear this check box and move the sticks. If it doesn't start with a single one of the sticks then theres your problem. You must replace a stick of RAM.

Well my beautiful old V5-171 has started playing the other months. Long story short; I am now looking to update the bios. It was directed by the original (v1.02) which I upgraded v1.09, but the update will not install anything from 2.x; It gives just an error message stating install a bios from 1.x.

No, you can not if your V5 has windows 7 factory, even if you updated to windows 8.x

the xx version 2 works only on the V5 with windows factory 8.x.

  • Acer Aspire V3 update - 772G graphics card

Hello everyone. I asked on reddit and did some research and finally discovered that I couldn't upgrade my laptop graphics card the traditional way. However, someone suggested that I use the eGPU but what he told me to check if my laptop it would support. I would also like to know the implications of this facility (someone said that I might have to remove features wireless for my laptop).

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    Short answer, not worth.

Most of the commercial version of the eGPU there connects via thunderbolt 3 and you do not have such a port to connect a unit in the first place.

The person who told you about loss of functionality of the WIFI card for sure suggested to your own eGPU, linking on the PCIe slot, which would connect the wifi card. It's something that requires a lot of knowledge and more important still, it no longer a plug of a game, and no one can even guarantee that even if do you it by yourself, it would work. Of course, there are some external adapters that would link the graphics card on the PCIe slot where the wifi card should be, but as I said above no one can guarantee that it will work. In addition, you will need to always have the open notebook, or make a kind of 'hole' in order to manage the connection, since the PCIe port is, of course, inside the laptop.

Power and charge LED flashing LIGHT. and when I try to play without battery only HQ of the laptop is suddenly shutsdown. but when normal im use fees normally. Please, someone knows how to solve this problem.

It is not do immediately, but after you've played for a while right?

You use a lot of battery power and charger heat when it loads at full power

For a long time. As it is too hot it starts decrease amount of current continuous puts it.

What you see is the default of shipper. You must find a way of cooling of the device when you play for a long time. You can also get a new charger. It wouldn't surprise me if that one has already suffered some damage. Not getting does not load can also damage the laptop.

In fact, you have 2 sticks of memory 667 MHz. In dual channel, it means to 1333 MHz.

    Specifications of aspire V3 - 571 G-9686:

    Chipset: Mobile Intel HM77 Express.

    Processor: Intel Core i7-3632QM

Integrated graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M - 2 GB RAM DDR3

You can upgrade up to 8 GB (2x4gb) and Max frequency 1600 MHz. For example: If you install a single stick of 4 GB - 1600 MHz, it is single-channel: 1600/2 = 800 MHz.
