Acer Aspire V3 - 571G not hot.
I have an Acer Aspire V3-571G53216G50Makk for 3 years now.
But since it's new it kept to reach high temperatures.
And when I'm games it comes in close to 100 ° C, which is not good for the GPU & CPU.
But the problem is that the fan does not spin at 100%.
Does anyone have a solution to change the fan speed?
Things like Speedfan, Acer FanController do not work.
Or if Acer could update FanController program, it would be useful.
I hope someone could help me
Well, to my knowledge there no software provided by Acer that could help you control the speed of the fan for your computer. I had some heat issues with my laptop, and some people suggested me to change the thermal paste. I did and I got a temperature much better after changing thermal paste in some applications (notably for the GPU), but in other cases, the only thing I did is to reduce the thermal regulation. For example in AIDA64 extreme stress test usually my CPU was about 2.2 Ghz front at full load (97 C) due to the thermal regulation. After changing thermal paste, my CPU running constantly at about 2, 9 - 3.0 Ghz (97). (I7-4720HQ processor 2.6 ghz) So I had less control but as you can see it the same temperature. Overall is a very good improvement in my opinion.
Then you can try to change the thermal paste and see if this can help you. However, this idea is not very good if you do not have a good understanding of the computer and also a good guide to how to disassemble your computer.

I've had this laptop for 4 months, I am simply to start playing and noticed the tempeature maybe too hot
At the office, I get: 52-60 degrees celsius for cpu depends on its use, when I start to play like the League of legends my cpu goes to 80-86 in far cry 3 comparable same somteimes 88-90, is it safe?
My config: Core I 5 3230 M, Geforce 710 M with 2 GB of video memory to 8 GB of ram
Another problem: I can not install epower I download the old installation succsesfull version but after reset, I can not any iterface and cannot start the program.
If you use your score to play most of the time, I think it's quite normal, if it's hot. I want to say hot "tolerable".
And if the answer is Yes, then the warranty service would free it will affect my warranty? In addition, should what kind of RAM I look for if I want to upgrade? Aries will be added to the existing RAM and it will replace it?
I'm sorry for so many questions, my English and my ignorance when it comes to upgrading a laptop. And is all what I should know about upgrading RAM as it might damage the data on my disk, etc. ?
I still have the warranty and the stamp is still there.
- Intel Core i5-5200U 2.20 GHz
- NVIDIA GeForce dedicated 820 m with 2 GB of VRAM
- HARD DRIVE 500 GB
- 4GB DDR3 Memory (RAM) L
- Windows 10 Pro (i think)
I know not if Acer will modernize under warranty, you must remove the motherboard to increase the RAM, the installation of CPU - Z to find out the exact your RAM specifications, then buy with timing and characteristics and to update yourself, if you are not sure to dismantle get performed by a technician on site, you can find the cost of this upgrade for your support of Acer local as they can do for one, compare prices with the quote from your local technician.
You will lose all the data from your hard drive because of the upgrade of RAM but I tell reflect you to back up the entire system on an external hard drive using Macrium or similar utility.
This is to show you how to upgrade and what is at stake:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmsFDi_qsnQ
This is just one example to show how to find the upgrade for your laptop and you don't need to buy Crucial memory, any brand works as long as they match the same characteristics as your current RAM.
I have an acer aspire V3 - 571G, unfortunately, I lost my hard = active operating system disc
I found a way to get the serial number of the bios, but I need to know the version of operating system, I installed windows 8 pro but he would not accept the activation code... so can you please help me?
If this isn't Pro, he is very probably Windows 8 (Core). This is the standard edition of windows 8 and is called only (Basic) to distinguish it from the OS itself.
UPDATE: after checking on support.acer.com, it's appears the newest operating system for your computer is: 8.1 Windows 64-bit
I can get a good deal on a laptop Acer Aspire E5 - 571G - 59 CT.
However, there is a downside. They keyboard is in German. I think that the German layout is QWERTZ?
in any case, I want to know if it is possible to replace the keyboard with a keyboard with a United-States-layout (QWERTY).
I noticed several online shops offer keyboards, but I'd rather be safe on this fact.
I can find keyboards, with provision of the United States, for Acer Aspire E5 - 571 G '-part, but not for the TC model 59. Does it matter? I think that the last part is reserved for configuration, right? If anyone can confirm this?
So far, thanks for responding. Very much appreciated.
Yes, the last characters are the configuration for this country (Germany).
You actually have this keyboard:
NK. I171S.00D KEYBOARD (GERMAN) NK. I1713.05P KEYBD.104K.BLACK.GERMAN
You will need these U.S. keyboard:
NK. I1713.066 KEYBD. US - INT.103KS BLK NK. I171S.00W KEYBD.103K.BLACK.US - INT.WIN8
Hello! I have an Acer aspire V3 - 571G. But I have a problem now, when I boot, the screen with the Acer logo appears, with the message: "Analysis and repair Drive (E): 27% Complete" and it never moves from 27 percent. So I unplugged the computer sometimes and sometimes a message asking me to restore to an earlier version. Once I tried to restore, a screen with the Acer logo appears. Before I restarted the computer and had this problem, I downloaded a scanning software from disk on the Ookla Speedtest site, but since he cannot solve all the problems, I downloaded another similar software by AVG Netherlands BV and fixed all the problems. Then they said that I needed to fix something in the Device Manager (3 of my miniports were not work) so I looked on the net for a solution, that I followed and uninstalled all 3 miniports. After the AVG scan, it asked me to restart, which I did later and could not get more in Windows. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I finally solved this problem! After starting, press F9, and then click "restore." Then you will need to be patient and start the computer normally will be! Here it helps other people with this problem too.

· You get an error message or an error code?
· Have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
Follow these methods.
Method 1: Try starting it in last known good configuration.
Method 2: Try to start in safe mode.
If you are able to boot into safe mode, try a clean boot.
Note: After the clean boot for troubleshooting, return the computer to a Normal startupmode.
Method 3: Disconnect external devices such as printer, scanner, etc. and try to start.
Also disable automatic restart in the event of system failure
The microphone on my acer aspire one netbook does not work. I am running windows XP on the netbook and had this problem once before some time back, but can't remember what the person tech told me to uninstall that does the job all of a sudden again. I use also the audio if it helps Realtek HD. I tried several times to update the drivers and reinstall the software from the acer site, it does not work... any suggestions?
Thank you for your message.
I see that you are facing problems with the built-in microphone.
Let's not worry! I'm here to help.
1. what exactly happens when you use the built-in microphone? You receive an error message?
2. What is the status of the device in Device Manager?
Check out this link to learn more about device manager:
By using Device Manager
Let's try the following and check:
We will adjust the volume of your microphone and check if it is set as default.
(a) right click on the "speaker" icon located on the bottom right corner the screen of the taskbar.
(b) click on sounds, click on the recording tab.
(c) click Microphone, and then click Properties. (Note to make sure that this work appears under Microphone. If the job does not appear, click on Microphoneand then click set as default.)
(d) in the Properties of the Microphone dialog box, click the custom tab.
(e) select or clear the check box Amp Microphone .
(f) click the levels tab.
(g) set the slider for the volume to the desired level, and then click OK.
(h) click on OK to close the sound dialog box.
I would also say that you update the drivers for your Microphone and looking for the issue.

A few weeks ago, my laptop Acer Aspire R14 went totally blank. When I unplugged the power cord, it started right to the top, but at the moment where I plugged the power cord back inside would be closed. The battery dies quickly in this way, because it would not charge. I removed the battery then it started upward with the power cord. I thought it must be the battery, so I installed a new battery. which is not to change the problem.
So, I ordered a new motherboard and after a few weeks, I received it today, installed, and I have always the same thing. It works well with the power cord plugged in until the battery is disconnected. But at the time wherever I connect the battery, everything stops, not to be revived unless I disconnect the battery.
I need help! What could be the problem?
Glad I could help.
I've had my Aspire E1 - 571G for about 2 years now.
3230 M i5
12 GB of RAM (1x4Go) (1x8GB) - 1333 MHz (updated original 4 GB of RAM)
WD 500 GB (5400 RPM) HARD DRIVE
Windows 7 Ultimate x 64
He began to develop a problem then load, whenever I have it plug, it makes its normal beep and the charging light lights up and indicates that the laptop is charging.
After about 30 seconds, it will beep once again, telling me that the charger was unplugged (which he did not), he stops in charge, the charge indicator and power light flashes and the laptop stops loading.
Before the question wasn't that annoying, I had to plug in charger at a certain angle and she would charge very well. This no longer works.
It stops just the load after 30 seconds I plug in the charger.
I ordered a new battery after I read somewhere that this is a related issue. New battery and battery show the same results.
What could be the cause of the problem here?
I did a fresh install of Win7, deleted the drivers of the battery from the Device Manager, rebooted so that they would be re - install. Nothing has worked.
Any response would be greatly appreciated.
Slightly straighten this part (see attachment).
I bought an acer aspire switch 12 a week ago and the blue light on the keyboard, but the computer does not detect any keyboard. I tried to contact acer support, but I get no answer. What should I do?
Please excuse my poor English level, there is no french version for this site.
Yes, I used the power button, but I found what was the problem and I fixed it:
I went into the menu "Solve problems" and he detected disabled controllers like USB, Bluetooth... Then Windows fixed that and I have no more problem.
My Acer Aspire 5741 G would become too hot using Debian GNU/Linux.
Any ideas on how to get the same cooling effect as with Windows 08/07/10?
Using Microsoft Windows, it is never too hot and I suppose it has something to do with the control of the fans of the laptop.
Had no luck with the bios, but it looks like I solved the problem for now.
For those who have a similar problem, here is my solution:
1. I installed the driver real official owner of AMD for the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470.
2. I completely disassembled and cleaned the laptop then assembled again.
Now, I have worked with him for more than 6 hours and I can't have more than 50 degrees celsius in all hearts.
I think / hope that should do the trick until the end of the lifetime of the laptop.
Thanks to the community for your thoughts.

After you install a HD on my Acer Aspire One wireless mouse, the Synaptics Touchpad works not at all even if feataure troubleshooting indicates it works correctly. Default is always to the wireless mouse. I tried to deavtivating the wireless mouse and reset to factory manufacturer. This does not re-enable the Touchpad.
Try Fn + F7. This option turns the touchpad on and outside.
