Acer laptop computer unknown device

Hello

I recently bought Acer aspire ES1 - 711 g.

I encountered a problem with the drivers, in my device manager it is an 'unknown device' with these identifiers:

1 IUSB3\ROOT_HUB30 & VID_8086 & PID_0F35 & REV_000E & SID_093A1025

2 IUSB3\ROOT_HUB30 & VID_8086 & PID_0F35 & REV_000E

3 IUSB3\ROOT_HUB30 & VID_8086 & PID_0F35

I should also add that my usb ports do not work, so these 2 things may be related. I tried to install _USB_3.0_eXtensible_Host_Controller_Driver Intel (R) but I received a message that I do not meet the requiremens of the minimum configuration to install it.

Thanks in advance

Windows 8.1?

AFAIK, you don't need to install drivers for Intel USB3.0 8.x on windows

Please check if a USB3.0 driver is installed and uninstall.

also in Device Manager, right-click on the USB3.0 with the yellow exclamation point and choose uninstall and then reboot.

I would like to know if I can install vmware player on my laptop I got an error message saying that I didn't have something. Thank U

For a typical host system, we recommend that you have a 1 GHz or faster processor (2 GHz recommended) and 1 GB of RAM minimum (2 GB RAM) recommended. You need to have enough memory to run the host operating system, more memory required for each guest operating system and for applications on the host and the guest.

I'm sorry to say this, but your laptop can't run VM player. I doubt that you can install VMware Player on it. Even if you manage to it won't be of any use. Is only useful if you have more than 4 GB of RAM to execute at least one or two reviews of the virtual computer.

    Hi there @Sweeto684

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, so many other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff.

I understand that your fingerprint reader is not working and that your system is running very slow, but please clarify what you mean by saying that you have lost the recovery data. Are you referring to the factory stored on your system recovery image, or are you meaning something else?

I'm happy to help with all this, but need to know more before I can make useful recommendations. I want to avoid having to make you something that could cause a problem with something else, until I know what the problem really is.

Try to remove the GEARAspiWDM entry.

To remove the GEARAspiWDM entry double-click UpperFilters and, under value data, delete GEARAspiWDM > OK

Create a system restore point beforehand and restart the computer after.

However, if you have an application that uses the GEARAspiWDM, like iTunes, just install the latest version of hardware drivers (4.020.5) and that no changes to the registry:

Updated speed drivers should also correct the mistake.

  • Pavilion DV6-2010EQ: unknown device in my laptop DV6

I have an unknown device which can not find the drivers for Windows. I can't figure out what it could be. The most peripheral "exotic", as the receiver IR remote, are already installed and things seem to work as usual on my computer.

The device is listed as (ISA), 0 x 00000017 (23) Unknown device.

It is listed as an unknown device.

It is connected to the PCI Express root complex.

Connection/resource type is interrupt request (IRQ).

Someone has an idea of what it could be?

Nevermind, I found it, it's the accelerometer lets you stop the hard drive in case of falls, thumbles and whatnot. It is now listed as Sensor HP Mobile Data Protection. I don't know if it works with Windows 10 or with any type of hard disk. None of them were originally on the laptop.

  • Unknown device on network adapter between the laptop and the wireless router

I am running windows 7 64 bit on a laptop computer connected wireless to the router and internet.  The router is Linksys WRT160N connected to the internet.  The map of the network, there is a question mark device unknown between the laptop and the router.  However, I still have access to the internet.  In terms of network, if I hover over the laptop, it does not show an IP address.  It only shows the name of the computer and its MAC address.  Any help would be appreciated.

Solved my problem.  I checked the button of the IPv6 protocol in the properties of a network connection on the laptop, and now I can see it's the IP address and the unknown device has been replaced by a switch and hub which is part of the router.   I do not uncheck the button IPV4.  I'm guessing that it is a bug in Windows 7 that you need to cut of ipV6 Protocol when you have a Win XP computer on the network if you want to see a map of own network.  As I said before, everything worked before, so this seems to be a cosmetic fix only.  I see that my shared files on the XP computer appear faster after a reboot.

I have a Pavilion e9120y pc Edition Vista Home Premium, 64 bit, I bought almost 3 weeks ago and it has been one thing after another!

These days whenever I turn on the computer, I get a message that I need drivers.  I click OK, it looks at and then tells me that it cannot find.  I don't know what the drivers are for.   I looked in Device Manager and there is a list for other devices - unknown device. This info is given:

This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)
There is no driver selected for the item or a set of device information.

NeoSmart disk is to startup etc repair not reinstall

the process of acer administers the process of full recovery to the standards of the factory

you start from the acer recovery disk to start a reinstallation of vista, back to factory standards and follow the prompts

problem with the acer recovery process, you will need to contact acer

    It's their recovery process
