  I just use a regular USB cable to connect to windows computers, PC acts as a master. Near as I can tell you need a cable OTG to create another connection master / slave for example to connect two PCs.

Well, I traveled the four corners of the globe and found a square suitable OTG cable that works just as well without risk of damage. Yes, I tested these cables with the HID devices (keyboard, mouse and a digital camera) and they work perfectly with the Xoom. Unfortunately the portfolio will not close with these cables attached (not enough), but if you have a hole in your case, these keep the dongle or cord next to the Xoom while in the case.

  I have a USB OTG cable I got with my old Nokia N8 I used successfully with my Xperia Z. When I tried to plug this cable even in my Xperia Z3, it doesn't seem appropriate.  And I don't want to force, of course.

  Looking at the two ports close, connectors the Nokia N8 and Xperia Z look similar but the Z3 looks a little closer. From what I can tell on GSM Arena, all three devices claim to have Micro-USB v2.0 ports.

  I have an AT200-101 with an ICS 4.0 OS update and I can't get the USB hostmode working. After a lot of reading on the difference fine between the regualar (type B) USB connector and type A (called the OTG) I finally got the right adapter (it has a shape of recangular and ID - PIN is connected to the Earth).
