  DC XI & Acrobat Acrobat has been tested successfully on Windows 10.

  Other versions may or may not work, difficult to predict behavior.

  However, try to uninstall & reinstall the printer drivers.

  Also make sure that Acrobat 9 is updated.

  At present the HP utility does not work with Win 10 when using a USB connection. If this is your case, try to connect the printer to the network.

  I just downloaded the newly released Windows 8 iso and run the compatibility test. All material is supported in some way, even if there is mention to get the new drivers from Dell. However, the fingerprint reader is listed as being incompatible with Windows 8. I went to the homepage of the Digital Persona and they no longer support consumer products. Result is, I fight a machine from Dell which is less than 2 years old and is loaded with a piece of software is no longer supported by the vendor.   In general, I have no problems to install Microsoft, Corel, product HP software products products AV, dozens of others products of companies on my computer Windows 7 Home Premium. I never had problems installing Adobe products on ME, XP, Vista. However, each recent Adobe product, I bought have failed to install on Windows 7 Home Premium and this usually takes several hours to fix, if it can be fixed at all. It involves the creation of new accounts, disabling services, disable UAC, making restarts partial (I didn't even know those existed) and restarts normal, etc. (I have administrative rights on my purchases.

  Today I was working (taken from my desktop computer control) customer service. We failed to install Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.

  During installation, a windows dialog box displayed where it says that the Adobe installation .exe file is incompatible with the Windows UAC.

  There is clearly something wrong with the installation program Adobe because Adobe products are the only products that can not be installed.

  Why is it so difficult tp install Adobe products on a Windows 7 system?

  To add to what has been written, install programs as an administrator

  usually results in fewer problems. Regardless if the account has

  permissions administrative, should always right click on the installer and run as administrator.

  What you're saying, the problem must be something special on your computer.
