• Recently, Firefox does not display PDF files. It acts like it loads the PDF file, but there is nothing there but the "program" that the document should be presented in.

  Hold down the option key and select go ▹ library in the Finder menu bar. In the library folder, delete the following, if they exist:

  Containers/com.apple.Preview

  Containers/com. Apple.QuickLook.UI.Helper

  Group Containers/com.apple.Preview

  Preferences/com.apple.Preview.LSSharedFileList.plist

  Preferences/com.apple.Preview.SandboxedPersistentURLs.LSSharedFileList.plist

  State/com.apple.Preview.savedState request registered

  Sign out and then sign back in. Launch the application and test.

  (a) this only happens with PDF files?  Do you get specific error messages?

  (b) are you able to print PDF files online?

  To determine the cause of the printing problem, I suggest you try the following steps:

  Step 1: Print another PDF file, such as the first page of Acrobat Help:

  If that file prints correctly, the PDF file that does not print properly may be damaged.

  If the file prints correctly, go to step 2.

  Step 2: Print another type of file (for example, a .txt file) from another application.

  If that file prints correctly, the problem is not systemic - specific to the Acrobat product. However, the way Acrobat interacts with the system may affect printing performance.

  Go to step 3 to eliminate some causes related to the system of the problem.

  The problem may be system resources low, not enough memory on your printer, or a bad connection between your computer and the printer.

  Step 3: Restart your computer and then print a PDF file:

  If the file prints correctly, your system may have been out of memory or resources.

  If the file prints correctly, go to step 4.

  Step 4: Turn off your printer for at least 15 seconds to clear the memory, then turn it back on and print a PDF file:

  If the file prints correctly, the printer's memory was too full.

• C5580 does not print pdf files

  My HP Photosmart C5580 all-in-one print and copy perfectly except for PDF files.  When you try to print the PDF files, whether on the web or on my hard drive, a blank sheet of paper is passed through the printer and I get an error message saying there is a paper jam.  However, there is no paper jam.  I contacted HP support twice by phone.  Every time they say they'll call me in 1 hour with the solution, but they do not return calls.

  I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program, and now the printer works perfectly.  Hope this helps someone else in the future.

• Changes to pages are not displayed when Site previewing in the browser

  I've made a few changes to a couple of pages, and when I saw Page in the browser, the changes appear but when I saw Site in the browser, the changes aren't there and the old page is displayed, even if some of the information on the original page has been deleted.   While this works for me, since I can read Chinese and English, it feels weird, because I'm in the United States, and my everyday language is English.
  I don't know how it happened and how to revert to English. I change not all parameters before (except Chinese addition as 2nd choice of language).
  When I check the language and region settings, my position is still US showing (as current residence). English is always my first choice of language.
  The language of choice of the non-unicode program was "English". I changed it in Chinese (Simplified) as you suggest.

• Nexus10 version does not support pdf files in the web site.

  Click Advanced.

  Check the print as Image option.

  Now try printing and search of any change.
