Acrobat freezes during the repair?

I recently installed Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro on my Mac Pro (running OS X Yosimite), and when I open it, I get a pop up that says:

"Acrobat has detected that there are missing components that need to be repaired. Select the optional components that you want to repair, and then click on continue. Disable a component to uninstall completely. Click Cancel to cancel the process of component repair.

> Adobe PDF Printer (file to create an Adobe PDF from any application by printing to the Adobe PDF printer. "This will reconfigure the Adobe PDF printer).

> Adobe PDFViewer Plugin Safari (view, fill-in, and collaborate on Adobe PDF documents in Safari.) »

When I click on continue, Acrobat just hangs. I left it for 2 hours with no result. If I click Cancel, sometimes it freezes, sometimes it opens. I have the same Acrobat installed on my old Mac Pro (under Snow Leopard) and have never had any problems like that.

Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?

Hey SaltwaterStyle,

Acrobat 9 is not compatible with MAC Yosemite, which might be the reason why you get this error.

Reference: ucts.html https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/system-requirements-acrobat-family-prod

I suggest you to upgrade your software version to avoid these problems.

Hope it will be useful.

    Hello

I think that in this case you must go to an authorized service provider. If the laptop freeze during the BIOS update module ROM needs to be reflashed.

On the Toshiba site, you can search nearest ASP and download all the drivers. Check this box:

  • Freezes during the boot process

Hi, my computer is HP Pavilion Slimline s3300f desktop. Started to freeze during startup at various points all the time. And now if he charges upward it takes me directly to the Recovery Manager and it takes me to the Microsoft system recovery. Does that mean that my hard drive has failed? And all the lost data?
And what should I do gel?
    Please help and thank you!

    Hello mastasergio,

You have a few ongoing issues.

A system is damaged and must be reinstalled. The hard drive is probably fine, however the data on the hard drive (OS) are not. Run the system recovery and recover your computer in a State of system costs.

If you were not backup your data, it can be lost.

What you need to do if you were not backup your data is to remove the hard drive of the computer and add it as a slave on another computer disc. Copy all the important files on the hard drive and save them elsewhere temporarily until you can reinstall the operating system on the HARD drive.

It could be two or three reasons why you experience the problem regarding the World of Warcraft online game. Windows might need to install all important updates, there could be corrupted in the system, outdated driver files or the size of the memory.

We suggest you to check and install all important Windows Update.

If the problem persists you can update graphics cards via the Device Manager.

    • Press Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc , and then click OK.
    • Double-click display adapters.

  • Apple Watch freezes during the race

I used my Apple Watch during a 21K run. I used the training software to monitor my heart rate during the race.

After the mark at halfway, the screen dimmed, and the screen froze. (stopped adding distance, and heart rate has been replaced by '-'.)

thinking that it was because of the excessive sweat on the sensors, I tried to wipe the back of the better watch that I have (which is not a lot considering everything that I had on me was wet). by pressing the digital Crown to return the screen to the face of the watch, but whenever I go to the app to drive he would show the same frozen screen.

It is only after a kilometer (about 7 minutes) made the response to training app and worked normally until the end of the race.

for the purposes of the workout on my Apple Watch concerns, I had only run 19,71 km instead of the 21 K who I actually ran.

question: How can I prevent this happening again?

    Hello

As a first step, if you have not already done so, it can help to upgrade your iPhone and Apple Watch to the latest version of the software, from your iPhone:

It can also help to revive your watch:

When he went to restart, shut down Windows Update screen came and it says do not disconnect or turn off the computer, and it is installing update 1 of 1. It has been frozen there for the last hour. Any ideas?

The update is not installed successfully, you receive a message, and the computer restarts when you try to install an update in Windows Vista

    =====================================
Not really a definitive right answer... just some info...

Have you tried to insert your memory card into a media
drive and copy / paste the .mov files into a folder on your
    hard drive.

Apple QuickTime .mov files require a compatible support
Player... perhaps the following links will propose a few ideas:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

The components of the 3ivx decoder read
most MP4, M4A, 3GP, MOV and AVI files
with Audio MPEG-4 video and MPEG-4 AAC

    3ivx decoder
    http://www.3ivx.com/download/
(this should make Windows Media Player compatible
with the .mov files... I think that there is a 30 days trial version)

Also... the following freeware players can play QuickTime .mov files.

    Apple QuickTime
    http://www.Apple.com/QuickTime/Download/

    QuickTime Alternative
    http://www.codecpackguide.com/quicktimealt.htm

    VLC Media Player
    http://www.videolan.org/

    Media Player Classic
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_media_player_classic/
(just unzip and run it... (no installation required)

    Media Player Classic Home Cinema
    http://MPC-HC.sourceforge.NET/

If you want to install a pack of codecs... one of the following
    may be worth a try:

    * Proceed at your own risk *.

K - Lite Codec Pack (full)
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_klite_codec_pack/
FWIW... it is always preferable, if you create a system restore
point before installing any software or updates.

    CCCP (combined Community Codec Pack)
    http://CCCP-project.NET/

    Info about CCCP
    http://www.CCCP-project.NET/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page
(FWIW... it is always preferable, if you create a system restore
point before installing any software or updates)

FWIW... it may be useful to convert .mov files
    to a different format.

MOV is the format QuickTime from Apple and the
Software «QuickTime 7 Pro» allows to convert MOV files...
(this is the commercial version, not freeware)

    QuickTime 7 Pro
    http://store.Apple.com/us/product/D3381Z/A

Instructions for the conversion of the .mov files are on
page 42 of the .pdf document
    "Exporting files with QuickTime Pro".

    QuickTime 7.6 user guide
    http://images.Apple.com/QuickTime/PDF/QuickTime7_6_User_Guide.PDF

Or... you can use the following to freeware
convert .mov files to .avi format and
import into Windows Movie Maker for
combine them into a single video file .wmv or .avi.

Pazera Free MOV to AVI Converter
    http://www.Pazera-software.com/products/mov-to-AVI-Converter/
(click on the blue Download button not the Red)

The name of the file that you download is:
    'Pazera_Free_MOV_to_AVI_Converter.zip '.

After you download... Unzip and open the program...
    (no installation required)

Drag and drop one or several .mov files...

    Choose an output directory...

Select... WMV AVI - Video Codec - version 1 (WMP 7)...

Convert... (the button is on the top tool bar)

When the file is converted, you can change it in
Windows Movie Maker. Simply open Movie Maker
and go... File / import into Collections... and
    Access your converted file.

  • Tecra A9: IE7, it is freezing during the use of WLan

Well, the first problem of loss of connection has a problem of Netgear. Now I have another problem Wireless:

I start the computer, wait until everything starts and it is connected to my Netgear router.
I can start outlook and recover all my email, but when I run IE7 it freezes and I have to ctrl alt del out of the program.

If I try to use MSMessenger, it keeps trying to connect but never does.
I have to restart the computer that usually solves the problem, but sometimes it takes many re - start.
So, I am connected to the router, can retrieve email but unable to connect to the net.

I run a program of repairing the registry and when the computer is OK the program runs from beginning to the end, but if I try to run it when it is impossible to connect to the net it will freeze to check the .lnk shortcuts.

I have run chkdsk/r several times as well.

Any thoughts on why he does this?

    Hello

I recommend the entire Vista and also the IE7 update to the last State.
In addition, you should check if the same symptoms appear using another browser such as Firefox or Opera for example.

  • Computer freezes during the update of the BIOS

I have a hp pavilion dv5-1170ei and he had problems with the audio and the quick launch buttons after the upgrade to Windows 7. I decided to update the bios, because it was the only thing that I had not updated. Now, the computer is frozen with the update of the BIOS still running. I had the same problem with a dv5-1199ei and it worked fine after upgrading the BIOS. Either way, I upgraded from Vista Home premium to Win 7 Ultimate.

I don't know what to do.

    Help!

I had the same problem of problem freezing the computer during BIOS update. I have a HP Pavilion DV5 laptop 1126ee. When I update the bios, I don't notice her latest version of the bios installed on my system. I tried several ways of the various positions in the HP support forum. But I couldn't boot my system. Finally I could start my system. find the steps I did: -.

I first create a crisis recovery HP 2 GB USB key

downloaded Bios F.16A file on the HP (for HP DV5 1126ee) support site

Then copied 3602F16. FD AND 3603F16. FD TO USB

and renamed its copy to 3602.BIN, 3603.BIN, 3602.WPH, 3603.WPH, 3602F16. BIN, 3603F16. BIN. All files in the same USB BIOS.

Then I unplugged the power and removed the battery.

Insert USB drive into the system, Hold Windows + B button, plugged in the power and turned on the laptop. When the USB key is charge flashing I took out the key combination. Then I heard a unique single beep (before checking time is 2 + 1 beep and continuous beep). After the shutdown of the system 2-3 minutes automatically. Then I removed the USB and turn on the system. Now my system works perfectly.

    With our thanks,

  • Fort to freeze during the games with Windows 7 64 bit.

I got Windows 7 64 bit on my machine, with a nvidia gtx260 graphics card, with the most recent driver. (All other materials and drivers listed below in the dxdiag text). Since installing win7, virtually any game I play system will make hard-gel duration indeterminate (sometimes an hour or two, sometimes 2-3 seconds). Everything that is currently on the screen freezes in place, the speakers make a buzzing noise / growling midrange and the system becomes completely insensitive and requires a hard reboot (press the reset button on the case for the power of flash). The system power settings are set on "high performance". Nor my CPU or GPU run hot, both are well within their limits. The system does not generate error messages, it freezes just. Any help would be appreciated!

For some reason any after that they got the new trainer they reinstalled the drivers on each computer-drivers, he had on a USB stick for years. Just curious, if outside drivers date / corrupted drivers may cause this problem. Or if it would be more along the lines of the trainer. If anyone has experienced this or has any type of information they could give me to solve this problem, I would really appreciate it.

    Hi HPMN1127,

Here, you can reinstall the formatting/HDD module and reinstall well, you can then update the Firmware and replace the Ethernet cable.

    Upgrade firmware: http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/upgradeMigrateDisplay/?sp4ts.oid=4073004&spf_p.tpst=psiContentDisplay&spf_p.prp_psiContentDisplay=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c03847902-11%257CdocLocale%253Den_US&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken

Can you provide me with some more information:

What error codes do you find in the event log?

Can you test the impressions of statying PC/MAC or in USB mode and check the results/difference?

You can test the PDF printing with a PostScript (PS) driver instead of the PCL printer driver?

  • Satellite L450D PSLY5E freeze during the BIOS update - now does not turn on

    Hi guys,.

I have a Satellite L450D. I recently tried (unfortunately) update the BIOS after a clean installation, because the FN key no longer working to bring up the toolbar.

Winphlash program froze near the end and the system remained frozen for a good half-hour. The only way out was to remove the battery (as I know in any case).

Now, the system will light with battery in or out and plugged in. I guess I've damaged the hard drive or the card mother or something.

Is it possible to fix? Or is it?

Thank you very much for your help.

BTW - I know now not to update the BIOS unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary and well advised.

    Joey

    > I guess I've damaged the hard drive or the card mother or something.

The disk HARD isn t damage but the Rom module where the BIOS is stored was not flashed properly.
I guess that this happened because the flash procedure was interrupted.

I'm not sure if this can be fixed perhaps the service guy could flash the ROM module with special disc of crisis of the BIOS.

    I keep fingers crossed

  • iPhone 6 s more the screen freezes during the alarm

It is a really annoying issue I've had. Here are the steps to reproduce

    1. set an alarm no matter when (say 07:00)

    2 turn off the display

    3. wait are beginning to sound the alarm

    4. wait until the display turns off. Let the alarm sounds

After step 4, the display remains stuck in the off State and the alarm continues to sound. He is unresponsive to the touch. It is a VERY annoying bug. The only way to regain normal operation is to do a hard reset

I meant by reset pressing the home button and the sleep for 10 seconds button.
