    Hello

I discovered that every presentation that I export in format PDF of Keynote has problems when played on Adobe Acrobat Reader. There are a few fine black borders around objects.

Here is an example of a blade with a text and png images two. You can see that there is no problem in Keynote or preview, but the problems are in Adobe Acrobat Reader on Windows and Mac (less visible).

    You have an idea?

    Thank you

  • Software Adobe acrobat reader always displays the necessary update, but there is none

When I run a check of my modules, I always get a message of update of the Adobe acrobat reader software, but there is no update available

For some reason Adobe any does always have the latest version of Adobe Reader on its download page. I suggest to use the internal update within Adobe Reader DC Auditor:

    Help > check for updates

Or you can use this reference page:

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Acrobat/release-note/release-notes-Acrobat-Reader.html

  • Adobe Acrobat plug of keeps showing that is out of date, even after the update or reinstall.

Other users have reported similar problems. My particular case: Running Firefox - date (42.0) - Windows 7 (as so far). Firefox has constantly watch the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in is not up-to-date. I tried to update and reinstalled Acrobat. I just had request Acrobat update which has been a success and also updated to Firefox. Firefox still has reports that Acrobat is obsolete. Firefox reports that the current add-on is 15.9.20069.28170, but clicking on update now button on the Add you check page contains links to a page of Adobe update with the version number 2015.009.20069. When I search (Google) for the latest version, I've reached a page that lists all versions, updates, etc.. The latest version is 2015.009.20069. According to the Panel, the version of Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed on the computer is 15.009.20077!

As far as I can tell it's working properly, updated regularly. I don't know where the 28170 number comes from or why page Add on reports that Acrobat is out of date, unless the version update of the Acrobat Reader software is not actually update the Add On from Firefox portion.

    Any suggestion or comment?

My suggestion is to ignore the information from the website of checker plugin and use the built-in functionality of Adobe to check updates. In your DC of Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat DC:

Help menu > check for updates

While the site checker plugin uses data provided by Adobe, there seems to be some discrepancies between the program and the version number of plugin that have not yet been resolved.

  • I don't have the option "use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox) for the Application PDF

My accounting software runs on a Mozilla browser. When I saw the reports, it downloads it instead of preview of the report in a new window. My instructions are to go to the Options/Applications Mozilla browser and replace Portable Document Format "use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox) - but this option does not exist.

In addition, how to add Applications?

The plugin can be disabled, which means, set to 'never activate', on the plugins page. I think that the forum does not detect it when you posted (see Question details > System Details more).

To verify that you can open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click on Plugins. On the right side, look for Adobe Acrobat. If it is disabled, it will be down on a gray box.

If your plugin is very outdated, it can be disabled for security reasons. In this case, I suggest entering your product Adobe (Reader or Acrobat) and using the Help menu > check for updates.

Update the main program should also update the plugin. If all goes well then you will be able to use again.

  • When I updated my Adobe Acrobat plug-ins it uninstalled Adobe Reader and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Can I use Adobe Reader instead?

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Firefox said that my plugin Adobe Acrobat was outdated, so I've updated. It uninstalled my Adobe Reader Version 11.0.12.18 and replaced it with Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 2015.008.20082 DC. I did not like this program, and more I read there are still bugs in there. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled Adobe Reader Version 11.0.12.18. I went into the menu of options of Firefox under applications and changed the options Adobe to use Adobe Reader as the default application for PDF files. It is a safe choice, or should I leave Firefox dictate what PDF program I use? I am concerned about safety issues. Any opinions?

I think that your question has been answered mainly in this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1079182

In my opinion, you can trust Adobe to keep the series XI Reader updated for awhile. It is completely safe is impossible to know, given that vulnerabilities are often discovered and kept secret.

  • Firefox said that my Adobe Acrobat was out of date, so I have updated to the latest version of the Adobe Web site. Firefox has always said it is obsolete.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I've updated to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, but Firefox has always said that it is obsolete. I had the Version of Adobe Reader installed 11.0.12.18. The Adobe Acrobat Reader DC uninstalled Adobe Reader software. I read that the DC version is still buggy. I think I'll uninstall Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and reinstall Adobe Reader. Furthermore, I haven't opened the DC application and updates, but there is not. When I had Adobe Reader installed I noticed in the Firefox options under applications menu there is an option to use Adobe Reader (by default). I think I'll try this option. Any advice would be appreciated.

Obsolete false warning for Adobe Acrobat Reader is a known problem, but unfortunately there is no way to repair at the moment (we are not the developers on this forum, just guys who want to help users).

Take a look at this previous thread for more information.

  • Create a PDF of Adobe Acrobat could not be verified

After FF updated to 40.0.2 my Adobe Acrobat 10.1.15 create PDF does not work. Create a PDF of Adobe Acrobat could not be verified for use in Firefox

I followed your instructions above and managed to activate the three Add ons mentioned (Adobe Acrobat - create PDF 2.0 MultiRow Bookmarks Toolbar most 1.6 and LogiTech SetPoint 6.5). Thank you.

  • Plug in check watch v.40.0.2 Acrobat Reader DC is outdated, however, I have the latest version 2015.008.20082 installed.

Points from Jack to check on the Acrobat site which should be if it were not the current version. Install Acrobat DC the product until it detects that the current version is installed for Windows 10.

I think that it is a "bug" in the data used by the auditor of the plugin.

I recommend that you check the updates to Adobe Reader from within the product, help > Search updates and confident Adobe update plugins and main product together.

  • Acrobat works on IE but not Firefox

Click document on the web and it does not appera - nothing happens. In Internet Explorer, no problem.

Tried to "" subject: plugins "and found Adobe PDF Plugin for Firefox" 15.8.20082
I think it's VERY RECENT PROBLEM

You might already have checked this, but just in case...

When you install Firefox, it is by default to display PDF files in an internal viewer. If you haven't already done so, you need to change only on the Options on the page by following the steps in this article: How to disable the built-in PDF Viewer and use another Viewer. (Note: it is important to filter using using the PDF and do not looking for Adobe.)

If you have made this change before, try to choose a different option like opening in Adobe Reader (outside Firefox) and test this. If it works, then try to change it again using the Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox) plugin.

    Any improvement?

  • Cannot open PDF attachments since the upgrade to Acrobat Reader DC

I was recently invited to upgrade my Adobe Reader software to the latest version: Adobe Reader DC. Since that I can more open parts attached PDF received emails. I wish I had not updated Adobe Reader - last time I did, I also had problems and had to uninstall the update and reinstall an earlier version.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have attached a screenshot to illustrate what is happening when I either double-click the piece attached or right-click and select 'open '.

    Thank you, James.

Check that Thunderbird knows the correct program to use.
Tools > Options > Annexes > Incoming tab

    Content type: Adobe Acrobat Document
To the right is going to be action - click action see a drop down.
See if there is a specific mention of using "Adobe Reader DC".
I know that 'use Adobe Reader' is used for older versions of Adobe Reader DC.

Click on 'Other use' to see a more extensive list of options.
If you still can't find, click 'Browse '.
Then you can locate the *.exe to adobe specific dc and click Open
    Click on 'OK's.

Test again open a pdf document.

  • I want to remove several downloads Adobe Acrobat.

I have several PDF in duplicate. Adobe Acrobat files, as well as some that I have no other use. How do I permanently remove them from my computer? They take up far too much space on my PC, and they are no longer the documents that I WANT OR that you USE.

    Thank you.

These files are always registered in the list of downloads of Firefox? You can see that use "show all downloads" of the arrow icon on the toolbar, or Ctrl - j.

Each successful download must have a small folder icon on the right side, and when you click on that, Firefox should launch a window of Windows Explorer with the selected download. You can press the DELETE key (or right-click > delete) the file here.

If the files are listed is no longer in Firefox, but you know where they are on the disc - for example, the downloads folder or TEMP folder - then you should be able to remove here using the DELETE key (or right-click > delete).

    It work?

  • Acrobat does not not in the browser

PDFs in my browser for years, but I had to reinstall Adobe Acrobat Pro and now it will not, when I click on a PDF link, it takes me to the window "enter the name of the file to be saved in.

I have everything set up correctly. Attached is the subject: plugins and Options: windows Applications.

I tried all the suggestions on the

    page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-issues-with-plugins-fix-problems#w_re-initializing-the-plugins-database
    and none of them work.

    Any useful suggestions? Thank you.

I posted a screenshot of my Application settings and they all ask FIrefox to open a PDF file in Firefox, but it does not work. I have everything set correctly, but it still does not work.

    Hello
Yes, you posted a screenshot, but it does not show what are your settings for PDF files (Adobe Acrobat Forms Document is another type of file, with a different extension).
The Applications dialog box has a top search bar, try entering 'pdf' it and see if a line is in place, that contains the setting for PDF files. If so, set this parameter to "Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox)" and see if that helps.

  • Acrobat DC crashes at the launch of the Tracker

I'm under DC Acrobat (version creative cloud) on my MacBook Pro (OS 10.11.5) - suddenly, whenever I try to launch the "tracker" track review status on e-mail based reviews - the program crashes.

No matter if I have open files, or if Acrobat is the only program, and no file is open.

This issue just started. There is no new update that had nothing to do with Acrobat or my OS. There are updates of Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign - but not the Acrobat.
