ACS 3.3.3 to 4.1 upgrade questions

We are running Cisco ACS for Windows version 3.3.3. We have recently been acquired by another company that has placed us on their Cisco service contract but the FAC was not placed on the new service contract because the support that it had expired. I said that if we have the serial number or license of our ACS version 3.3 key that we could add to the new service, contract number and able to perform the upgrade to 4.1. I'm not aware of any place that the serial number or license information are saved. IT seems to me that the information is stored somewhere so that Cisco could validate that the installation is valid for any medium that can happen. As I talked to people, it's a download rather than a CD while it was installed the first time, but no one recalls the name of the Cisco Reseller we used at that time. I just need to know if there is a way to find the old series/license key number, then I can predict that, to the new representative of Cisco. What I've read, it seems that we would need to buy the 4.1 update, but I am not certain about it. If anyone knows where we can get a license or serial number for Cisco ACS for Windows (not the device) or could relay that a purchase is necessary for the upgrade, I'd appreciate it.

There is no license or serial number for ACS for windows. In order to upgrade to 4.1 you must purchase a software upgrade contract.

Without contract to upgrade you can not switch to 4.x.

Kind regards

It is unfortunate that Adobe has chosen to use the "update" in the notice inside LR 5. It is not an "update". It is an 'upgrade '. Thus, you pay if you want. Also as usual, Adobe directs clients to the CC solution and makes it hard to find perpetual license option.

  • ACS 4.2 to 5.3/4 upgrade

    All,

We will be upgrading our device ACS of a GBA running 1113 4.2 for a 3415 running ACS 5.3/4. From what I read, I will need to build a machine from migration. How this migration machine is set up?

    Dave Draper

Migration from ACS 4.x to 5.4

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_secure_access_control_system/5.4/migration/guide/Migration_overview_oper.html#wp1017943

Machine migration for the ACS 4.x will be a windows server, when you run the Migration utility.

NOTE: The Migrator does not support remote desktop connection. You must run the Migration utility on the migration machine or use VNC to connect the machine to the migration.

  • ACS-GANYMEDE 4.2 to 5.2 upgrade

Hello everyone, see us run the Services ACS on a stand-alone server from IBM 346 runnig Windows 2008 32-bit server and I would like to 5.2 we have another box of IBM identical spare and would like to if it can be used. Anyone had problems ranging from 4.2 to 5.2 with an intermediate upgrade?

    5.2 is my best bet?

    Thank you!

5.4 ACS does not support automatic installation of the evaluation license.  Therefore, if you need an evaluation of GBA 5.4 version, then you must get the Cisco.com evaluation license and manually install the ACS 5.4.

If you don't have a valid contract of SAS with all products of the ACS, you will not be able to download the image ISO of Cisco.com. In this case, you must contact your local partner or cisco representative for the ISO image.

  • El Capitan 10.11.4(5 & 6) upgrade question

I have an iMac 2010 (3.2 Ghz Intel Core i3, 4 GB 1333 Mhz DDR3, 1 TB HDD - 485 GB free) that runs quite happily El Capitan 10.11.3

Unfortunately, trying to upgrade to 10.11.4 gave me the white screen of death white.  No hassle, time machine backup, don't try again, no question of devices attached, even.

Waited for the release of 10.11.5 and 10.11.6 and have the same problem again.  Equipment of diagnosis showed no problems and has even downgrading to 10.11.3 and 10.11.2 and update go here has not solved the problem.

Has anyone struck this problem and solved?

    Thank you very much!

I suggest to download the Combo update and try it.

  • upgrade question

I'm still running 10.7.5.  Is this OK to upgrade to the latest version, or should I go each on the order of victory until I'm there?

Depends, what year and model Mac do you have?

To find out the info on your system,
Click on the Apple symbol in the upper left of the menu bar main of OS X. A drop down menu appears.
Click on about this Mac. A small popup window will appear. This gives you basic information as what version of Mac OS X to your iMac is running, the speed of the processor of your iMac, and the amount of RAM is installed.
Click on the button that says more information.
One more great window pops up that gives you a complete overview of the hardware specifications of your iMac.
Select all the info and copy / paste this into another answer to this post, edition serial number of your iMac before actually posting the answer.
This will tell us all about your iMac so that we can begin to help with your problems of iMac.

  • iMac 2009 upgrade Question

I have an iMac 2009 (20 ") with a 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4 GB RAM, 640 GB SATA HDD and running OS X 10.9.5. I know this machine is 'old', but I want to upgrade a new OS and get some speed back (lots of ball rotation range, especially using Safari). I get the runaround from people at the local store simply Mac, that push to get me to buy a new system. I think with most recent - especially the SSD - HDD I can upgrade to El Capitan and extend the life of this wonderful machine... especially since I can't afford or justify the purchase of new at the moment. Your thoughts?

IF you upgrade your ram to 8 GB and the switch on the rotation for one SSD HARD drive you will swear that you have a new machine. My late 2009 with 16 GB of ram and SSD never sees a spinning beachball. Mine is a quad core i5 processor, but I bet you'd be happy.

  • Portege M780-10V upgrade questions

I'm glad my M780-10V and don't plan to change it too early, but I'd like to improve it.

I upgraded RAM 8 GB, although windows 7 32-bit recognizes only 2,9 GB - ideas?

Someone tried to move to Windows 7 64 bit, which should make more RAM available.

Has anyone swapped the drive and installed an SSD, I think also 250GB, I guess that it should be a real boost.

As for exchanging the i5 to an i7, I don't know who would be worthwhile - seems a costly change - as the i7 does not seem to add a lot by looking at different comparison sites.

    Thanks in advance.

Win 7 32-bit as well as 32-bit systems recognize only 3.2 GB of RAM. This is the limit of 32-bit
Recommended to use the 64-bit system in case you have more than 3 GB of RAM
Portege M780-10V supports up to 8 GB of RAM so memory upgrade is possible.

The upgrade of the SSD HARD drive is the best move you could make... the performance gain will be noticeable. I made these updates on my Tecra laptop and am very happy with this...

In my opinion, this is not necessary and I wouldn't recommend upgrade you the processor. First of all Toshiba and other laptop manufacturers do not support these updates. No one knows if these updates would not affect the functionality of the laptop, and in the worst cases, the BIOS would not support a new processor.
At the other hand, you won't see the performance boost using new CPU... in my eyes these updates would be very useful.

  • Re: Tecra M5 PTM51E - CPU upgrade question

Hi, I have Tecra M5 PTM51E model with processor Yonah T2600 (2.16 ghz, 667fsb) core duo, a few days ago that I just replaced the processor with core 2 duo - Merom T7400 (2.16 ghz, fsb667) and everything works almost well... the processor is correctly recognized, I was able to install win7 64 bit.

The only problem I have is the fan speed, it goes full speed laptop to stop, I have the latest BIOS 3.70, Toshiba Power Saver - no matter what I put the fan goes 100% speed, temperatures are ok, HWmonitor presents the 28-30 C idle and 60 in stress and fan was cleaned up during the replacement of the central processing unit.

I guess I need media diagnosis/service of toshiba to set correct values for the speed of the fan on the processor?

    I appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

    > I upgraded the CPU. It works very well outside the CPU fan runs constantly at 100%

You have installed a stronger CPU that is faster and produces more heat dissipation.
It s nothing unusual that your fan runs faster.
The cooling module must run more quickly to make sure that the CPU would be cooled properly.

  • Tecra 720cdt: memory upgrade question

I'm looking for 1 oiece 128 MB of memory (MAX)? for my 720cdt. Can someone help me as to a place that I can get this or does anyone have good used sweater, that they no longer need.
Just tell me what you need.

    Thank you

    Garth

Wow, that's a really an oldie.
To my knowledge it s about 10 years.
What do you what to do on this old notebook?

In any case, I remember that the slot of memory could be at the bottom of the unit.
Am I wrong? In addition, you can use module max memory 128 MB and the memory can be upgraded to 144 MB. Why? Because as far as I know that this unit should have internal 16 MB memory and it cannot be removed.

I searched a bit on the net and found information that this module memory must be compatible:
    PA2046U 128 MB

These modules you should be able to order the Toshiba service partner in your country.

  • ZBook 15: ZBook HP 15 upgrade question

    Hello

I have a HP Zbook 15 G2 and I want to upgrade my laptop. The vehicle currently has a 256 GB SSD and 8 GB of RAM DDR3L. I would like to insert an additional SSD and possibly another 8 GB of RAM if it is possible. I have no idea how to do that well or if this is possible at all, is there any guide autour on how to do that for my model? Are there enough hours/room for that niche?

    Thanks in advance.

You have a SATA 2.5 inch hard drive installed. See the '1' which is an open RAM slot and '2' is a slot of free RAM and the thing across left to right the image just above the '1' is a connector m2 on the left with the operation of the screw holes on the right. You can put one of them in this niche, and it will be a hard drive.

If you need assistance. I just put one of these in my Zbook 15 G3 MWS and it's silly fast. I use it as the startup disk and then have a SATA drive like yours for storage.

  • NB250 - 10G of memory upgrade question

We recently bought a number of Netbooks NB250 - 10G, some have been ordered with 2 GB of memory and others with 1 GB. For a few machines of 1 GB, 2 GB expansion modules were purchased to subsequent to 2 GB (Correct Toshiba KTT1066D3 Kingston DDR3 / 2G).

When upgrading memory is installed, when the netbook is started it turns on, then turns off, then lights up - this cycle continues. I tried a lot of modules KTT1066D3 / 2G and all do the same thing in any netbooks NB250 - 10G that were shipped with 1 GB.

Subject 2 GB modules work in subject NB250 - 10G bought with 2 GB. _No_ 2 GB modules work in _any_ NB250 - 10G bought with 1 GB.

Both the NB250-10Gs comes with 1 GB and 2 GB have same bios version (1.3) and the bios settings.

After a quick web search, this is a known issue.

    Help, please?

    Thank you very much

In my view, Akuma is good and there is a compatibility problem between NB250 and what type of memory Kingston.

Have you tested original, pre-tested Toshiba modules authorized service?

  • Pavilion 15-ab150sa: HP - Pavilion 15-ab150sa 15.6 "laptop RAM UPGRADE QUESTION

It is said in the task manager that one slot free, I was just wondering if I could upgrade the laptop to 16 GB. Laptops have already been 1x8gb.

Can my all new laptop handle it?

Thank you very much, and best wishes,

    Mr. Hayle.

Unfortunately, HP has not posted a manual for your specific model. The Star Wars thing is the series of 15 t-ab100 and the same physical case and the layout, just Intel AMD not. There is a forum for active discussion on the model of Star Wars and we know by experience of the user, it can be upgraded to 16 gigs and it also comes with a single module of 8 GB and an open slot.

I think this might be your manual, even if it is found under the designation 15z-ab000, A8-7410 processor and the plug and the configuration described in the manual seem to be the same as yours:

    Manual

    It is said expressly:

Supports up to 16 GB of RAM in the following configurations.

I do not work for HP. I am a user final colleague who has some knowledge based on fact that for a few years. I never came across a computer that will a 8 GB module and has a slot for memory that will not accept a second module of 8 GB for a total of 16 concerts. If you buy the 8 GB module and it doesn't work I'll buy it from you for a reasonable current retail value. Just PM me.

Note that this upgrade memory isn't a thing authorized for mutual assistance. The warranty may or may not remain intact.

Also be aware that the upgrade from 8 GB to 16 GB does not alter the performance of the machine much, if at all for the majority of computer users and could well be a waste of money. But if you do heavy photo or video production work, drop the pieces of music or compile large batches of the Code you can use 16 gigs successfully. Same game didn't really need more than 8 GB, however.

  • NB305-10f memory upgrade question

I want to upgrade the memory of my NB305-10f of 1 GB to 2 GB, but I can't get a definitive answer on the type of memory stick that will work. For starters, the Toshiba site said that this laptop uses DDR3, but the manual says DDR2 and think "Topaz" (a retailer party Toshiba helpdesk told me) that he uses too.

I found a discussion on laptopforums.toshiba.com indicating that the Kingston KTT1066D3S / 2G works for NB305-N440, but I don't know how to close this laptop is for the NB305-10f. One point that out of the discussion is that computers cell phones can be very skittish on the memory sticks that they will work with, so I need to be sure that the part I liquidate command will work.

    Can anyone help please?

    Hello

The memory depends on the chipset and CPU which is taken in charge by the laptop.
As far as I know the laptop supports the Chipset Intel GMA 3150 Express. Check the Intel page what modules are supported by the chipset.

But when Host Interface clock speed (FSB / HT) CPU is so DDR3 at 1066 MHz (PC3-8500) bars would go with 1066 MHz.
If the CPU FSB is lower (IE 800 Mhz) DDR3 memory would go to 800 Mhz.

So yes, it seems that the NB300 can handle DDR3 memory modules.
