Actions - curve adjustment layer applied without correction

Photoshop CC 2015

MAC OSX Mavericks 10.10.3

Save the action using the adjustment layer curves (reduce red), when I play back the action adjustment layer curves appears without the Red correction.

Never seen this behaviour before. Research conducted on the internet users have reported similar problems over the years - I can't find a solution, unless it's emptying cache or Pref?

In photoshop cc 2014, close libraries and then see if your actions record settings.

  • Change of the pipette in the curves adjustment layer

In versions previous of the PS when you opened a curves adjustment layer, hovered over the image, the cursor was a dropper, and when you pressed the mouse button a point appears on the curve showing the wherever the task on the image fell on the curve.  I used a lot.

In CS4 that the pipette has been replaced by the line of sight (plus sign?), and when you click on a location in the image, nothing happens.   How to bring back the former function?

Always available, but with different commands.  Here is a link that describes in detail.

  • No dialog on the curves adjustment layer?

Just started using CS4 and when I create a curves adjustment layer, no dialog box appears before the creation of the layer. What is going on?

You click on it. Then, choose something like curves. In the settings of the curves Panel will show. Make the settings there. There is also a small arrow upwards downwards to the right of the Panel. Click on that for many more options

  • Adjustment layer changes do not appear in the Actions

Problem with action in Photoshop CC
This problem occurs only on my own computer, on another computer, no problem.

If I do a deed containing an adjustment layer, for example a curves adjustment layer, it is designed to neatly. I then make a change to the curve, it does not appear in the image and history, but not in action. What's not?

    Hello

See if unchecking generator plugins in the photoshop (edit) > preferences > plug-ins makes a difference.

Additionally, make sure that you have the last cc updated photoshop by going to help > updates of in photoshop cc or by using the creative application of cloud.

  • Why the curves adjustment, often in front of which layer is the standard?

When I do a PS CC2015 curves adjustment layer often the graph is opposite, so to make an image, I have to make the curve rises and light, have to go down.  Why it does this?

It's driving me crazy and looks odd and makes me think that I work badly.

In the curves adjustment layer properties click on the upper right. In the drop-down menu, choose Display Options of the curves where light vs Pigmentf/ink radio buttons control the meaning of the scales of the layer of setting the tone.

  • How do Control M to create an adjustment layer curves?

M control creates a default curves adjustment.  However, there is a way to get control M to create a curves adjustment layer.  I forgot how to do this!

Go to Edition > shortcuts keyboard and change the Ctrl + M to layer > new adjustment layer > curves.

  • Pipette in the curve adjustment dialog box average pixels, so the color balance is watered.

    Hi all.

When you use the pipette to set the points black and white pixels of an image in the dialog box curve setting, I found that it seems not middle of the neighbouring pixels or provide a way to select a value "monochrome".  Thus, the color balance is still impaired and is thrown way if you happen to choose a noisy pixel (for example).

I expect that there is an option to set the size of the sampling for the pipette area, but I don't see one.  I have considered making the monochrome image, defining curves, save them as a preset, and then reload the image color and apply the preset (if she does not leave me); but this seems heavy and hokey.  What is the usual procedure to adjust the tone curve of the image without changing its color balance?

    Thanks for any idea.

When you select an eyedropper in the curves adjustment dialog box, you went to the eyedropper tool.

You then set the sample in the Options bar.

In the curves adjustment layer, any pipette also has sample settings in the Options bar.

  • Adjustment layer using only colors?

I encountered a problem with the help of an adjustment layer. I created a curves adjustment layer and set it so that I can get a job shadow in however once I started drawing it only carried out certain colors (even if they are in the same layer) I tried everything I can think and can't get anything to change my top layer. Does anyone know why it would be as selective on what colors it is perform?

For reference, I use PS CS6 running windows 7

Highlight the layer of body and then apply adjustments, repeat the same procedure on the layer that was used to make the helmet.

  • Small white dots on the adjustment layer.

Starting from 23/11/2015, I had a problem using the curves adjustment layer.  When I invert the layer and then use a brush to paint where I want the layer to show, it gives me little white dots everywhere.  Does anyone else have this problem.

I had a problem like this in the past, but it was encircling as a selection.  Now these are the points.

Sorry, I forgot the screenshot indicates that you are working in 16-bit.

In any case, the Brush tool is on the blending Mode "dissolve".

  • Adjustment layer is a white solid

I have a very strange problem by adding an adjustment layer, that I can't solve. I have added layers of control thousands of times, but have never had this happen. I'm using CS5 and in one of my compositions when I add an adjustment layer it appears as a solid instead of the usual white completely transparent adjustment layer. Even when I copy and paste an adjustment layer that appears correctly another layer, glued one includes in the same way and becomes simply a solid white. I left AE just to see if it was weird hiccups, but this comp them has similarly.

Everyone knows this? Anyone know what is happening?

Make sure that adjustment layer icon is enabled. Adjustment layers are solid white until the switch is thrown.

If you get a solid white when you add a new adjustment layer and then I would leave, trash your preferences and restart.

  • How to apply an adjustment layer for videos without first CC photos

    Hello world.

I do the vids for my family and it's a combination of videos and photos. I want to easily apply the same effect to videos which is the color corrector 3 ways. I do not want to apply this effect to photos.

I have currently to apply the effect to a layer and then carefully cut adjustment the adjustment on the photos layer. Does anyone know a better way to do this?

Put videos on the photos on V3, V2 and V1 adjustment layer.

  • Stay in white adjustment layer and does not apply its effects to the video overlay?

Stay in white adjustment layer and does not apply its effects to the video overlay?

I used color correction adjustment layers and now my adjustment layer is just stay white and I watched so many forums and I can't find what I'm doing wrong...

  • Apply the adjustment layer to a layer group

Is there a method to apply an adjustment layer to a layer group?

    I have a curtain on a layer of a Photoshop CS4 document.

I have reproduced the curtain twice and repositioned the copies.

Now, I would like to use an adjustment layer to change the color of my curtains without affecting the rest of the composition (and I can't move the curtains down because they need to sit above other elements).

I tried to bring my 3 layers of curtain set, then applygin an adjustment layer > hue > colorize - but that affects the entire composition.

When the layers are grouped, holding ALT while hovering between the adjustment layer and the group does not have the special icon that allows you to apply the adjustment to the layer below.

Would be apprecaiate andive on how to apply an adjustment layer to a layer group.

(I can go back and apply my adaptation to the original curtain can reduplicate and reposition, but would have to repeat this procedure every preference change color).

    Thank you?

Put your layers into a folder and change the mode to normal fusion of records through. You can then put an on the top layers adjustment layer in the file, and this will not affect what is located in the folder.

  • Apply an adjustment layer to only certain images in a video?

I have an imported video, make a selection and applied a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer on the selection and it has been applied to the entire clip. How could I do the same thing, although that doesn't apply to the adjustment layer to a specified segment of the clip?

    Thank you.

Looks like you have to duplicate the video layer and the layer of setting her clip, and then reduce the opacity of the adjustment layer. Can't seem to adjust the opacity on just the layer of setting with keyframes.
