  I am using a first generation Magic Trackpad on a rMBP without any problem. One of the things I liked most was the possibility to use three fingers to drag the files or folders, etc.

  I just changed a new iMac with the Magic Trackpad 2, and I wonder how to recover the function of slide three fingers again. I can't find this option anywhere, in system preferences, and really miss me. I often have to drag things a relatively far distance (particularly on this larger screen) and keep my thumb pressed and dragging my finger at the same time is not nearly as convenient or easy.

  It is not in the Trackpad preferences at all; This is part of the accessibility! I make a note of it for use later, just in case!

  I have two lines in excel as shown:
  After I lock and send, both lines have 177.00. This occurs even if the two lines were separated by other lines of data.
  Thorough review of each Excel cell, I see two single quotes before 360 and 6020 2nd line. the first line 360 has single quote, but there are spaces between the single quote and 360. Here is roughly what I see (this site deleted my spaces, so you won't see space in 360 of the first line and its apostrophe):

  On further testing, I discovered that it was the LACK of apostrophe in CC "19" that caused the problem. It's weird that Essbase does not give an error message complaining that 'not all dimensions' as currently.

  If Essbase is a line in a lock and send that contains invalid members, it will load the last combination of valid membership (with no error, as you have noticed). For this reason, I always do a recovery on the dimension members that I want to load first, because she's going to tell me that the members are not valid. On a copy of the sheet of recovery (set to incorrect member), I'll type then the values I want and then lock and send. In this way, I'm guaranteed to send exactly what I want to send where I want to send it.

• Why windows 7 adds the locks and new folders I create?

  Hi all,

  This is the situation that I am and I'm all out of ideas.  Whenever I create a new folder on my desktop a lock icon with the folder icon.  Then I go to the Security tab and under the entry for group names or the user domain is listed. SYSTEM, my own profile name and finally to account Unknown(S-1-5-5-0-xxxxx) with a red question mark icon.  I am able to delete the account unknown entry, but then when I create a new folder lock still appears along the unknown account entry in the Security tab.  Why we do this? And how could solve this problem?

  For the person who has this problem, I thought of her.  This has to do with the permissions that are allowed for your parent folder that the new folders are created in.  For example, if you experience this issue when you create new folders on your desktop, then you check the permissions in the desktop folder.

  In my case it was the desktop folder, so that I did this, I opened windows Explorer, went to the Security tab of the desktop folder and saw that none of my users or groups had no authorization for the office.  That's why when I created a new folder of the user account unknown would be in the region of groups or users from the Security tab.

  To remedy this, I did the following:

  • Go to the Security tab of the offices.
  • Clicked on edit and gave full control to SYSTEM, administrators, and my two users that I created.
  • Click apply then OK to close.

  The lock on the new folder I created earlier was gone.

  I'm not sure how my permission I messed up, but I think it had something to do with me after trying to move the desktop folder of the standard on the Office of the administrator user, and I was logged into the Admin account.  I tried to recreate it, but I was unable to.  Anyway now fixed it.

  its taking too long to complete. How to find that there is a lock to produce in the table while that simultaneous execution of the program, another way to find why the simultaneous program takes too long to run and how can you speed up the process.
  
  Yesterday we made a few changes to speed up the process with our DBA to accelerate the simultaneous program
  
  The first simultaneous program takes 2 h 30 and after these changes taking 1 h 45. Please suggest it's okay

  I suggest you draw the simultaneous program and analyze the trace file. To do this, mark the simultaneous program as Trace enable (RESP system administrator, Menu simultaneous > program > define) and then run the program and download the trace file after dealing with tkprof.   Sorry to ask such a silly question, but I have searched on the web for hours without finding the answer. So, I come to you guys, hoping you have the magic answer.

  My problem is that I have recently moved to Illustrator CS5 after using Illustrator 10 for a very long time. I use a lot the keyboard and the mouse to draw in Illustrator and a shortcut has been replaced and I can't find a new job.

  In the pen (or any other tool), mode I press Ctrl for quick selection tool, very handy. But I used to press Ctrl + Tab to switch between the direct selection tool selection tool and vice versa. In CS5, this shortcut has been replaced by switching between the various documents (which makes more sense) and the new command according to the help (ctrl + alt + tab) file does not work on Windows (Vista) as it switches between programs rather than selection tools. the only solution I have is manually selecting the desired tool, which interrupt the flow somehow...

  Can someone help me? Thank you very much

  It's a solution, even if I don't know how to re - allocate such command (toggle selection). (Edit: actually, I found where it was possible: Edit-> keyboard shortcuts-> Menu commands-> other Select-> switch selection tools)

  I always have the feeling that there is a shortcut to this command. Even the help file adobe Web site and specify the command ctrl + alt + tab for windows, which is stupid because it is clearly in conflict with windows shortcuts.

  Any other idea?

• Impossible to activate by phone/key locked and OEM is no longer in business

  Installed 10 Windows to look and see if I had to upgrade, and now I have a problem with the activation of Windows 7 Pro 64.  I installed 10 Windows on a separate disk and has not attempted activation, but somehow this caused my copy of Windows 7 to be considered not authentic.  I just wanted to throw an eye to decide whether to update or not.  I contacted support at Ms telephone activation to see what I would do to this topic, and they said that I should call the OEM for the unlocked key.  However, the PC is a Nanosystems and NS is no longer active.  It seems that I have no option, even though the key was authentic and in use by me personally for more than two years, the period of time that I owned the PC.

  Is there a place where I can find help in this situation?  I just want back my working copy of Windows 7 before expiry of 30 days.  I completely deleted the installation of Windows 10 and I can come back later, but for now all my programs and files on the Windows 7 disc.

  BTW, MS wrote the key is authentic and he passed every test validation for two years, but there is noone that I can contact to have the unlocked key.  Please, I need this PC to be functional.  Thanks for any help.

  Legally an OEM pre-install and resell Windows, MS requires that they affix a COA sticker to prove the BONES into real and provide a product key, so you can at any time request activation of factory-mass SLP activation in the activation of Safe Harbor of Ms.  No OEM sells legit Windows 7 without this sticker.  It is a classic case where the sticker protects MS Customers, because the OEM bankrupt.  Other cases are the awful bloatware on factory installed which paralyse the operating system.

  If the key is still legible you can insert it in the link of Activation of system properties page.  As it is already validated it should activate.

  If this is not the case, there could be interference with the SLP factory activation file still on board, so I'd do the vastly superior own reinstall Windows 7 if you do not already have one.  Make sure you disconnect all other drives.

  Never buy a product key less than a major retailer and then not Amazon third and never eBay.  You will lose your money.

  Ideally, you should check for locks on the table in question where records are trying to access.

  AFAIK, you must check the v$ locked_object and find sessions.

• loop through the layers defining the lock and visibility

  I need to loop through the layers in the active document and the value of the properties of the layer is false or true.  I tried to create a loop using a method 'for', but it doesn't seem to work. I have renounced the method 'for' because I kept running into a problem.  I have set all layers with these settings just the odd ones (2,4,6, etc.). Here is sample if it was written.

  myLayer.visible = false;

  myLayer.locked = true;

  myLayer = myDoc.layers var [4];

  myLayer.visible = false;

  One difference is that, since it was not clear to me which layer you talk like layer #1, I started at the bottom of the scale.  I hope this helps.  -TT

  What do you mean pass settings mute and lock? Are you referring to the similar setting on the iPad? If so, which is not available on the iPhone. The "secret" key is on the side of the phone. To set the Orientation lock, you swipe up on the control center and the icon is the last one on the top row, with the lock in the Center. White is turned on, black is off. Here is the "secret" key.

  I have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid-2014 retina). After upgrade to sierra trackpad gesture to select text using three fingers does not work. Instead, I saw that now a press and hold your finger and drag to select the text, it's very painful and does not work perfectly as three fingers gesture.

  If by mistake the press with a single finger is lost text selection stop there and have to start over and it also causes mild pain if the selection is long.

  Hope someone can help me here. Here is the story:

  My Macbook Pro was stolen recently / 2009. I replaced it with a Macbook Pro Retina early 2015 model bought on Ebay UK.

  When he arrived, I discovered that he has a U.S. keyboard, rather than a UK keyboard. In fact, I use a French AZERTY keyboard, so it makes no difference to me, I thought it would be simple just to set it on a French keyboard in system preferences, like I did with my old UK Macbook Pro model. It is indeed easy, so I bought a silicone keyboard cover so that it now looks like a QWERTY keyboard - well.

  However, I can not type the symbol or the symbol of the hashtag.

  I have two Apple keyboards with my iMac, a USB keypad with digital, wireless one. Both are original Apple keyboards purchased in France. Both have the to and hashtag at the top left just below the ESC key.

  However, if I hit this key on the Macbook Pro I get < and >, which is in fact exactly what is shown on the cover of Silicon.

  I can't just work how to type and # (I copied and pasted to add here)

  I even tried to go to the System Preferences/keyboard/text tab, where omw is used as an example to write "on my way". I tried to adjust to produce aa and hh to produce #, but none of these shortcuts not work either!

  System Preferences > keyboard > keyboard component...

  ... check the box that says Viewer keyboard Show [√] [and others] in the menu bar

  Close and save the changes if requested.

  Go to the menu bar and search the new symbol that looks like a small window with a clover inside key.

  Choose Show Keyboard Viewer.

  Now, a replica of the tiny keyboard appears on the screen. Hold down the modifier (shift, option, control) keys and it will show you which can generate each key.
