  I had problems with Firefox hanging (seems related to Flash on a particular Web site).   Today (and it happened before today, but rarely), open the bookmark page as if it was a picture in the active window... otherwise said, my ISP Portal occupies about 3/4 of the window, but more on the left side of the window (not another tab or a window, but in the same window) is a thin view bookmark page. This new web page - quite foreign to the original page - has a scroll down bar, but can be made to fill the window... the previously opened web page acts as a barrier to the pleasure of the 'new' image/web page. While I can understand the right border of the "new framework" and drag it to the right, he still cannot push the 'old' web page of origin of the road... the old page reached a minimum limit and I get a split screen of two completely different websites mode contained in exactly the same active window.

  The 'new' frame has an 'x' at the top right, so I could close... but my question is, why it is opened in web page/window...how from a completely different company can two web pages from completely different organizations/companies/websites are the same active window in Firefox? I have... attached screenshots. And, oh yes, not to mention that the HOW and WHY, how can you prevent (or is the best thing to just right click and open in a new tab or window...?) Which is not always convince me... I am someone who needs to know WHY something happened that should not have happened. It drives me crazy when something strange happens and the 'solution' is to change MY behavior. (You know, like if YOU were the problem, but I need to change MY behavior Instead of correct what's wrong with YOU... When YOU could make all of the obsolete situation.)

  Last night I had an open window that told me there was an error activating windows and that my version of windows was not valid. When I try and open the Windows Activation it tells me an error has occurred. Code: 0 x 80070424.

  I use the windows which was preinstalled on the computer. BUT, I ended up having to purchase backup discs from Toshiba and the service center he relocated to me. Not sure if there is a problem or if it is internal.

  The version preinstalled Windows from Toshiba is still active and read to use so that I can t imagine you must activate your copy of Windows if it was preinstalled on Toshiba drive or recovery

• Active window loses focus

  All past this problem recently. It began not with an upgrade of the OS, if I had just restarted the computer after having been passed away on a trip.

  The active window, I have been working in suddenly loses focus, sometimes in the middle of a Word, I care. A moment I am typing away and all goes well and the next moment every keystroke causes a "thunk" sound effect and I look for my strikes were not registered and the three tasks in the upper left corner color (buttons close, reduce and fullscreen) are grayed out.   We found that the list of forms/open windows displayed in Windows XP (on the right by clicking on the name of the application in the windows taskbar) seems to indicate all open and active windows/forms in the application.

  We would like to know how to enable the same functionality in a Windows 7 environment. The best we can do now is to double click on the name of the application on the windows taskbar to switch between active windows/Forms in the application. We would like a menu similar to the windows XP appearance about running on Windows 7 when it comes to this particular feature.

  The taskbard has changed significantly in Windows Vista and 7. You can get a similar functionality to what you call by customizing the taskbar in the taskbar properties. In addition, now press SHIFT key while right-clicking to display a menu similar to what you show in your screenshot, except that it does not display the name of the element. In Windows 7, the feature make you is typically done by hovering over the icon in the bar tasks and selecting one of the points of view which appears above the element.

  You can use the Windows shellapi to do a limited customization of the task bar, but this API is very difficult to use and I would not recommend this approach.

  CVI provides a method to change the name of the item in the taskbar (see this KB), but it does not add the name after the restoration in the context menu.

  The difference is that you have a legally activated Windows version and the neighbor does not work. The version of neighbours of Windows can work as well as your version legally activated, but it still falls into the category of piracy.

• Pavilion Notebook 15-ab010nr: chaotic random scrolling and active window change - baffled!

  All was well with my Pavilion laptop until one day he began to suffer from a strange video behavior.  While in an active window, suddenly the screen would be automatically scroll upwards or downwards, or in part.  I would scroll to where I was, but then it would scroll away again without my touch.  With a window with no scroll, he would sometimes just change the active window.  So I could be typing and then all of a sudden I'm on another window.  At some point I just watched in disbelief as demonstrated by the receipt of a screenshot screen, then a selection of menu of Outlook and a new email has been selected.  I waited to be typed in the destination address, thinking that someone had control of my laptop, but it stopped there... nothing else was done (thankfully).

  I thought I was suffering from a particular virus, so I searched online to see if everyone was suffering similar symptoms. Nothing.  My antivirus program had not taken anything (Avast!). I downloaded Malwarebytes and ran it... Nothing found.  I applied a bunch of Windows system updates and rebooted... problem still not fixed.

  Then I've reconsidered and suspect somehow my computer has been compromised and a hacker was "playing" with my computer remotely (though the behavior seemed a little too random).  I have disabled Internet access and it still preserved.  I had a mouse external USB installed, so I unplugged which just in case where--no difference.  I thought that perhaps the touchpad was of certain films or light debris on the surface, so I cleaned it... no change.

  I had never experienced this before.  And I couldn't find any recent references to anyone else knows this.  My computer to develop a particular hardware defect?  Still under warranty, but I didn't want to go through this hassle.

  I went into the settings advanced for mouse control properties and made a few changes:

  (1) click order/settings (the Panel--> mouse), then to finger several gestures and look disabled options 3 and 4 finger (as I don't need them)

  (2) in Windows 8 tiles devices--> mouse and touchpad and change the settings of PC--> PC, I increase the interval of LONG.

  So far, after two full days, not more random behavior of mouse pointer.

  Probably, this can be corrected by taking possession of these files / directories.  Once you do this, however, you will find probably your permissions in disarray try to re - install the drive in your computer to Windows 7...

• This copy of Windows is not activated. After replacing the hard drive. The activation window is empty.

  The activation window is empty. XP Pro SP3 + System (2 updates the version) beta of SP4 added due to problems of program. Build 2600.xpsp + sp3_gdr_101209-1647(Service Pack 3). Problem started after the replacement of the boot hard drive that wasn't. New drive has been a ghost of the old boot copy and active. Having the disk key and product to install but the CD won't deal with any problems indicating that the version of the program is different, probably because of upgrades SP. The program disk is that Windows XP Professional Service pack 2 Version 2002, Ref. 0304 x 10-52217 and has passed many tests for over the years of downloads genuine microsoft software. • XP Home Edition, SP3. Active window becomes inactive, no clicks, then becomes active after 5-10 seconds.

  I use XP Home Edition, SP3.  When I'm working in an active window (say, MS Word), the window has become suddenly idle for 5 to 10 seconds and then becomes active again.  Everyone knows about this problem?  I thought it might be a problem of Outlook and run the detect and repair command, but that did not help.

  I had the same problem except that it was on Windows 7.  Well, it would not matter what OS is in my case.

  Symptoms: Everything seemed normal until I opened Outlook 2007 and had messages in my Inbox.  Once the messages have arrived in my Inbox outlook began to lose his accent all ~ 5 seconds. I would try to compose an email and he would lose his orientation (became inactive) for about 3-5 seconds then it would possibly come crazy me backwards.

  Solution: Open the the Task Manager and sorted in addition to the processor.  Open outlook and left he opened in such a way that I would be able to display the Task Manager and Outlook-by-side.  Click outlook so that it had the focus.  With outlook open, I started noticing that whenever he would lose his focus a process called TMAS_OS.exe jump upward.  I searched my computer for the file "TMAS_OS.exe" and found its location in Trend new application called "Titanium".  Apparently, it is associated with a software component plug-in 'purchase of Outlook outlook extension support?' and it seemed to go nuts.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app and now everything is fine.  It drove me crazy and it was the first time that the trend has never made me heartache.

  UPDATE: the issue made ugly reappeared the next day.  Apparently, initial installation, antispam behaves but on reboot antispam titanium going nuts once more.  It may be an incompatibility between the add-in (AntiSpam) TMA of trend microphones for Outlook 2007 running on a Windows7 64-bit operating system?

  For now I have disabled the supplement product TMA Titanium Internet Security 2011 trendmicro until they found a solution.  I'll just have to idetify and deal with any spam myself.

  To turn off the snap TMA:

  1. close Outlook, and then open the main console for Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security
  2. click on the 'Settings' button at the bottom
  3. click on 'Internet & Email orders' on the left
  4. click on 'Spam' on the left
  5 uncheck "Filter unsolicited advertisements and other unwanted e-mail messages" > apply > OK
  6. exit the main Console

  You can check THAT TMA is disabled:
  1. open Outlook
  2 tools > Trust Center > click on Add-ins > on the bottom, make sure that the ' Manage: ' drop-down list is set to "COM Add-ins" and click on the "..." button. "> Search FRO"TMA"must be unchecked
