    Hello

    I've activated archiving in BPM, deploy a project with active archiving option, but I see no data archiving tables.

    Hello
    Make sure you have "Expiration of the Forum" (in days), the latency of crusher, Crusher specified start time the tab of your engine Services.

    For example, if you have "Instance Expiration" defined as 2 days ended then, bodies stay in the engine for 2 days. Only after this Crusher it removes the engine and moves them to database Archive.

    -Thank you,
    Malar.

  • Online archive file is not visible via Outlook

    We have upgraded from Exchange Server 2007 running on a W2K3 R2 server to Exchange Server 2010 on a W2K8 server. We have activated archiving online for mailbox store a dozen. Archive Folders can be seen where they have access to e-mail through Outlook Web Access, but not via Outlook. Bought a volume for Outlook 2010 stand alone license. Uninstalled Outlook 2007. Installed Outlook 2010 standalone - could not yet see the archive folders. Uninstalled Office and Outlook; re-installed Outlook 2010 standalone - could not yet see the archive folders. Found a computer that don't have office and installed Outlook 2010 stand alone - still not good.

    What needs to be done to use archive online with Outlook clients? Is it Outlook? Is there a setting to EMC that we missed?

    Your question is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for the IT Pro TechNet public. Please post your question in the TechNet forum.

  • Configuration log archiving in RAC environment

    I've activated archiving during the installation of RAC.

    So currently the archive logs is kept on the ASM diskgroup + DATA

    I need to change the destination of journaling archive to a local drive on each node.

    RAC1 archived information redo for its disk and so the RAC2.

    Should what procedure I follow

    SQL > show parameter log_archive_dest_state_1

    VALUE OF TYPE NAME
    ------------------------------------
    allow the chain of log_archive_dest_state_1

    SQL > alter system set log_archive_dest_1 = ' LOCATION = / RAC1 ' sid = 'RAC1.

    SQL > alter system set log_archive_dest_1 = ' LOCATION = / RAC2 ' sid = 'RAC2. "

    Date of arrival:
    SQL > alter system archive log current;

    and check... check the log files to / RAC1 / * on node RAC1 RAC2 / / * on RAC2 node.

    In addition, you should keep Archivelog files on the shared DRIVE, it's easy to back up and recover data + database...

  • Size Archive Flashback

    Hello
    I have a set of tables for which I activated archive flashback. Now, when I run a series of transactions on these tables, they get changed and therefore the archive is filled. I need to find the size of archived data (just historical, not current data) after a series of transactions. Is there an easy way to find the actual size of the archive in FBDA?

    You have made a classic mistake and posted this question in several forums: this is a really bad practice likely to produce anger and which makes it harder for you to get the desired response.

    I answered your question in the other forum. You need to go and find it and then close one of these two threads.

  • Passage of custody of data with broker fails with ORA-16570 / ORA-16665

    I'm using Data Guard 11 g on Windows Server 2012 64 Bit. Recently, I have configured the broker to manage the permutations more uncomfortable.

    Unfortunately the digital switchover does not work. Broker Setup seems fine, since I can activate t and redo apply works perfectly...

    Now, the behavior is as follows... Once I put the passage through brokers, it shows the following:

    DGMGRL > passage to the smart_stb

    Continue to pass, please wait...

    Error: ORA-16665: wait for the result of a database

    Failed.

    Unable to failover, primary database is always "smart".

    The digital switchover happens, there is no restart of the primary database well! Does not appear to be linked to a DGMGRL buggy service entrance. In fact the database will not yet descended. The principal is supending all processes while trying to do so. Broker runs into a timeout, of course, but the principal remains in a State of supending. The primary doesn't seem to be able to cominicate with side standby or vice versa. Which is strange since the restoration of log shipping and apply is workng fine as mentioned... do a manual failover. I don't know what could cause this kind of behavior... Double checked everything. Once I restart the two databases and align on the rule of law that the digital transition is complete. But Needless to say that it is not intending to use the broker...

    A logon trigger that makes an insert in a table for each log in the appearance of this behavior. Since dataguard brings the standby database open mode ReadOnly cannot insert the trigger and the strange behavior as described happens!

    But when I turn on the history of the archives, it is lacking in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs

    I have to set manually in the FRA directory? Where can I find?

    Hello

    11.2 g, there no default value for the parameters of the FRA, which means NO default value for the parameter db_recovery_file_dest and db_recovery_file_dest_size.

    You must enable the use of FRA settings two parameters together (see link to docs ). in a RAC configuration all instances of a cluster should see the same location of FRA and the same size of FRA.

    for archiving, you have activated archiving before activating the FRA and without specifying any destination archive in this situation Oracle choose the default location is: $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/arch (Aix is platform specific see configura archive location).

    You must define the LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_n parameter at LOCATION = USE_DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST after anbling FRA.

  • Standby configuration primary Oracle 11.2.0.1.0

    Hi all

    I have a Setup primary and physical the previous day. I'm planning a permutation between primary and standby. Both my primary and standby is now in phase and I took a few steps, what is mentioned below: -.

    Primary: -.

    SQL > select max(sequence#) from v$ log_history;

    MAX(SEQUENCE#)
    --------------
    146

    Standby time: -.

    SQL > select max(sequence#) from v$ log_history;

    MAX(SEQUENCE#)
    --------------
    146

    My switchover_status of the primary database shows 'to the rescue', but my switchover_status watch watch "unauthorized." Please suggest in that case I can go for a failover. I'm waiting for all your contributions.

    Kind regards
    Arijt

    Hello
    This is the real situation. First pass at the Stand By and Stand By unauthorized.

    A few steps to make the transition to digital:

    -If YOU do not THE BROKER CONFIGURED:

    VALIDATE PRIMARY AND STANDBY

    SQL > select db_unique_name, open_mode, database_role, v database name $;

    VALIDATE THE LGWR APPLY (ON ALL THE NŒUDS IN THE CASE OF CARS)

    SQL > SELECT client_process, process, sequence #, status from v$ managed_standby;

    VALIDATE THE SEQUENCE OF LOGS (IT DOES NOT NECESSARILY IMPLY THAT YOUR DG IS OK)

    Select thread #, max(sequence#) of the newspaper of v$
    Group thread #;

    VALIDATE THE ALERT. JOURNAL

    Check if the last SEQ # applies very well.

    PREPARE DATABASE BACKUP

    SQL > alter recover managed standby database disconnect log file using current;

    SQL > select db_unique_name, open_mode, database_role, v database name $;

    KEEP ONLY ONE INSTANCE OF PRIMARY (BEST PRACTICE)
    It is not mandatory, but I usually keep a single NŒUD RUNING on PRIMARY and a NŒUD ON STANDBY (CASE of THE CARS)

    MAKING THE SWITCH TO TEACHING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (PRIMARY-> STANDBY)

    SQL > ALTER DATABASE COMMIT TO SWITCH STANDBY MODE PHYSICS WITH THE STOP OF THE SESSION;

    VALIDATE THE ALERT. LOG (must display the following message on the PRIMARY ALERT)

    ARCH: Noswitch of archiving the thread 1, 329 sequence
    ARCH: End-of-Redo archive thread 1 sequence 329 branch
    ARCH: LGWR is actively archiving destination LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2

    VALIDATE THE MOVE TO STANDBY STATUS (SHOULD BE IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL)

    SQL > SELECT switchover_status from v$ database;

    SWITCHOVER_STATUS
    --------------------
    AT THE ELEMENTARY LEVEL

    VALIDATE THE TRANSITION TO THE STATUS OF PRIMARY EDUCATION (SHOULD BE NECESSARY RECOVERY)

    SQL > SELECT switchover_status from v$ database;

    SWITCHOVER_STATUS
    --------------------
    RECOVERY NEEDED

    ENGAGE THE STANDBY TO PRIMARY

    SQL > ALTER DATABASE COMMIT TO THE MOVE TO THE PRIMARY WITH THE STOP OF THE SESSION;

    OPEN THE DAY BEFORE GOT R & W

    Just to remind: to THE RESCUE of the ROLES, you just need to do the reverse procedure.

    As I said above, there are a lot of steps, you must configure the DG and the BROKER, however, the DIGITAL switchover process is basically that I describe above.

    It may be useful

  • DataGuard - primary not applying not newspapers in standby mode

    Having a problem applying newspapers of the day before, apparently is not setup correctly. I'm sure I'm missing something simple here, but would like any encoding or help. Thanks in advance.

    Hello;

    Given your combination of errors I could watch this:

    Creation of archive Log fails with error ORA-16014, ORA-00312 [ID 1373314.1]

    Assuming you are using FRA I would check its location:

    SQL > show parameter db_recovery

    If I remember well by default DGMGRL takes destination archive as FRA.

    Use the commands below to each place to check if the parameters change.

    DGMGRL > see the database CDPMTSB logxptstatus;
    DGMGRL > see THE base of DATA CDPMTSB InconsistentProperties;
    DGMGRL > see the CDPMTSB InconsistentLogXptProps database;

    DGMGRL > see the database CDPMT logxptstatus;
    DGMGRL > see THE base of DATA CDPMT InconsistentProperties;
    DGMGRL > see the CDPMT InconsistentLogXptProps database;

  • Deleted on standby but becomes interesting alerts log entry

    So we got together several tops of primary database in our local data center, ensures the remote location.

    We are closing our remote location and closed our Standby free, i.e., stop managed standby, removed archive_log_dest, changed archive_log_dest_state, etc. However, in some primary databases, I see a weird entry in the log of alerts:

    Destination evolution 2 remotely at the local level during the journal archives #: sequence 2 #: 48708 thread #: 1

    If I check my local destination, the archive log is created end. In the distance, no archives are created.

    I have not found anything on Google, Metalink, anywhere! Has anyone another considering this before, and if so, do I need to worry?

    Oracle version is 11.1.0.7

    Hello;

    Some information. You can ignore it.

    I went back to some alert newspapers 2010 and found:

    network reconnect abandoned

    Attempting destination LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2 network reconnect

    Setting 'active' archival for destination LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2

    Not a lot of chance to find here as any older version of Oracle disappeared and a move SAN makes alert old rare newspapers. Still some information or Oracle throws an error.

    Best regards

    Subsequently

    Tried to recreate the message using several combinations of the parameters you listed. Impossible to recreate, but have 11.2.0.3.0 to test.

  • Go crazy with calendar

    I think it's my fault, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong:

    I imported my old calendar (since 2002) in the hive via Outlook import .ics. It took time, but worked without any problems.
    I saw all my calendar entries.
    Now, a few days later, I worked normally with my calendar all the time, but only current or future days.
    Today I had to look for an entry that can be about two years ago.
    I know what year and month it was and I just wanted to see the details.

    So I scrolled in Outlook until this month. And scrolling, I have seen, that all my entries that have more than 2 months have disappeared. (But I had checked after importation, they are there).
    I looked in Outlook if there is a setting of the 'synchronization range' or if I had accidentally archived these entries - no, I have not. No active archiving.
    Just to check if the entries are really walkways Zimbra , I opened and - voila - all entries are there. I can scroll back until 2002, nothing missing.
    OK, I can't always find the wrong setting in Outlook, so I tried Thunderbird Lightning.
    With this client, I see all my entries up to 3 months ago.

    I'm getting really crazy. What hurts set up? I want every customer - no matter which - to display all entries when I scroll back.
    Someone at - it an idea?

    Thank you
    Jochen

    In Outlook do a right-click on the calendar folder and click Properties, select the admin tab, you'dd see the efault is to hide the entries prior to the age of 2 months.

    You use CalDAV in the lightning. For performance reasons the hive CaldDAV service returns only three months ago and all future entries entered

  • Instances of ad databases

    OK, I really need help my head around this packing as I am new to Oracle.

    I have a server called cs - 11 g
    I have a database instance running called demo1
    The database is also called demo1

    I can connect in this CS - 11g and also a Workstation client as I have it set up a listener for it.

    Last night I created a new database called oracat - it created a new instance for which I assume is what was supposed to be to produce?

    Now,.

    When I connect to sqlplus using the shortcut "SQLPLUS" I can connect with SYS AS SYSDBA and provide a password. How can I know WHICH Forum I am connected to? I realized that I was connected to oracat when I activated archive by connecting to this database instead of demo1, which is what I wanted.

    Thus,.

    I opened a cmd prompt and type:
    sqlplus/nolog

    SQL > connect sys@demo1 as sysdba
    password: *.
    ORA-12520: TNS:listener could not find a Manager is available for the requested server type

    It's the outlut of the lsnrctl services command:

    Managers:

    The command completed successfully

    It was working fine until I created the oracat database

    So I stop the services OracleServiceORACAT and start the SQLPLUS icon - I think it will connect me to the only instance running - BAD:
    Enter the user name: sys as sysdba
    Enter the password:
    ERROR:
    ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error

    Just when I think I'm starting to understand oracle I'm in this mess.

    Now in OEM:
    When I run:
    https://CS-11g.cs-gears.com:1158 / em/console/opening session/connection
    I can connect to the instance of demo1!

    What happens here?
    How do I know in SQLPLUS which instance I am connected to?
    Is it possible to run 2 instances on the same server?

    Sorry for the frustrated tone.

    Thank you

    How do I know in SQLPLUS which instance I am connected to?

    You probably want to do is select * from v$ database to see the name of the database.

    Is it possible to run 2 instances on the same server?

    Sure. If you have the power to him.

  • Select archive_table

    Windows Server 2003 Servicepack last system
    Oracle 11.1.0.6

    I activated archive flashback for a set of tables in my db test.
    When I do a select as select * from dba_flashback_archive_tables;

    It shows me as well as other info "ARCHIVE_TABLE_NAME", in my case, "SYS_FBA_HIST_69539".

    Are there opportunities DESC or directly select the 'SYS_FBA_HIST_69539' table.
    When I try this, I always answer ' table or view does not exist "(connected as user sys)

    searching with
    Select * from all_all_tables where table_name like '% SYS_FBA ';
    shows me 8 tables but no resullt for "SYS_FBA_HIST_69539."

    Thank you

    Joachim

    Hello..

    Refer to [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28320/statviews_3175.htm]

    SYS_FBA_HIST_69539 is the name of the table to archive that contains the historical data of the table SCOTT. I think that this name (SYS_FBA_HIST_xxxxx) is given by ORACLE itself.

    After a little research on Google, I got the answer. The answer is that SYS_FBA_HIST_xxxxx is the name of the internal table 'story' of archive data of blowback.

    Archives are stored in three such tables identified in the library Morgan under Archive Flashback

    Tables with names generated system such as sys_fba_hist_70439.

    Find tables, collect stats, and then you can use DBMS_SPACE. CREATE_TABLE_COST to calculate its growth.
