Active directory 2003 migrate to active directory 2008

Hello, I have an AD2003 field to many problems.  We also have Exchange 2007. We want to create a new forest area AD 2008 in the same IP subnet and install Exchange 2010.  Can I create a new forest of domain in the same IP subnet? What is the best way to create this new domain, and then migrate the workstation to the new domain and install all the other cool applications from scratch?

Yes. But before you talk to your representative Oracle of Oracle identity management software. A combination of the two may be a better choice.

  • Migration to SQL SERVER 2008 for questions of Oracle 10 g.

    Hello

I'm trying to migrate from SQL Server 2008 to Oracle 10 g and I end up with a few problems that I wanted to ask you some info about it.
First of all, I followed a tutorial
    http://St-curriculum.Oracle.com/OBE/DB/hol08/sqldev_migration/MSSQLServer/migrate_microsoft_sqlserver_otn.htm
and and in the latest version of Oracle SQL developer, I downloaded, I found not the Output of the Script of Capture of database load option.
My first question is how can I add either this option or y at - it a new way to load the script to capture?
Can I use the migration wizard and after all, I had the full message of migrating the application.
When I tried to open my connectionss, he told me version 11.2 is necessary. Does this mean that developer Oracle SQL 3 only
perform the migration of oracle 11g? And if I tried the previous versions, it does not support SQL server 2008.
What should I do in this case?

    Thank you!

The output of the Script Capture charge of database can be found in the tools of-> Migration section.

You have already discovered the "create data base Capture Scripts" in tools-> Migration menu and you have run the script that generated the DAT files.
Now click on tools-> option-> Migration migrate, choose your repository, add a project, and then on the next page you must choose between ONLINE and offline mode. When you use the DAT files, please choose the offline mode and add the * ocp file with the subdirectories that contains the DAT files.

SQL Developer is able to connect to Oracle 10.2 db as well. Can you please be more specific about the second question and provide more details the steps that you did?

I need to know if I can integrate Single Sign On for my Cisco VPN Client v.5 with my Active Directory which run on windows 2008

No, unfortunately, Single Sign On is only supported on Clientless SSL VPN (WebVPN), not on the IPSec VPN Client AnyConnect VPN Client.

  • Unable to set the password in Active Directory 2008 R2 group policy

We are trying to create a group policy that renames the built-in to our servers administrator account and change the password.  The strange thing is that when we create this Group Policy Computer Configuration > preferences > Control Panel Settings > local users and groups, the password section is grayed out.  We have a test domain, and this isn't a problem here.

We tried to set the password with different accounts (domain administrator and other members of the Domain Admins group) and different machines (directly on my workstation and domain controller).  Here is a screenshot of what we see.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I found the cause in MS14-025.

  • Need help with TLS not active Windows 2008 R2 64-bit

Our companies security vulnerability scanner reports alert status high following for port 443. The system is updated in the plots and we followed this MS doc on how to enable TLS https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn786418.aspx#BKMK_SchannelTR_TLS12

    Vulnerability scanner is reporting.

[top] [443, tcp, www] TLS Version 1.2 protocol not enabled

V1.2 TLS is not enabled on this port.

    CVE: #

    Summary:

The service remote crypt communications, but does not have TLS 1.2 active.

    Details:

TLSv1.2 is not currently enabled on a service that supports SSL/TLS traffic. Due to recent security issues with encrypted protocols, devices and applications owners are requested to ensure that their systems and applications support version 1.2 in the anticipation of future efforts to eliminate the use of TLSv1.0 and v1.1.

    Difficulty:

    Select TLSv1.2.

Because each application/service handles this differently, please consult product support or documentation staff. In many cases, the product may not yet support v1.2, in which case it is advisable to open a defect/problem with technical support ticket.

As with most configuration changes, restart the service to ensure that the change to take effect.

This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)

  • Can I move datadrives from a Windows 2003 server to a windows 2008 R2 enterprise server? Both servers are edge power Dell T610

We are migrating Server 2003 to 2008 R2, Enterprise Edition.  I have the OS loaded and ready. However, the Server 2003 has almost a 1 TB of data, that I just wanted to know if I can get the readers in the new server and everything would be ok. If readers present themselves as foreign, it can be fixed, but I'm worried how 2008 will see readers.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Exchange 2003 Migration to Office365 with SSO

    Hi all

    Merry Christmas to start!

I work for a company that run Exchange 2003. We plan to do a migration to Office365 and I am researching on the best solution.

I am aware that there are three main options available, hybrid/intermediary/putting in service.

My instincts suggest that the best option would be to complete the migration using the staging process, but I think that if I take this route I can't implement single sign on? This is the case...

If so, is this means to ensure single sign-on can be used, then I can only implement a hybrid solution?

    Hello

  • Windows Server 2003 migration

    Hello world

According to your experience, I would like to get your opinion on the best approach to migrate a Windows Server 2003 domain controller and all the services available thereon.

    A few details:

In our network, we have 2 Windows Server 2003, one is the domain controller that is the DNS server, DHCP server, file server, mail server (Exchange) and support our intranet (sharepoint 3.0). The other host our SQL Server 2005 (which has 2 databases, intranet and our ERP database).

In our infrastructure, we have about 50 users, some printers (4) network and about 10 items of group policy.

Thank you in advanced for your review.

  • Server 2003 migration

    Hello

I have a 2003 SP2 SBS server and plan to migrate to a new Server SBS essentials Server 2012 running.

I already read on the site of MS the steps to do the migration, but there is a concern that I have. The current Server 2003 is the local domain controller running AD, as well as the Exchange and running backups. Documentation of migration, he said that essentials can serve as an Exchange Server. Is there a solution for this? I intend to turn off the current 2003 server once the new server is in place. However, I don't want to be stuck where I find myself with 2 servers.

If essetials will not work to do a full migration is another 2012 OS Server I can use on my newly built SBS?
