Hi poojaraj,

I think the three possible questions here

Driver problem

-If it's a driver issue then you should have a yellow icon in Device Manager saying maybe 'network controller' or 'unknown device '.

BIOS Wireless LAN is disabled

-You can check your BIOS settings, as it has an option to disable the WIFI hardware,

I recently did a clean Windows 7 on my mini installation because the upgrade of Windows 10 left essentially unusable. I managed to install windows 7 Professional on this topic but I am not able to connect to my wifi to do updates. In Device Manager it says missing a network controller and video controller. I was able to find an adapter (Realtek PCI FE Family Controller) but I need help to find the others. I tried looking for drivers available under my product on the HP site, but she had something specific to Windows 10.

    Hello:

    You need these drivers...

    Network controller:

This package contains drivers for the Broadcom Wireless LAN Server supported in models cards mobile supported and operating systems.

    File name: sp57965.exe

Video controller: you have posted you are running W7 64 bit, but your laptop came with W7 32 bit.

You must use the driver directly from Intel 64-bit for the 64-bit version.  a 2nd on the list.

Note: I think the Intel driver site is messed up because when I click on the link to get the driver, nothing happens, and this happened to me twice today.

You may need to wait until after July 4 holiday to get the driver if you have the same problem.

  • HP Pavilion 15 laptop: Cannot install the driver/adapter wifi

Hello, my wifi card has had a history of problems before now, I had to reset it frequently that I lost the connection easily. Today, I had to start questions so I did a hard reset on my computer. Then I realized the wifi adapter "disappeared" networks and sharing centre and I could not connect to any wifi. Broadcom wireless adapter was also hidden in Device Manager. I then uninstalled and tried to reinstall the card using HP Recovery Manager but the Device Manager I don't see anything installed. Installation on the HP site can also get nothing. I'm not sure if the Broadcom adapter is the problem at my misfortunes of wifi.

That's what I see in the Device Manager. Thanks in advance!

  • HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PC: Realtek RTL8188EE adapter wifi connectivity issues

Help, please! I had bought this HP Pavilion computer with operating system Windows 8.1 and did the upgrade of Windows 10, when it came out. My wifi worked well until a few months ago. Now, I lose connectivity constantly. I searched the forums and tried everything I can find. I have the Realtek RTL8188EE 802. 11 b/g/n adapter Wi - Fi. All is well with our router, like all other electronic devices in the home are connected to the internet just fine. It is located in the same room and never had any problems connecting to the front. I drove back to 8.1 for Windows, made sure I had the latest drivers from the adapter, and then restored to older versions, tried to change minor settings on the adapter (i.e. make sure that power management area is not checked). I uninstalled the driver and removed the software, then restarted. Checked to make sure that the wireless encryption is WPA. Is there anything else I can try? I use this computer for my business and need to work. Nothing I've tried has fixed the problem.

    Hi @jborgwardt,

    Thanks for the reply.

Sparkles1 is absent today. I'll follow your post.

I just want to confirm if the current version of the wireless network adapter driver is 1.0.0.17 Rev.A sp68120.exe in your device manager.

Also, please run the test component in the UEFI Diagnostic Hardware for wireless module:

HP Notebook PC - detection of hardware failures (Windows, 10, 8)

Let me know if it satisfies the test of material.

    Kind regards

  • Network faulty adapter - WiFi issues

    Dear Sir.
Suddenly my adapter wireless intel 2200 BG on a tecra M2 1 .8GHz refuses to connect to a network: normally I know how to create a wireless network without problem but now when the configuration is allright (as a test, I used my dell on the network pda: oke): what could happen, is that I've changed in tcp/ip in 'Properties' figures may be too often and too fast : windows said: "this tcp/ip is already in use" and after the failure of this wifi.

The tcp/ip information should be "automatic", because that know that there is a wireless network router. When I want to set up instead of windows using the adapter software intel 2200 BG: the router is configured in the channel 6, but the software of intel refuses to use this channel allthough I have it set on Channel 6.

Also the system restore no longer works.
I think the best is that I perform a low-level format the HARD disk with the recovery cd?

    Thanks in advance
    Dr. Weekx

    Hello

Have you tried to update the driver for the wireless card?
Please also visit the Intel site for the new version of the driver. As far as I know there is the latest version:
    http://downloadfinder.Intel.com/scripts-DF-external/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=1637&lang=eng

Maybe the update of the driver solves this problem and you n t need to recover the operating system.

The T61 came with built-in WiFi support. Almost all WiFi routers can recognize and work with the old WiFi cards although the speeds and levels of security may not be to today's standards. However, for home use is probably not a matter of concern.

For maximum speed and safety consider an Ethernet cable from the router to the T61. Of course if you need portability in your home then this is not an option.

P.S., almost all laptops of generation of the T61 came with built-in WiFi. If you replace the T61 with something similar, then it is likely to have WiFi at 99.9%. You can safely return the separate WiFi adapter.

  • WiFi and bluetooth missing?

    I have an Acer Apire TC - 603 i6714 NL = dt.sqxeh.019 office.

I assumed that the bluetooth 4.0 and wifi are inside the desktop computer.

The problem is that I can't explore any wifi or bluetooth adapter or settings in windows 8.1.

I bought this computer from office in January 2014 and the second day I've updated windows 8 for windows 8.1.

I show that not all models of the Acer Aspire TC-603 are delivered with the card with built-in Wi - Fi and Bluetooth features. The number of parts you provided seems to be one of those models that did not include the add-on.

You can check your device manager to display the hardware installed on your computer and if you are away from the drivers. Open your Device Manager, and then click the arrow next to network adapters. Look for the Bluetooth device or a wireless network adapter listed or any points of exclamation or yellow markings. If you do not have one, then your product came equipped with the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth expansion card.

  • Want to m6-1105dx: editing adapter Wifi, replacing Atheros AR5B125 (something better). Adapter / compatible?

Hi, need a m6-1105dx with a map of wifi Atheros AR5B125. need to upgrade the card for best wifi speeds and enjoy my Airport extreme 5 GHz band. Product # to the laptop: C2L91UA. I am running windows 10. So, what most recent wifi adapters and will be compatible with this system?

    Thank you

Sorry to say (as always) but it is the 'white list' HP and the system works only with certain very specific wifi cards. These are the only ones from the Manual:

    Atheros WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 adapter and 1 × 1 9485GN 3012 655795-001

    Atheros 802.11b/g/n adapter Bluetooth 675794-001 1 × 1 WB225

    Broadcom 4313GN 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 20702 4.0 Combo Adapter 657325-001 1 × 1

    Intel Centrino Advanced - N 6230 WLAN module 670691-001

MediaTek MT7630E 802.11bgn Wi - Fi and Mediatek Bluetooth 4.0 adapter adapter 710418-001

    RALink RT5390R wireless 802.11b/g/n 1 × 1 691415-001 adapter

    RALink RT3290LE 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter 690020-001 1 × 1

Atheros AR9565 802.11b/g/n 1 × 1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter for use only on the computer with a processor Intel 690019-001 models

That fat would be OK, but it's a typo. If you are looking for this part number, it's a much smaller card. Yet once again, I'm sorry, but this is a feature of HP had for years in order to comply with the laws of the Federal communication.

If it's 'the Answer' please click on 'Accept as Solution' to help others find it.

  • does not connect the adapter WiFi AC600 on Win10

I received the AC600 wifi card and it will not connect to or even show our connection to the internet on my windows laptop 10 5g. It will show the connection 2.4 g, and my laptop has with or without the adapter plugged. I downloaded the disc, I rebooted the router and the computer. He said that all the drivers are up to date. My phone is connected to 5g, so I know that's not the router.

You have a different SSID for 2.4 Ghz and 5 GHz signals.

You are running the latest drivers for your version of Windows 10?

    To install the driver:

    1. Download the zip file of the driver on the Linksys support site
    2. Extract the files
    3. Right click on the INF (netrtwlanu.inf) and choose install
