I sync my blackberry with my calendar outlook (gmail account) and I noticed yesterday that everything had disappeared from the blackberry calendar.  I tried to re-synchronization (from the computer to the device) and it seems to work but nothing is actually moved on the calendar.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how warns we lost since the former events (BlackBerry calendar and) Outlook calendar

When syncing BlackBerry with Outlook, I find in the BlackBerry calendar events that are more than 3 months are automatically deleted (and I'm not aware of a setting that causes this) and it syncs with Outlook which the past events are also deleted. I need especially old events on the BlackBerry, but I don't want to keep the old events on Outlook, so I can refer to them.

How can I prevent the events in Outlook are removed when they say 3 months or more in the past? (Please provide the detailed procedure)

Are there side effects of doing this might affect me?

I have looked in the Blackberry desktop Manager, but have not found a way to do this.

    Yes, try the following link:http://www.wallaceit.co.uk/mobile-phones---data-devices/stop-your-blackberry-deleting-old-calendar-i...

This will allow you to put your Blackberry to keep receipts forever. Click on the calendar on the Blackberry icon and go to menu and go from there.  The link I gave you previously should describe the way to find out where are the old entries, or choose outlook to keep in view at all times.

  • Passport blackBerry calendar - reminder

Is it possible to set 3 reminders for an event in my calendar?

I want to be called 2 days before the event, 1 day before the event and finally 2-3 hours before the equivalents.

    is this possible?

There is just a reminder by calendar with the BlackBerry calendar entry. There may be options for your needs with a third-party app, but I don't know of anyway. Another option is to create additional entries for the same appointment or event, or just an entry that repeats. For example, an entry 2 days before the event, another entry 1 day before and then the third day of the event by an appropriate reminder. The other alternative is an entry 2 days (or whatevery) before which repeats itself each day and ends on the day of the event.

In addition, depending on what you want to do exactly, you can use tasks in the application do not forget to better meet your needs.

And then there is the possibility of a third-party application.

  • The Q10 Preset blackBerry calendar events

Hello. Is it possible to permanently delete the predefined calendar events? My Q10 came with daily Stat holidays already in the calendar. I want to delete those that are not relevant for me. I don't like it when day Islander is for PEI or day of heritage for the Yukon et al. I remove and then they show again 30 seconds later. It's pretty boring.

I doubt that the period of holidays and significant events were originally in the BlackBerry calendar. Many years and many BlackBerry devices I never saw in the calendar in stock. My bet is, either they were added when sync you would with something, or an application put them there.

You can toggle it by day, week and month. You can locate them at the bottom of your screen. You can set your default calendar view (default value is day) per month. You can do this by sliding on the upper bezel and drag it to the bottom, you can see the settings. Now the settings, tap general > calendar view the default set for the month.

On the display of the month, you can drag to the left to change from month to month. Alternatively, you can drag down to display the month.

    Good luck!

  • Add functionality to the application calendar

Hey people. Curious about something new to me: how easy it is to get the calendar to features application to revive in your own application via the menus. If you had an application planning and research users to be able to use the calendar and select your menu item, which is practice or should you do your own programming interface...

    TKS

    Justin D.

You can add an ApplicationMenuItem to the calendar via ApplicationMenuItemRepository application.

Your application is called via the ApplicationMenuItem the run() method, when selected by the user. The currently selected calendar event is passed into your method through the context object.

    Does that answer your condition?

  • BlackBerry Z10 ical calendar

Still, I can't sync my calendar. BlackBerry tech told me it was a known problem with Gmail, but now they have a difficulty and therefore closed the case. It is supposed to be an upgrade, but I haven't seen any. Someone been able to synchronize ical?

The issue is now resolved by using steps ahead and CALDAV to the address of the server caldav.ical.com.

I had removed my address book thinking with the updated version, I'd be able to re - install ical and everything would come at the same time. But this does not work, and so we thought that we could install the address book through the advanced configuration and using the address of the server contacts.icloud.com. So it works now. There is another problem where you need to open the contacts on your computer for the whole of the information coming on the phone, but it's easier to manage.

  • BlackBerry smartphone error synchronizing Calendar using Desktop Manager 4.7, Outlook 2003, on the storm

I just installed Desktop Manager on my PC (Windows XP).

    Contacts sync fine.

    Calendar does not synchronize:

"Schedule of playback device" is fine.

    "Treatment device calendar" is fine.

'Reading of MS Outlook calendar' is where the error occurs:

Desktop Manager starts to read Outlook 988 items and constantly stops at the point #227, with one of the two error messages:

    (1) ' reported Intellisync, unknown error"or

    (2) 'operation ended unexpectedly.'

    I followed the directions for:

This operation required that I change the iloptcfg.cfg file.

    Still no luck. any suggestions?

around on this issue... the only way I found to fix this was to reset the device completely and synchronize "fresh" from my computer. Note: has happened since then, and every time that it is when I use the camera to change a recurring APPT. For now, my lessons learned: whenever I need to edit or delete a recurring appt, I do it from the computer so I do not get locked out of sync to the storm.

    Hi all!

This problem is actually caused by the incorrect default service on your BlackBerry smartphone.  This article should be able to explain in more detail and instruction to fix it:

    www.BlackBerry.com/btsc/KB10374

In addition, if the service bureau is the only service listed from your BlackBerry smartphone, this means that your handheld is missing your BIS service books email account.   The service books can be easily send from your phone smart BlackBerry or the BIS E-mail Web Site.  For instructions to return the address maintenance of your handheld, you can follow the article below:

  • Smartphones blackBerry calendar suddenly not log with outlook

I suggest the following steps (reboot insert a lot of restarting your PC... not only restarts, but at full power down). In addition, it is recommended that you are connected to the PC on an account with full administrator rights. In addition, Vista, use the option "Run As Administrator" for everything.

    (1) remove the package to update your device OS of your PC (Add/Remove Programs)

    (2) properly uninstall the RIM DTM software:

    (3) get a new RIM DTM software download:

    • Choose the version which is more recent and (if any) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):
    • KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize

    (4) to download a new copy of your package to your carrier OS device (on your PC):

    (5) install DTM on your PC

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones: vs email calendar default device

I'm new to the Blackberry Pearl 8130.

I use Microsoft Outlook for my calendar. I have an email address to which I've implemented on the Blackberry. However, this email address doesn't have a calendar that are associated with (and I don't want it...). The calendar application has therefore all appointments under "Default device".

On the home screen, it shows not all appointments at all. However, when I go in the calendar app it shows all my appointments. I've selected the menu button, choose 'Select Calendar' and then choose "Default device" because the calendar is not associated with the email address.

When I go back to the home screen it still has nothing set appointments. I assume he's still associate the calendar with the email address. I do know that not everyone uses the calendar provided with e-mail addresses, right?

Also, when in the application calendar, after selecting "Default device", if I try to add an appointment he will add it to the calendar with the email address and not the "default device" calendar that I use with Outlook. If I need to open another post on this topic please let me know.

Thanks in advance for your help.

OK, here's what you need to do...

    1. download ALL your calendar in Outlook information. Make sure your correct calendar.

    2. then, basically, you will remove ALL your calendar on the BlackBerry information according to the instructions I'll post below.

    3. then, you set the address you want to see your calendar 'default' by the statement in the post above.

Then, everything should be good. I have been facing the problem while you are now and had to do all this as well. Painless.

(ignore the words 'AddressBook' in these instructions for you, but it all works the same).

If you encounter errors in your calendar or address book on your BlackBerry and you want to delete the entire address book (or calendar) base on your BlackBerry, follow the instructions below. Make sure that you have a good copy of your calendar or Contacts, because this procedure will delete all the calendar entries or entries from the address book on your BlackBerry.

    1. open the Desktop Manager on your PC.

    2. open Backup/Restore > advanced.

    3. in Advanced Options, you will see a split pane screen. Left pain is what happens to save on your device and the right is a list of the existing databases.

3 select right your address book database (or your Calendar database), and then click the arrow in the Middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information on and prepare it for the backup.

    4. once the backup is complete, click the button Clear down to erase, and then clean up the database of book full address (or calendar).

    5. once it is finished, it will ask you if you want to save the backup that you created, say you Yes and check the device to make sure that the address book (or calendar) has been duly cleared out. Now, Resync the necessary contact details and you should be set to go.
