Add Microsoft difficulty It Center because IE kept freezing and crashing. The program Fix it says that I have dozens of toolbars. How can I get rid of most of them?
It lists: AG class SearchHook Alot Toolbar, Alot Toolbar Helper, AOL Toolbar, toolbar, AVG Safe Search, Baidu Toolbar, toolbar BitDefender pluss 44 to ask for more. How all this * get on my computer? How to decide which can be removed without compromising the useful programs? How can I get it my machine? Virtually none of them appear under management modules, so that they seem to be hidden fom me somehow. How or why is this possible?
Uninstall them via the--> adding control panel / remove programs.

Search for malware:
Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:
Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)
Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.
You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory. This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...
When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:
-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.
You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...
1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
2. click on the System Restore tab.
3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
5. click on OK. Then click OK again.
You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...
Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...
-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
-Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
-Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

You can use the SearchReset extension to reset preferences to default values.
Note that the SearchReset extension runs only once and then uninstalls automatically, so it will not appear on the page "> Firefox Add-ons" (topic: addons).
You can do a search on the topic: config a page to ask.com

How can I get rid of the window of Action Center? I read Center wants to tell me what action and you click on the x in the upper right of the window that appears when you open the center of the action, but I have a small window at the bottom right which is above any other window, and I want to get rid of it. It is not an x or a close button. How can I get rid of this horse?
Before this problem, when I started to Win 7 me a choice of normal startup or a 'safe mode' start because he thought that I had recently installed a device that caused a problem. Windows tried to solve the problem but says have failed, and then I was able to start windows normally. I have not recently (last days) installed anything, but the PC is about 2 weeks old, and I have installed things like an external usb drive, a printer, a flash drive, an mp3 player and a wireless mouse.

I get a window of surf canyon to appear on my desktop. I checked in my control panel and features program and it does not appear there. I checked in firefox, tools, add ons and, it seems, but it is disabled. There is no option to "remove" as there is for other add ons. And, even if it presents as being disabled, the window keeps popping up. How can I get rid of this?
According to a screen shot I've seen online, when you are in the Control Panel, uninstall a program, you are looking for is called Fast Search. It might be easier to click on the column heading "installed on" to bring the most recent infections, I mean additions, upward. I hope that here uninstallation will remove the Firefox and IE as well.

Hi EatonmcMT,
1. what security software is installed on the computer?
2 did you do changes on the computer before the show?
I suggest you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.
The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
Important: During the scan of the hard drive if bad sectors are found, the scanner tries to repair this sector, all available on which data may be lost.
Let us know if that helps.

When I create two keyframes at the same position between keyframes at different positions this way adds a loop. How can I get rid of the loop? I was just by dragging the handles on the vertex point, but I want to get rid of the loop together.
Focus on the Bezier handles on the motion path in the Composition window. You can select the tool pen (g) and hold down the Alt/Option key to select the tool convert Vertex (it looks like a V on the side) and then fix the handle manually or click on the top of the trajectory to change it to a straight line. You can also play with spatial interpretation Keyframe.
To avoid this, you can change the interpolation of keyframes in space to linear preferences. Most of the time I don't like straight so I keep my default value of Bézier.

My collection of "All photos" fills upward with images that aren't mine... most of them look like Microsoft icons. How can I get rid of them and prevent any more?
Right-click on one of the images icons Microsoft and select "Go to library folder." Check if you have imported inadvertently a system folder or documents. Check the folder in the library 'Files' pane and if it's a subfolder to navigate to the top-level folder. Make sure that it does not contain any image files you want inside LR by checking the names of all the subfolders. If in doubt always select menu library > "Show pictures in subfolders", then in grid mode through the images. Once confirmed you can 'remove' unwanted images from LR by doing a right click on the top-level folder and selecting 'delete '. The files will be deleted from LR, but not your hard drive.

We received a call last night from someone who claimed to be the Windows technical department saying that our computer has a file corrupted Microsoft on this issue. First name: Richard Williams. 0261 004030 callback number. Sounds like an Indian call center.
I can't believe that cold Microsoft calls people.
A quick search on google news suggests that people in Britain were targeted by something similar.
It's a scam.
