  I was trying to spell a text for my next blog post when I stopped too early scroll and ended up adding a misspelled word to the dictionary instead of the correctly spelled word.

  The result is that now, the misspelling is accepted and I don't know how to reverse this trend.

• Remove context menu items get Suggestions and add them to the dictionary

  How can I delete the 'get the Suggestions' and the items of the context menu "Add to Dictionary" for an EditField?

  I request this API targets 4.2 but running this application on 4.7 API (TOUR) presents these two new context menu items. Is it possible to disable the elements of pop-up to appear? I tried setting the indicator of EditField.NO_LEARNING but that does not work.

  Found the solution. You must set the field. NON_SPELLCHECKABLE Pavilion on the style.

• Is there a way to add a whole list of words both persdict.dat?

  I added a whole list of words (several hundred) to persdict.dat each word on a line separate then saved the file and everything looked OK. However, none of these words are recognized as OK by Firefox's spell check. Obviously, this is not the way to do. It seems that one must use the "Add to Dictionary" thingie for EACH WORD, WORD BY WORD for it to be recognized by Firefox spell checking. There must be a better way.

  I solved the problem a few days ago. The mistake I made was that I forgot to close Firefox before making changes to the persdict.dat. Once I did that, everything worked as I expected to work after the raise Firefox again. I guess that's the equivalent of what you suggested. Thanks for your reply.

• How do the dictionary synonyms for words that are spelled correctly

  I send E-MAILS and spell checker asks if I would like to change the words, but I can't find a way to add them to the thesaurus. How can I do this?

  It would "add to Dictionary", not add to the thesaurus.

  TY so much... it works now. I see what I was doing wrong. I would right click, but not on the misspelled word and the area to correct the spelling & "add to Dictionary" did not come upward. After reading your response and clicking on the link, I decided to try by clicking right on misspelled word... YEAAAAAAAAAAA!

  Sometimes I can't get the dictionary in InDesign CS 5 for windows to learn the word I use on & more.  The Add button located in front of the add user dictionary is disabled.  How can I activate this button & save something like "mm" in "mm/dd/yyyy?

  I tried, but it turns out that the problem was that I did not notice it stopped at modal words & phrases.  Once I changed the preferences of spelling, the problem disappeared.

  I have a PKG_X package that contains a SELECT from V$ SESSION.
  the package is compiled under SCHEMA_X.
  SCHEMA_X has a SCHEMA_ROLE role and in this role, I have the privilege to CHOOSE ANY DICTIONARY.
  but the package is created with compilation errors "table or view does not exist" on V$ SESSION.
  
  Now if I add the DICTIONARY ALL SELECT privilege system stand alone the problem is resolved.
  
  Why this is happening? knowing that if I run select * from V$ SESSION to a keg of SQL window I Manon DICTIONARY-ALL-SELECT, in the role and not as stand-alone system privilege.

• Firefox crashes after closing any window.

  I have this problem that firefox always stuck at like 20 seconds every time when I close another window of firefox. I usually have several firefox windows open at the same time. When I'm near one of them, the rest of them get stuck seconds before they can do anything, sometimes fell (not common). I see that firefox crashing usually has to do with some windows of firefox were running online video, like youtube or others. It can be any advertising on a Web site that is in the form of moving images. But crashing isn't really common. Just stuck everytime when I close a window of firefox among others.

  I thought it was because my computer is old but Internet Explorer doesn't have this problem on my computer. I even downgraded firefox to version 28 ( I used to have the latest, 36?) That did not solve the problem. I am running on windows 7. I would like to keep using firefox because it allows add-on so I don't want to switch to IE. Does anyone know what the problem is?   Take all your suggestions, I updated Adobe flash player. Checked, but there is nothing to update on the graphics card. Check the extensions you mentioned (and disable and enable as suggested), okay, once I have disabled this "dictionary tooltip 1.7" extension, firefox works great. Any delay to the closure of firefox windows more.

  (But the adobe flash player update seems to be a bad idea. Now Firefox, in general, is a bit slower running more often. "But I tell myself that I can still downgrade flash drive and it does not seem to cause a problem with firefox running on my computer).   AW, too bad. I looked hard for a good add-on English Dictionary. I am a stranger and really need a dictionary English somple surf any website. More English dictionary add-on is too fancy. Click on the word and it will be displayed as, that you want you, dictionary, thesaurus, or something else, or what dictionary you want your definition of etc.

  I want just an add-on of simple English dictionary that will give me a definition right now. With this fancy add-on dictionary, my clicking on a single page, double or triple. It's really bad when I have to click 20 times, becoming now forty times (or sixty times) just for a single page. If suggestions about this simple English dictionary add-on is there someone?

  Thunder bird wont let me install a spell check language I followed the steps online but it wont work, I do something wrong? I am pressing Thunderbird announcement then it asks to save / open with when I press open with her ask with what program and I click on thunderbird and nothing happen and save to just ask if I want to record on if I save to my desktop it is just an empty file to the research that wont open.
