  It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

  Delete the files (extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

• I have install an add-on for Firefox, but it does not appear in my list of Add-ons Manager, and after I restarted Firefox, it went.

  I try to install 1-Click Youtube Video dDownloader, which is supposed to add a download button to Yuotube video pages. I go here:

  When the button does not appear, but the extension is marked as active, try to reload the page to Youtube without using the cache by pressing command + shift + r to see if that triggers the extension to insert the button.

  Page modules work in the reinstalled Firefox? If this is not the case, there is always a problem in the profile folder.

  Note: Some plugins can only exist in this OldFirefox file. If it is missing something essential, present in these files:

  • \OldFirefox\Plugins
  • \OldFirefox\browser\plugins

  Otherwise, there is no reason to keep the old folder except research/curiosity.

• Some add-ons installed do not show in the toolbar

  I have some add-ons installed that keep disappears from the toolbar at the top of the page where I want what they (next to the search bar). They include the video Download Helper and Cookies-Self-Destructing. I entered in Customizing, and these modules do not appear in the "features and additional tools.   There seems to be a problem with Ublock. If I uninstall it, the Add-ons reappear and I am able to put them in the toolbar. I installed Adblock Plus.
