• Adding more large size Redo log groups in RAC, ASM

  We had 4 groups of log roll forward of any size on the two nodes.yesterday, I added 4 new larger size groups using pl/sql developer tool and deleted the old 2 redolog groups. But I'm not able to remove the rest of the 2 groups of old.
  
  ORA-01567 a log2 fall would have less than 2 log files for example 1.
  
  Our redolog files are the SAN and the two points of the same storage node. When I pulled this command line query
  
  SELECT v$ logfile.member, v$ logfile.group #, v$ log.status, v$ log.bytes
  V $ log v$ logfile
  WHERE v$ log.group # v = $logfile.group #;
  
  I had the same result for both nodes.
  
  The problem that I think, is that all 4 new newspaper groups are added to instance 2 and its old 2 grouips are are also deleted.

  But it is good to use 3 groups... each of the threads.

  If you mean the idea to determine approximately the size of the log to roll forward... you can check newspaper alerts.

  Sorry, I didn't know that you use Firefox 3.6.24. The solution I provided works in Firefox 8. However, I have one of my older laptops running Firefox 3.6.24 and I do not have the blue bar with the message (just a clean blue bar), but it's probably because I'm using a custom theme (Chromifox Basic).

  Maybe you can add to this theme (you can always unable or uninstall later) and it will solve your problem. To install a custom Firefox Theme as follows:

  • Go to \Tools\Add-ons;
  • Click on the link "Browse all add-ons."
  • Click on "Themes" (at page Add-ons);
  • Search for "Chromifox Basic" (in the search box);
  • Click on the green button "add to Firefox".
  • Restart your browser.

  What driver version are you using?  I assume you are using version 1.0.  I looked in the RxHWParameters.vi block diagram nodes property subset since this is where the error message indicates the error comes.  There is a call to the Active Channel property.  This property is new for the driver NOR-USRP 1.1.  The driver update should resolve this error.

  You can find the driver 1.1 here.

  Update the driver, you will also need to update the firmware and FPGA image.  Here 's a knockout that explains how to do this.

• 'Sorting album' is not displayed correctly

  I discovered that field "Album kind" did not work as I expected in my latest version of iTunes on 10 of widows.

  I added a large Cabinet in my iTunes music library. It's Candlemass band box called Doomology , which contains seven CDs each being a separate album. I would like to as each name of the album in this set to display in the column 'Album', but have all the albums that are grouped under the name of Doomology in the Explorer. I wrote the name of each album in 'Album' tags (for example, the fist of the box set disc is called Live Jönköping) and registered Doomology in 'Album of the sort. However due to some weird reason, all the photos are grouped under the name Live Jönköping in the column browser - iTunes recognized that all of these albums should be grouped in a single line in the column browser, but looks like it applies the name of the first album for the display and not the complete cabinet (which is correctly written in the tag 'Album kind' of each file).

  Could you please share ideas on what could go wrong?

  The sort fields are not designed to combine different values. If you want the box to appear as an album, give it a title of an album. Each value of non-tri should be associated with exactly one sort value and vice versa. The non-sort value is what is displayed, the sort value control where he figures in the sorting lists.

  It's true. The extension indicates that the library has been upsized. There is no other difference.

  Photos will not migrate the library with this extension.  I just change the extension back to .aplibrary after you migrate an Aperture library.  Then Photos can migrate again, if need be, and I can use it in opening again.

  BTW, the migrated Aperture library and new photo library share storage, but not the files of images, photos are stored very efficiently by hard links. See: Photos saves disk space to share images with your iPhoto or Aperture - Apple Support libraries

  A data acquisition uses a multiplexer to send a signal to the ADC.  Due to having only 1 ADC, you will get this effect if the ability has no way to bleed.  There is no way to avoid this if you disconnect the side DAQ, leaving the open input channel.

  You could try adding in some amplifiers specially designed for the shunts of currents.  I have used TSC103IPTwith success.  This amplifier gives you a single output is completed.  But I don't know what will happen with these if you disconnect one side of the resistance of the amplifier.

I didn't know that a small device like the clip would work through large amplifier.

  ^^ That's all you need. 3.5 end plugged into your helmet, RCA plugs on the other end of the cable plugged in CD on your stereo or boom box. Just max your volume of Clip with the EQ on the normal and you're good to go.

• Error message saying no disk space on recovery drive E

  I have a laptop Dell Inspiron which is only a few months old and I use Vista Home Premium. I constantly receive an error message indicating that the recovery E: disk space is full. I went to the computer to check the available disk space and the bar is completely RED for drive E: of recovery. I have a lot of available memory on drive C: I tried to Defrag disk and disk cleanup.   Dell computers are shipped with a recovery partition you can use to restore the computer to the way it was when it was new (usually by pressing F12 when the computer starts).   The problem is not that the recovery partition is almost full.  The problem is that Windows Vista should not access that partition at all and shouldn't the user.

  To delete the partition of Windows Vista and avoid the error message, remove the drive letter:

  1. click on the Start button.
  2 type diskmgmt.msc in the Search box and press enter .
  3. click continue at the user account control prompt.
  4. when the disk management window, right-click the E: partition, click change drive letter and paths... and click Remove .
  5. click on Yes .
