  I need help using the shipper of the property. I have an excel file that contains a bunch of properties, and the properties change quite often. I want to be able to load a picture of the excel file properties by using the shipper of the property and create these properties in Teststand programmatically. It is a sample of the file I want to import: when I tried the charger of the property, I got an error, because the properties did not exist. So, how can I create them as they load?

  I have a VO with an attribute based on the field of database of MONEY.

  In the configuration of the VO for the attribute I put:

  • In the "Details" tab: Type = BigDecimal
  • In the "Indications of the UI" tab: Format type and Type like the image below

  

  These settings allow the value of the attribute (in the table, inputText) appears with thousands and decimal separator that according to my language - Italian - are. (point) and, (comma).

  For example. Silver number displayed correctly:

  10.123.000,37

  When I write the value of the attribute in an Excel cell using apache.poi...

  cell.setCellValue (attr.toString ());

  ... I see in the cell...

  10123000.3700

  ... Although I'd like to see what...

  10123000,37 (not thousands separator, the comma as separator decimal and only 2 decimal places)

  Federico, this isn't really a question JDev or ADF. This can be solved by setting the cell format to the cell, you write the number. Like oyu would in excel

  style.setDataFormat(HSSFDataFormat.getBuiltinFormat("#,##0.00"));

  In a project, I want the learner to use Excel for some exercises. I think that it is possible to publish an Excel file to a Web site, then enter both the syntax stir as well as javascript code which displays excel file with most of its features intact. I managed to get both sets of code to a file test Excel using Microsoft WebApp.

  I tried to drop this code in the script for a button action window in Captivate 8, then previewed using F12, but he had no answer when I clicked on the button. 9Wouldn t, which have been very well if it was that easy?)

  I just tested it and it works:

  In your excel workbook, go to the tab 'File', then 'Share', then 'Embed '.

  At the bottom of the dialog box, you will see the embed code.  What you want is the attribute "src" with the URL of the map.  Only copy this URL and use it in the web object.  See if that makes a difference.

  I imagine that this error is caused by files locked by the process that runs the interface.
  How do I unlock this file so it can be deleted?

  Are you sure that you have full access to the \\ATENEA\SERVICIOS\PRUEBASCARGA\compras\Por_Cargar resources?
  By default, sharing resources gives access to everybody, only for reading.
  Try to open \\ATENEA\SERVICIOS\PRUEBASCARGA\compras\Por_Cargar resources in Windows Explorer and then try to create the new file in this directory.
  Which agent ODI have you used for the execution of the batch (if your server under Windows - have you configured agent runs as a service)?
  What is the platform of the server when you run the agent?

  the problem appears as

  Notice that I use the operating system windows as a client and a linux as a server database

  The file will be written to the database server or your GNU / linux and I'm quite sure, there is no folder named "c:\temp" on linux. It will probably be ' / tmp' on a unix server.

  And open the file, you must give the name logic directory 'PALPROV_REPORTS' it instead of the user name "utilisateur12".

  I need to find a way to open and document, excel adds a row of data, then sort the data in the first column and save the document again.  I've seen and used other commands of activex for excel, but I have not found a way to do what I want to do.  I'm also using labview 6.1.  I found an example in 7.0, but I couldn't use it.

  Thanks for any help.  It has been a nightmare to try to understand the command spell.

  I also see this. Quite special. A problem is that when 'Key1' is specified by a string, then the assumption is that there is a range defined in the workbook called 'A1' (the example in this case). Even if explicitly link you a range for the parameter "Key1", according to documentation of the kind, it still does not. Yet, it works perfectly well in the macro. I don't know what is happening and you will have to examine this new.

  A short term solution is to have a macro in the worksheet to sort, and then simply call the macro in LabVIEW.

  You open a single reference to a worksheet and then at the same time, you have several instances of "close Reference.vi' racing to close the same reference.  As soon as an instance closes the reference the rest of the code is broken.

• Drop-down list in an excel file menu options

  I develop software test bench. I need the end-user to choose a (Enum probably) drop a test condition (or perhaps test the settings). But the options in the menu must be read from a file Excel, when a new option is available, its name is added to the excel file, it appears in the menu dropdown.

  Use the strings property [].  You may have to right-click on the property and put it in writing.

  Search the forums and you will find hundreds of examples (or even thousands) of how to get the LabVIEW data in Excel.  From there, you can create your chart in Excel.  Very likely, you will want to use ActiveX functions in LabVIEW to communicate directly with an Excel spreadsheet.

• Having trouble getting an Excel file table

  This will probably be a very stupid question, but I could hurt trying to get a table 2D from an Excel file? The file contains two columns of data that I want as a 2D array (or two tables 1 d) and after having tried a number of things I don't get anything up on top of my chart. The attached VI is a work in progress and has been hashed together some other work (it will be used to control scanning mirrors).

  After you follow the steps in the KB, I changed the file to a text (.txt) file and was then able to read the data successfully and it draw on the XY graph using a modified version of your code that contains only the item file IO. If you make changes to your data file and then reference in the amended VI that I have attached, this will help to illustrate how you can view your data in LV

  -pass the DAQmxRead to give you fair DBL tables instead of waveforms
