• Desgning a VI that time / interrupts a film according to the input signal

  Basically, what I'm trying to do is to design a VI who plays or pauses a movie according to the signal it receives. This VI will be used with an EEG device, and what I want to do is play the movie if the signal exceeds a certain threshold, and it stops if this isn't, in other words a VI that responds to neurofeedback.

  As I don't have access to the equipment of the GET yet, I use a sine wave at the moment than the EEG signal in VI of the attachment in this post (which of course will be later replaced by waves of EEG recording), and what I want to do is to read the film if the signal is greater than 0 and put the film on hold if the signal is less than 0. Any help would be appreciated

• BB Maps Menu item is added several times

  Hi, I'm currently adding an ApplicationMenuItem custom to the Maps Application. However, no matter what I do, the menu items run method is never called, the place my application main method is called and the menu item is added once more to the menu card. In other native applications, it worked perfectly, just in the Maps app it seems not working. I also tried the information provided to http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800332/800703/How_To _... but still got the same results. I have another point of entry to my request so that the menu item is added to the start of blackberry. If I remove the other entry point and add the menu item when the user starts the application in the bb menu, it works. I would be grateful any entry on the subject I would like to work with the other entry point. I use Eclipse with the JDE Plugin 1.0.0.67 with component Package 4.2.1 (also tested with 4.5.0).   Add the same argument that I use in my menu entry point (to differentiate the delivery of system boot) to the ApplicationDescriptor solved the problem.

• Measure the time of the rising edges of a digital stream using a USB-6341

  I have a DAQ USB-6341 map.

  I use Measurement Studio (writing code in c#) on a Windows 7 computer.

  I'm relatively new to the DAQ cards, programming, so I could ask something that is obvious (sorry if this is the case).

  I went out a stream of digital pulses to an analog output channel.  I wired this channel to one input of the meter channel.  I am able to measure the number of edges upward to the inlet of the meter channel (since the digial flow is continuous, the number of rising edges increases with time).

  I would like a time stamp of each rising transition and I like to keep these timestamps in a table without ever growing (or maybe bin these timestamps in a histogram).

  Set up the meter channel to provide the timestamp data? (rather than just count)

  The meter must be able to measure the relative time between the different edges of your signal.  To do this, you will take care to set the meter to measure time.  It will measure how long a full period of your signal takes.  You can configure edge that you want to start with.  You'll want to set up your timed 'implied' measure.  This sets up the meter to automatically take action whenever a period is over.  While it's not exactly a timestamp, you can find the distance between two edges by adding the time periods between the banks in question.

  I see another technique that you can use.  This would put the counter to edges of County one of the basics of time of your device (it has 100 KHz, 20 MHz and 100 MHz bases long).  Then configure the task to use your signal as a sample (configuration to use rising edge) clock.  Whenever the song occurs, you will get the number of ticks ticks selected timebase that took place at that time.  One thing to note here, however, is that the counters are 32-bit wide, so your code will have to manage the overthrow of this charge if you are using a fast time and base running for long periods of time.

  I use an app without a head for the handling of push messages and after the 10.3.1 update, I added a timer trigger. In the bar - descriptor.xml, I added another filter in the tag to invoke the application without a head target:

• Adding menu items to Contacts

  I have an application that I want to add to the Contacts Menu using MENUITEM_ADDRESSBOOK_LIST. In the Simulator, I run the application and it adds to the menu (using the example code for the function t.test with). Whenever I run it, it adds another instance of the menu item. Now the questions:

  (1) the user should click on this app to add it to the menu?

  (2) what happens when the device is restarted? They will have to run the application again to add it to the menu yet?

  (3) how can I determine that menuitem has already been added and not keep adding every time that the application runs?

  You must configure your application as an application 'auto start' (see the project properties in the JDE).

  You have two entry points - the "automatic" Startup entry point and the GUI entry point.

  You will add your menu item in the "automatic" startup code

• False track audio times with Windows Media Player.

  I use Audacity to record LP's and then burn it to a CD with Windows Media Player. When the pieces are added to the Windows Media Player burn list, channel 1 and 3 always show the track record time for 9 & 8 minutes adding unused time at the time of the correct record.  I can only get 60 minutes or less on a 80 minute CD.

  Hello.  I did a search for this problem but I have a lot of visitors on how to use the flash to a stopwatch.  This is not what I want.

  I want to know if there is a way to put a clock on the screen "test movie" after having supported on "ctrl + enter".  Usually, for a scene the timeline will tell how many seconds it is, but with several scenes, it would be nice to have a clock there on the screen, rather than scrolling through each scene by adding the time.  Is there anything available like this, perhaps via an actionscript?

  That's why I often make an alias of the fact table and join the in the time dimension with year - 1. For me the SQL out readable and performs generally better than the version that comes with AGO.
