  Hi, I use jdeveloper 11.1.1.3 and I am trying to assign an application as a member role to another role of application, but only enterprise users and roles can be added.
  The strange thing is that I can achieve in the deployed application, using enterprise manager. (and it works)

  JDev does not support application roles as members of other application roles in 11.1.1.3.0. We have added this support to the drafting of jazn-"Data.xml" JDeveloper and you should see it in the next version of the Group of available patches. In the meantime, you could do yourself in the xml editor.

• I want to remove that stupid box with the + (start adding applications to your borwser. Click for more options) which takes up an entire line

  When I right click on this box, I get a choice to show/hide, but it has no effect whatsoever. I want this crap out of my firefox window, there is no reason that this a stupid box faces a range of display space!

  Not sure if that's what you mean... the right of small buttons below the URL of the browser bar... has a negative sign and sign more and more boxes to be added for ease... I just right click to the right of these boxes... then options happen below the arrow on the mouse... Uncheck the 'extra'... got rid of him for me.
  If you meant something else... Sorry no idea, but hope this helps.
  p.s. I'm on a Mac... also the option is given under 'View' in the top / toolbar /..., you can uncheck 'extra' here too.

• Adding applications to the jDeveloper 10.1.3.4

  I have a request, consisting of 3 servlets, which was initially developed in jDeveloper 8.
  I have difficulties to import source to jDeveloper 10, so that I can recompile and deploy the package. (It worked originally on Oracle Application server 9i, but when we went to 10g THAT we receive an error java.io.IOException: server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL: when the tent main servlet to communiacate with one second).

  There is no such thing as 8 JDeveloper.
  Two options - if you have the project file or a workspace (jpr or TJS extensions) - just open them in JDeveloper and cela should take care of bringing to the source.
  If you don't have those - then file-> New-> project-> project from existing source and point in the directory where the source files are located.
  You may need to do a little more tweaking of the location of the Web content under project-> content properties

  Until you answered, in fact, there is no mention of it being the Service Packs .NET Framework you ask on.  However - it's the same thing - everything I said is true.

  Whether you need for each version (not really just the service packs when it comes of .NET Framework) of the .NET Framework - it is unlikely that you need for each version, but you have not need is hard to say.  They are not cumulative, and it does not replace the other.  So you can have 1.1, 2.0 and 3.5, but no need for 3.0 and 4.0, or you can have 1.1 and 3.0 but not need 2.0 or 3.5 or 4.0.  It depends on what is installed that could use them.  With regard to the individual service for each version packs - if you have installed the version of .NET Framework (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0) it is unwise (at best) may have also installed SPs.

  However - good money says that you do little or nothing to worry about the tricks of Windows that are installed.  4.5 GB GB 9 would * still * be the case with all versions of the .NET Framework installed for Windows XP files, including the .NET frameworks (and SPs), Office Suites, browsers, Internet plugins, produced complete adobe full Autodesk products, etc..  Round that up to 15 GB maximum (depending on the version of the product in question) and that is the way that much which is * not * your stuff (files created) resumes probably - leaving you with ~ 22 GB of available free space (Yes, already rounded due to the fact that a 40 GB drive is not really 40 GB formatted).

  In truth - it looks like you need to buy a new hard drive and replace the one you have.  If this is the total size of the drive - 40 GB - are not adequate.  80 + GB would be my recommendation, if you plan to stay with Windows XP.  250 + GB would be my recommendation, if you plan to go to Windows 7, but since the laptop has only a 40 GB drive - doubtful it was designed for Windows XP beyond.

  You use a type of licence that has no application remoting support? This must be included in the section of the license of the admin UI.

  Without it, you're always able to put in place, but entered applications will be filtered customers.

  Tried, local administrator permissions, domain administrator permissions. Both allow me to install an application with involved AppVolumes and reboot several times, and the application is still there.

  Once the option of commissioning is added applications will not be installed when you restart.

• Apple/Mac by adding to the file path?

  The code works correctly in Windows (the file is located on a shared Windows directory), but on a Mac, I get an error "cannot find file" and claims that is the defaultPath variable:
