  Hi all, my apologies if this has been asked before...

  Recently, I was shocked to discover more than half of my completely missing contacts.  Or so I thought, but then I realized that they were all just "often called '.  They are NO MORE in the menu "contacts"!  They actually LEFT the menu contacts and now only appear in frequently called.  So now, more than half of all my contacts are simply thrown in frequently called, not even not in alphabetical order!  It's a nightmare!  I HATE having to search through two different menus for each person to find!

  I can't really think many here now.  Whatever it be added to calls frequent would be something not saved to your contacts, so why it is removed I have no idea.  The only thing I could think to check would go in your contacts folder, press menu, and then click display options.  Make sure that under your gmail account, the box is checked to display contacts (first box) or add all contacts (last box) and see if the rest will appear.  I have only the first checked and all my frequent callers in the contacts list, but its something you can see.

  Looks like your Contacts application launches only for a split second, then closes. I'd leave the Contacts app specifically with the following steps:

  Force an app to close the iOS

  1. press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used.
  2. slide to the left to find the application you want to close.
  3. push upward on the overview of the application to close.

  When you have done that reboot the device and test again the question:

  iOS: switch off and on (restart) and reset

  You will not be able to do it with the PIN messages as you can with e-mail.  Reception of invocation of sharing with the PIN messages is not supported.

  BlackBerry explicitly states that there is no way to read the permissions granted. Instead your application should attempt to use the resource controlled by the permission and respond to errors when these resources are not accessible. The problem you have is that, in my judgment, there is NO function in ContactService indicating an error during authorization has not been granted. They act just as if there are no resources that you are looking for, which is not at all useful.

  There is only one thing I can think of, but it's ugly... try to create a new contact and then see if it is there. If this is the case, you have the permission. Then delete the contact test.

  I told him he was ugly. The good thing is that you only need to run your test if ContactService reports no contacts, which is extremely rare I think.
