• I found a bug. All my addons are missing

  For some reason, all of my addons are missing. And since I sync all my settings between three computers, they all disappeared from these browsers as well! Yes, they are all compatible with the new Firefox 29 or 28, regardless of this new it is.

• Installer missing in win7

  I posted a problem yesterday, as Miss me the installer of windows. I received a response with a name attached today. My problem is that I click on the answer, I find myself on the same page that I started looking to see others who have the problem. The #1 page is where I find myself, without reference to that person's response. My problem is different in that I show the installation file in system32, but missing from the service centre. My question is that I have to read through all the posts (of which there are hundreds) to locate the person who sent my solution, or can at least find the page where it is posted. • Cost organization CS5.5 on Mac installation - missing of presets and AVCHD support

  Oh, that's crazy.  How hell isn't bug-fixed?

  I'm in the middle of the implementation of a new Assembly Hall for my second aryschool where I am a Professor of the sociology of the media.  I have a handful of Mac running install fresh that I installed the new legal site, a first Pro CS5.5 license installed on.  By default, as in many workplaces, Macs require admin for internet passwords and install settings, which I applied.  None of the machines have made versions od body CS5.5 test or previous versions of the body.

  Questions:

  1. No of install it fresh contains presets for AVC-Intra, AVCHD, DSLR digital, XDCAM EX, XDCAM HD422, and XDCAM HD.  That is the kind of calamity, as we have new cameras Panasonic HDC AVCHD - SD900 wait to load images for editing.
  2. As a result, none of the Mac will load or recognize the AVCHD footage when I try to add.  I get error "compression type not supported."

  Am I missing something basic here, or I am about to enter the "all delete adobe, restart, reinstall, restart" loop of hell to try and fix a whole roomful of machines?   Is it possible to check if the settings are on the Mac?  Is it possible to connect again in the body, if they are?  And finally, is it possible to get the CS5.5 to recognize AVCHD in a recognized format (it's why I bought the license of site in the first place!  Premiere Pro is supposed to have the simplest AVCHD compatibility of all editing suites!).

  GRR.  The name of God.

  Well, this turned out to be weird.  Now fixed, but WEIRD.  After the deafening silence on this forum, I went and did some reading on other threads and with other people having the same (but apparently not the same) issue.  It seems it could have been three different causes: here's what I did to fix things, I'd be fascinated if anyone with closer links to Adobe comes with the technical explanation of why this turned out as it did.

  Possible problems:

  (1) installation may need to be done as Admin, rather than as a standard user on a Mac

  (2) firewall/proxy server is not allowing maybe a few anonymous reminder first of adobe to record parameters predefined/codecs

  (3) a strange thing involving registration... some people have had problems with time zones, of all things.  See below.

  What I did:

  (0) took all the school network to offshore and put on my home wireless network: no firewall, direct internet connection.

  (1) tried the above suggestion of Ann Bens.  Could not disable the software when you are logged in as administrator on my mac.  Came up with the error code 255:255 in the notification area, even though I never had a trial installed on this box.  It's the same error I got to school, so I excluded provisionally firewall/proxy problems.

  (2) read the forums even more.  I'm in New Zealand, it is currently daylight savings time (GMT + 13) here.  In http://forums.adobe.com/message/4007876, someone in New Zealand had a different but similar problem with the first Pro software registration/deregistration in time advanced NZ and found that change in ANY other time zone fixed their deliverance.

  (3) thought ' what the hell ', changed zone in Samoa (could not bring myself to make the Australia...) and restarted as an administrator.

  (4) software properly disabled, no error message.  Interesting.

  (5) uninstalled first pro.  Restarted as an administrator.

  (6) adobe Ran cleaning tool.  Found a few bits and pieces, killed off the coast.  Rebooted as admin to be on the safe side (always at the time of Samoa)

  (7) installed first, no problem at all.  Not registered, no problem at all.  All presets are present and correct, no problem getting AVCHD files.

  (8) changed time zone at the time of light day NZ.

  (9) all still works.

  HM.  Adobe, SOMETHING is wrong with the way your software processes zones and registered the codecs/software on first Pro CS5.5.  Seriously, anyone has an idea why this is happening?

  So resolved.  I'll give myself a tick for "right answer" and "useful answer", since I have solved my own thing without help from technical support?

  We are trying to install the necessary updates in eclipse according to the 'Oracle Communications Studio Version 3.0.0' document to run Studio Service OSM.
  
  but the eclipse complaining: "Studio of Service order and management services integration (1.0.0.v200805122103 - b276) requires the plug-in"com.mslv.studio.activation (3.0.0)", or compatible." when we try to install com.mslv.studio.provisioning.integration.feature_1.0.0.v200805122103 - b276.jar to a local installation site.
  
  When I look at I have documentation on page 20 I realize that the following modules are missing from the file downloaded with updates V13266 - 01.zip (provided by edelivery.oracle.com):
  
  (1) studio 3.0.0 Activation Service
  (2) studio SRT 3.0.0 Activation Service
  (3) studio 1.0.1 Inventory Service

  Objective:
  Where can I find the files of Service authoring environment (alias Studio of Service) for the Activation and inventory?

  The documentation indicates that these elements are needed:
  (1) studio Activation Service
  (2) studio SRT Activation Service
  (3) studio inventory Service

  Solution:
  Download the "Oracle Communications Service creation environment software and Documentation x.x" package of each Media Pack on eDelivery.Oracle.com:
  (Activation) Oracle Communications ASAP
  (Inventory) Oracle Communications unified inventory management
  (Provisioning) Oracle Communications order and service management

  Search on Oracle Communications products.

  Maybe this will help. However after choosing the product range of the Oracle and the program as Sun Solaris(64-bit) Communications, announced it does not show the above package. Try as well. Let me know if you are able to download the package.

• Addons are missing

  When I reset firefox today, updated.
  After that it's over, I noticed that was missing all the information in my profile except cookies and bookmarks.

  I was able to set the options back to what they were most of the time, but I can't find my modules at all. I checked the default folders and none of them seem to have either.
  Desperately trying to find them because some of them had important information or gain of time that has been built over the past year.

  When you reset Firefox and a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, data form) are automatically imported and the current profile folder will be moved on the desktop to a folder "Old data Firefox".
  
  Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, Pref.) that you have made are lost and must be redone.

  It is best to reinstall your extensions.

  Note that it is possible to recover more data from the old profile, but be careful not to copy files corrupted to avoid transporting on the problem.

  -And then I tried to install windows on another hard drive 8.1, it works (-online my copy of windows and my usb boot are good)
  -J' tried to install windows 7 on ssd (MSC mode, ssd in the mbr). It works. (=> my work of ssd)

  Have you tried to install Win 8.1 on the SSD drive using the MBR instead of GPT partition system?

  To be honest, I m confused due to the error message; No hard drive found. Click on load a driver to provide a driver for installing mass storage.

  As far as I know you don t need to add additional drivers try to install Win 8.1.
  The system already contains the basic SATA drivers.

  So I guess there must be a problem between the Win 8.1 and the SSD drive or SSD partitions.

  As mentioned, try to remove the partitions and create a MBR partition then try to install the Win 8.1
  Also try MSC mode.

Your advice jogging my memory, so before I have done as you suggest, I reinstalled Firefox 14 and then uninstalled using the windows 7 program/control panel uninstall installation. In doing so, the Firefox uninstall window opens and when asked to choose to uninstall any program or all personal settings etc. too, choose to uninstall all personal settings too. I then reinstalled Firefox 14 and the Scrapbook addon and they now work correctly.

  I daresay that your instructions are quite right, in this case, I don't have to go through the command prompt.

• All my addons have been deleted and lost. Even backup has been removed in the latest update of FF. Now addons will not appear and add on bar does not appear. How to fix?

  All the Addons are missing after a recent update of FF. Backup also failed. How the hell that happened? made me? Went back to recharge add on extensions that I needed to use. However, add it to the toolbar does not appear. Tried restoring add on extension of tool bar. Now I add it on the toolbar in the verified Tools menu that was not there before. However, add it to the toolbar doesn't show always upward. Custom selection is worthless because it does not show that the extension add ons. I can check the extensions downloaded in add it menu and they are activated. However, they are not work or appear as it should!

  It is a bigger problem than the simple click here or there.

  I would say definitely go for the clean reinstall of Firefox. Your problem is obviously much more complex then just a misconfigured setting or something. When you updated Firefox, something may be wrong. The instructions are in the post 5.

  There will be a folder of old data of Firefox on your desktop. To restore data from this file, you can retrieve data from an old profile or you can reinstall the add ons.

  Found. This .reg file reinstalls Windows Installer missing and at least for my computer fixed the issue. Hope this helps you as well.

  You probably have some adware or toolbar that has changed the page used for a newtab.

  • Remove a toolbar that has supported your Firefox or the homepage search
    • The addon of reset of search is useful to fix this https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/

  The addon installs, modifies settings and to uninstall. But you may need to remove the adware or which could change the settings again.
  BUT Note If you are using Firefox (American) addon resets to Yahoo as en-US search engine and you will need to manually select the Google later.

  Whatever the selected search engine to be used for the search toolbar must be used in other research including the address bar Firefox and the new tab.
